LLBean jeans never fit me. Every few years I try again and they are always too small. This time I even ordered a size bigger than my non-llbean jeans, and they were too small. Frustrating

I've bought many size 6 Beanflex over recent yrs, my recent order is clearly cut smaller. Comparing measurements of if past and present jeans there is about a half inch smaller on all measurements. My guess is they are using a new manufacturer.

loved the fit while in the store. Became baggy and lost shape after just a day . Nursing them along has done next to nothing ...so ..there we are .

My original Bean Flex jeans were size 14, longer length. They fit me great. These jeans were the the regular length; size 14 also but vastly smaller. I felt like I'd suddenly gained weight. (yipes!)

Almost every pair of jeans I own are LLBean, but I have worn them to death and needed some new ones. I tried these jeans and found the fit completely different from all the others I own. The fabric is good, but the legs are way too long and the waist is way too tiny. The small waist made the front stick out when the button was fastened. Not at all the same quality and fit I have come to expect from LLBean.

I have several pairs of the LLBean performance stretch jeans (low rise, slim leg). They are my favorite jeans ever, and since they've stopped making them I've been looking for a replacement...Can't seem to find low rise here anymore. These jeans are not comfortable at all, the fabric is pretty thick and the waist is too high and tight. For reference, I'm 5' 3" and 110 pounds. All my pants are size 4 and fit just fine. These do not. If you are going to try these I would recommend going a size up from your usual.

Beanflex Jeans I had were comfortable from the beginning. The 2nd pair are stiff, not flexible so feel tighter and uncomfortable. Very disappointed! I would not order these again.

Jeans at LL Bean are not true to size . I bought one pair, went back to but another pair. I decided not to try them on at the store thinking they would fit like the last pair. Same jeans and sk. Number.

I'm 5'3, 140lbs. In most brands I am a size 8. I originally purchased size 8, regular. The waist was way too tight. Ordered size 10. The waist was still very tight. I don't think they would even wear in after time to be more comfortable. In both sizes, I liked the length and feel of the denim. Unfortunately these will not work for me.

I own several pairs of L L bean Jeans, size 6P, favorite fit, only a tiny amount of stretch. They were perfect, but I have not purchased a new pair for several years. Now the favorite fit is only available in bean flex with much more stretch and less cotton and they have changed the waist size so that it was tight. I returned them.

I purchased these mid-December in the same size as my last 3 pairs and yet they felt snug everywhere as if the sizing for the product has been changed. I hope this pair was merely a poorly manufactured pair -- BTW, my 3 older pairs still fit perfectly so the problem is the slacks and NOT me.

I was so disappointed that these jeans have changed in the manufacturing and are now too small. I ordered several pairs in the past in size 16 petite and they were perfect; I've even lost weight and but the pairs I ordered now are just very uncomfortable, seem smaller in every dimension. It's nice when you can order the same thing reliably but not even with LL Bean is this true anymore! I have to return, AGAIN! Same thing with my husband's Double L jeans; bought them before, ordered again--but his were too baggy. We haven't changed. Why can't labels be reliable anymore?!

I love the fit of these jeans, especially being petite. I bought a couple of pairs this fall. Unfortunately, they have an awful chemical smell. It's hard to remove. I'm trying to soak them in vinegar & water to see if the smell will come out. I hesitate buying anymore and should probably have returned what I did buy.

Quality control must be horrible. I ordered these on recommendation from a friend. Ordered a size up from my usual LLB denim size to accommodate a little more room along the waist band. These jeans are either cut very small compared to the true fit or they were not sized correctly. They lacked at least 2" to close along the whole length of the zipper. It goes right along with ordering the exact same size of two identical tops (except color) and one possibly fitting and the other being way to small or too large! I liked the fabric and I think they would have been comfortable, but was so disappointed. I just need a break from the products

Reviewing return policy, not the item itself, although, the reason i had to return it was due to a sizing problem....so, having to return something for the first time to LL Bean, I was unaware they had a return fee of $6.50. Ridiculous! If they are trying to retain me as a customer when I can easily shop locally at other stores (the closest LL Bean is 40+ miles away), then they need to change their business model. If i were a repetitive returner-new word '-), i could see the reason for a charge, but even then if you're an online retailer, you should do everything you can to keep your customers happy. I am extremely disappointed and will take my money elsewhere. Too bad as i have shopped with them for over 25 years.

The inseam was incorrect. I bought two pairs, regular, which was supposed to have a 30" inseam. Both pairs said regular but the inseam was 28", which is petite. I was sent two replacement pairs and those were 29", which isn't listed as an inseam length at all. Extremely disappointed because the first pair I bought with a 30" inseam was perfect and I just wanted another pair.

The jeans run a size smaller than what I usually wear at LLBean. Also, the jeans came with a terrible smell. I am hoping it comes out with more washing.

Why no straight leg classic fit/high rise??? If people want skinny jeans they can take them in. Better yet - bring back item # 298928 that was 95% cotton and 5% spandex. They were perfect!

I returned these because I didn't like the fit--the legs were too narrow for comfort, and overall the fit was smaller than this size has been for me with previous purchases. I did like the fabric though, and if you offer a different, real straight leg cut, I may try them again. These were what I would call a slim leg cut.

I bought a size 4 petite because that's the size I usually wear with LL Bean pants. In fact, the other size 4 petites I bought at the exact same time were either perfect or too large. So I would expect these jeans to fit, maybe a little tight, maybe a little loose, but to be in the ballpark. But girl, we're going to need a bigger ballpark. These things were so small I'd have risked passing out from lack of oxygen. Even the legs were tight. These fit like they're made for a teen. The mid-rise is also not mid and the boot-cut is barely so (I ordered both straight-let and boot-cut and there's not much difference). I think I would like the jeans well enough if I could get into them without cutting off blood flow to relevant body parts, and I'd exchange them, but how would I even know what size to buy? It's not like these were just too small. It's like these were made for someone other than an adult female. I don't even know how I'd begin to size up. SO disappointing.

Liked the styling, material, and fit around hips and waist. Nice mid-rise styling. Had to return for thighs being styled too tight.

The quality of theses jeans is great. Fabric is soft and has a nice stretch. They just run way too small. I normally wear size 4 in LL Bean pants. And these size 4s barely fastened and were killer tight like a sausage skin. So I returned them and got size 6. They fit fine in the hips, but are still snug in the waist. Probably won't keep these either.

I wear between a 4 and 6, and am looking for jean with a little more room in the waist. I ordered these in a 6. The jeans fit in the thighs and butt, but oh my is that a tight waist! Good quality fabric but so uncomfortable. They have to go back.
