Shopping for jeans is one of my least favorite activities, so I was hesitant to purchase sight unseen online. Excellent quality, and very comfortable! They hold their shape nicely after washing.

I wanted to move on from skinny jeans but didn't want super wide legs either, and these jeans are the perfect fit They have a slight flare at the hem. The fabric is stretchy but they keep their shape after all day wear. I'm going to order more in other colors if available. My only tip is that they ran small to me. I ordered my normal size and had to exchange for a size up, which fit perfectly.

The BeanFlex jeans are comfortable, fit well, just the right amount of width in the legs - not too tight, not too wide. I really like these and plan to buy another pair this fall.

Recently, my regular online petite clothing retailer (starts with a "T") modified its jeans to have a baggy look, so I thought I'd give L.L. Bean jeans a try. Not only are they comfortable, but their appearance is neither too slim nor too baggy on me. We petite gals often can't pull off the baggy look, so I'm very pleased and will buying my jeans from L.L. Bean from now on. As a note, I used to buy size 8 from my old clothing retailer, but size 10 seems to fit me better with L.L. Bean.

This two jeans are not the first of these thet I have bought. They are wonderful t hey fit like real jeans it's hard to find one in plus sizes in petite. Then someday when I am skinny I can still get them.

These are nice to wear especially in the Spring and fall. In the winter i was thinking of wearing them with thermals. When I need extra coverage in the summer these are fine.

Due to my waist being one size smaller than my hips, I have struggled to find jeans (or any pants, really) that fit me well. I generally have to pinch the fabric at the waist and use large safety pins to hold the fold in place. This creates odd puckers in the hip area and causes discomfort when/if the pins become undone! I have returned several pairs of mail-order pants due to fit issues so I decided the bes5 way to find a nice-fitting pair of jeans was to go to the store. I frequently purchase tops for my husband and myself from LLBean so they were my first choice. Unfortunately, the closest brick & mortar store is several states away. So, on our recent trip to Boston, I made it a priority to visit LLBean in person! Allie, the salesperson we met, was very understanding, patient and extremely helpful in locating a pair of jeans that fit perfectly - the size 8 BeanFlex! They are the best fitting jeans I've had in several decades and I will be ordering several more pairs very soon so I can clear my closet of those with safety pin holes in the waist band!

Buying jeans is complicated. There are many style and fit options, which are a mystery to me. An experienced salesperson asked me questions, and provided 6-7 pairs to try. I found just the right pair. I am completely satisfied.

Perfect fit. Petite length was exactly right. I've washed and dried them without shrinkage and minimal fading. I recommend them.

Very happy with these jeans - good fit, style & fabric

I was very excited to see these jeans in the catalog but was disappointed with their fit. Size 14 was very loose in the calf area, almost looking like a boot cut and they are a bit baggy in the groin and very tight around the waist. I wear a 12 in J. Jill but the 12 was way too tight. Sadly, they are going to be returned.

Exactly what I was looking for in jeans. I know if I spend a little more for LL Bean, it will be excellent quality.

Have several pairs these BeanFlex jeans but sadly returned them because of the color. Have been waiting for several years for Bean to offer a lighter color for summer, what might be called an "arctic blue." The pair I rec'd was maybe even a little darker than in the picture. Otherwise, great jeans, the only kind I will buy.
