We live in AZ and my son wore these with his barefoot shoes to the zoo (it was over 110) - he REALLY wanted to wear his new socks so I figured we would test them out in hot weather. He said his feet weren't any hotter than normal. He normally complains of his feet being sweaty and itching and he didn't complain once. He said on the way home he forgot he was wearing his new socks. He really likes them.

Our son loved these socks! We skied all day and he didn't complain once about his feet being cold or his boots rubbing on his legs. Great purchase! Highly recommend.

First time buying Smartwool socks for kids. They are just as good as the adult socks! Durability, thick soft and not scratchy at all. Great at wicking away the moisture on kids feet!

Used for skiing and ice skating for my toddler. I wish they offered one size smaller. These workbut are slightly too big for her. I do think they keep her feet warmer than other socks. They are really pretty too - important for opinionated toddlers!

Size guide is woefully wrong. Says size large fits 3-6, however product comes and package says L - 9-11.5. Not for bigger kids! Lower elementary max.
