I purchased these to replace well worn Perriguins. Perriguins have soft netting. These are waterproof and have a firm uppers. This needed some "getting used to." They felt stiff and smaller. Within a couple weeks, they are fine. 7 km per day, more on weekends. Regardless of Winter weather here in icy snowy Canada.

I bought these on Black Friday for winter training runs. I have had these before and these new ones are so light, fit better, and the grip is great. We have had a milder winter than normal so have more ice than snow. I just ran 8 miles on frosty trails/sidewalks and small patches of ice from the previous days melt and the grip was excellent. Very happy to have purchased another pair.

It was an awesome pair of shoes for running on ice. Did not slip once on ice or snow. Very stable on ice & snow. The fit for me is true to size and running performance was excellent and it is another shoe to add to my Saucony line.

I bought these shoes forseeing a need for them in my early morning run sessions typically before the snowplows get out. So far i have wore them 3 times about 10 miles. They are comfortable but seem firmer than my endorphin speed 3's. I look forward to testing them out more.

These look and feel like good shoes, comfortable. I had to return them because they didn’t want my high arched feet in them. These run just a little narrow, I checked to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake and bought the women’s version. Fit ok though, snug, but order up a half size for high arches (high instep, high volume feet). I got my foot in but didn’t have enough lace left to tie easily.

Incredible winter trailer running shoe! Great grip on snow and ice, feet are kept nice and warm, very stable underfoot. If you're looking for a shoe to run on icy, snow covered mountain trails this is the one!

I bought these shoes for running in Minneapolis Minnesota for snowy icy days. The lugs are good for snowy, slushy running, but the grit on the bottom is not very useful on actual ice surfaces. The grit catches on the carpet in my entry area, but not the ice, so dont expect the grit to make much of a difference on glare ice.

I was thinking of getting these - an internet search for running/walking shoes that are good in snow and ice brings up this particular shoe each time. I tried them on in a bricks and mortar store and could not get the size right. In a sandal I'm a 5-5.5. In a regular shoe I'm a 5.5. In a sneaker/running shoe it's a 6.5. Tried this on in a 7 and they were way too snug. In a 7.5 they were way too big. Feel like Goldilocks. Too bad - there's something really attractive about the material these are made of and they look pretty sleek on your feet. They were highly recommended by the shoe fitter who is a runner. Too bad, I really liked the look of these.

Thankfully I didn't buy these for the ice factor only. Living in MN we have no shortage of slippery months. They suck on icy surfaces. That being said, what I did buy them for: comfort, looks and water resistance, they're perfect for me.

Not a running shoe. I have been running in Triumph 19 for the past year. I recently bought the Ice 3+ because I wanted something for wet weather. It is described by Saucony as versatile enough for roads or hiking trails. I tried it out today and for the first time since my first 5k about a year ago, I could not do a whole 5k. My IT band was getting very tight. I injured it years ago, but have not had any trouble with it in more than twenties years. The Ice 3+ feels grippy on the wet road, but it was a laborious run and also not good for supinators. Actually, I have not been running much in the last three months and this was my first run in almost a month, but I am fairly certain that my IT band would not have stopped me if I were wearing my Triumph 19s.

In my normal 10.5 size, my big toe touched the front. Haven't tried running in shoe.

I bought these shoes a few weeks ago with the primary purpose of keeping my feet dry when I am out walking in the rain during my lunch breaks. Living in the PNW has already given me ample opportunities to try them out while it is pouring rain, and the shoes have been great for keeping my feet relatively warm and dry. The reason I chose these shoes over a shoe with more cushion though, was that they were marketed as being good on ice - but after going for a walk on icy sidewalks I can report back that they didn't seem to add any benefit when walking on ice. I slipped just about as easily as I did when I walked across the icy parking lot in my tennis shoes. So I'm not really sure what icy scenario Saucony envisioned these shoes being used in.

I bought these in October 2023 and it has unfortunately been a large regret. I am very disappointed in these shoes. Cons: - Heels are too narrow and create a cupping/gap that allows for movement that wears on the shoe (see images), wear on socks and on my heels. I have cracked skin on both heals. - The tread on the shoes wore off in 2-3 runs on soft dirt trails. - The PWRTRAC ICE (rubbery/synthetic cork like material used on the shoes tread) is so easily worn off (see images). - The shoes shape both in the heel and ball of the foot causes pain and rubbing. - The "Waterproof your run" is a joke. I have ran in several other brands that are much much better at keeping moisture out. My feet were wet after 10 minutes of running in rain. Pros: - They are nice to look at.

I bought 21days ago and am returning. Very disappointing the insole/footbed is so high on the sides of the heel, plus it is still ; so it is cupping my heel /squishing it narrower than it should AND my heels are narrow and i where a C or D. Forefoot is fine. I have used Saucony Peregrine trail shoes since the Peregrine 6 and loved them . Wish I could use this shoe but nasty to even walk in it . And it got worse after about 10 wearings around the house .
