I have purchased these shoes before in a 7.5 and just loved them. This pair, in the same size, seems to run narrow and rub the outside of my foot. Very frustrating. Can't return as I've worn them several times.

I recently bought these. I will have to return them because they aren't wide enough. The side edges are high and unyielding so my little toe and fourth toe area cannot stretch out and goes numb until they are removed. My wide width was actually more accommodating and comfortable.

Great shoe for orthotics. Not many with a boxy toe to fit them . Comfortable. Just wish they had more colors like ordinary running shoes.

It looks exactly as pictured. Sole is wide (Hoka-like) and very soft. I always order size 6 but these really do run small so I had to return my size 6 shoes.

Wouldnt buy any other running shoe! Works well with inserts. My foot is normally a wide, but medium fits perfectly w/roomy toe box.

The shoes are what I expected, minus the color. Theyre a dark gray.

Great shoes - really comfortable- mine always wear at the toe so put reinforcements in the toes to make them last longer

So I have bought over several years my 6th pair of Echelons. Every pair has fit me perfect with my orthotics. Ive tried different different companies but always return to Echlon for the fit and comfort. Im so happy Saucony has now introduced several different colors. Love the blue and orange colors.

I have worn echelons for many years! Usually wearing them from the moment I wake up till the time I go to bed. Its the only shoe I could wear that did not cause foot, back, and hip discomfort. I will say the Echelon 9 come in many color choices was the only positive. The Echelon 9 design has completely changed. My feet are sore all the time and I long for the old design.

I purchased these shoes to wear with my orthotics. Orthotics fit perfectly in them without any heel slip. I ordered the size that I normally wear and found the toe box too small, so I had to go up one size because a half size wasn't an option. I do find the sole on these shoes to be quite wide and protrudes quite a bit out the back. I've nicknamed them my lunar landers because they remind me of 80s space boots. Overall, happy with the shoe.

The first pair of Sauconys that I had to break in. They are my work shoes and it took a few shifts before I was able to wear them for 8 hrs.

I too have been an echelon consumer for years but this new redesign has changes so much about the shoe. It hits my outer ankle bone, the weird beveled heel makes me feel unsteady, and no toe cover just the mesh. Im a toe lifter so I tend to tear right through the mesh within a month or so but the old designs had a strip of faux leather which kept that from occurring. I am going to have to look for a different shoe brand. Very sad.

Ive been buying the Echelon 8 for about 3-4 years on the recommendation of my foot doctor.this year that shoe was upgraded to Echelon 9..I wear orthotics & it fit as good as the Echelon 8 & felt even better on my footthey were so good, I bought another pair in a different color from a local store that carries that brand! I love the etchelon as I have major foot problems. I have to wear orthotics daily. And the echelon is the only one shoe that they really work with. My disappointment was that I loved the navy blue color. I was disappointed that they are no longer available. I also like the extra leather around the toe in the old echelon's. I'm afraid my toes will poke through more easily on these.

I love these shoes!!! They arent as comfortable as the Ride 15 or Endorphin Shift, but they are great and fill a gap perfectly. I had to order the endorphin shift in a mens size (Runshield version) because the womens wide were still too narrow. I tried the normal (non-Runshield) endorphins, but even the mens wide didnt work for me. I got diagnosed with hallus limitus/rigidus, and the prognosis was to wear wide running shoes for life. Admittedly I wasnt happy with the sad pile of shoes that have to be sold, and changing my whole style to accommodate sneakers, but here we are. If it werent for Saucony, Id still be in tears! But their shoes have been the only ones that work. And these in particular are soooooo cute! I needed a simple white pair for daily wear, and these are more than perfect. The white is sort of like lace and these will help me adapt to the new style. Thanks Saucony! This is now my 3rd pair of shoes from Saucony and Im thankful to be in less pain.

Changes to this style include more cushion in the outside soul, but still plenty of room for my full foot orthotics. This shoe is now more supportive than previous models...feels really good! Lots of room in the toe box; heel runs narrow and is shaped for a woman's foot. (I wear a wide, but I need a narrow heel. This is one reason why Saucony has been a good fit for me over the years.) The style of this shoe is a little different in that the protective rubber that surrounds the outside of the shoe at the toe has been eliminated. This makes the shoe look wider, but actually it is not. With limited colors, I chose the gray, which is OK. I am looking forward to more choices in the spring. The price of this shoe has gone up. With these improvements, it might be worth it. (I purchased with my discount code.) One gripe: that little tab on the heel which is supposed to help me put on my shoes is practically worthless. It does not stay up and it is hard to grab. A fix is need here. Thanks, Saucony, for making this shoe comfortable for my aging feet.

I had another pair of Saucony's and loved them. I really tried to like these, but they just weren't comfortable. My feet hurt after wearing them around the house. Bummer because it's a great brand.

Have the Echelon8, these aren't those! I have the 8's which I bought last year, and only this year started to wear. I have a size 9, and could use the 9 1/2 because there isn't much toe space to the end of the shoe, but still. they were comfortable. I decided to get the 9 1/2 in the Echelon9. Sorry.. you reduced the toe box on these. Why? Why is it so necessary to make a 'new' show every year or so? Why? The style of the 8 worked great. Change is not always necessary. I am disappointed. I will wear thes, just to see if they may stretch...

Comfy, cushioned shoe BUT toe box is narrow and if I get a wide my foot is swimming in it. I have a bunion on one foot and the medium width does not accommodate it even though I measure a M. I'd be more inclined to play with sizing if the heel did not slope down slightly. That seems to bother my back. Disappointed because I really like the shoe otherwise and am out of options. There are not many shoes that accommodate inserts comfortably. This did but I returned because of the aforementioned issues.

I bought these but unfortunately returned them because the sizing in the toe box was different and too big. My foot slipped around causing soreness on the bottom of my right foot. I don't for sure but suspect the change in the material to a more stretch/flexible fabric may be the cause.

I think I need the wider size, unfortunately. It's too snug even with laces loosened.
