Brooks Ghost 15 in WHITE, EBONY, OYSTER.. truly is the best shoe I have ever put on my feet. I'm so impressed I'm struggling to come up with words to describe this awesome shoe, but I will. If you are hesitating because of price or because of any non-favorable review, I encourage you to press the buy button and watch your life change. I'll tell you why. Trying to find a sneaker that could replace my most comfortable Puma Enzo sneaker I have four pairs of and they're all getting a bit worn, has been quite frustrating, to say the least. I have returned three different pairs of various brands of sneakers and am glad I did. They were the bunk bed of comfort and not the memory foam bed at the Hampton Inn, Hilton, etc. I always wear these plastic inserts that were made for my fee because they make every shoe so very comfy. I can tell you right now I am wearing my usual cotton socks and NO insert with my Ghose 15 and it's actually better than the inserts, I hate to admit that and will save them for other shoes but not for the Ghost 15. I have never felt shoe comfort near what the Ghost 15 provides, it is amazing, with the perfect cushioning in the heel as well as stability without you thinking about it, lacing helps make the midfoot sit perfectly and not move around and my toes, well, let's just say they are the happiest they've been in probably ten years. I wear a size 6 women's and this has always been my size, easy to find shoes in size 6 and I have no other requirements other than the shoe not to be stiff. The Ghost 15 leaves room for my toes to casually feel roomy, not too big, not too spacious, and perfect for stretching out your toes if they're tired, yet they will certainly never be cramped in this shoe unless you have unusually big giant toes, some people do, no big deal. At first, they seems a little loose, and I tied the shoes again because there was too much lace loose, and I was hoping so much to not return these,...And I chose to use the extra lace hole #7 which hides politely closer to my ankle and under the top 6th lace hole. OMG that was exactly the answer to having these shoes fit perfectly and I don't even think about them when I'm wearing them. The Ghose 15 and I are one, and I love them. There is extra support fabric in white around where the laces insert, I love them, look awesome and create more assurance this shoe will last. The Color WHITE/EBONY/OYSTER is fantastic! The sole on the sides is mostly black with a white stripe above it, and the sole grips show up as another white stripe on the sides. The main shoe is oyster, I suppose but to me, it just looks like a soft white and the silver-gray laces match so well. I love that the laces are not too heavy and thick, so they are so easy to lace! The decorative Brooks Swoosh and lining on the tongue and heel areas remind me of gray camo, but more like sporty street icons for athletes. The fabric is very supportive and soft at the same time. Yes, I know conflicting terms, yet the shoe has easy toe movement as the foot goes toward the back and the way the fabric is made holds it all in place. Also, the fabric is vented so your feet don't heat up and just before the heel is more vented areas,... vented meaning small openings in the weave to allow air exchange. I don't have sweaty feet, but this will come as an advantage to those that do have this issue. At first, I was hesitant to purchase this shoe, but after watching some YOUTUBE videos about it, and reading some opinions in reviews, I strongly agree you won't find another shoe to compete with this. Buy this and walk around inside your house, I think you will be impressed. If not quite, then re-lace them carefully and consider that extra #7 lace hole, it made everything perfect. These shoes could be worn even when you want to wear some fancier clothes, the Ghose 15 has a great design in so many ways. Gosh, I'm so happy!. Thank you, Zappos! Thank you, Brooks!
