Amazing shoe - incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The leather is soft and very well made and the inside is cushion of comfort for your foot. I wear them barefoot and with a thin sock and they go with jeans, kakis or any dress down outfit you wear. I love them.

I purchased, and have worn both the white and black version of this shoe for over a year now. I switch between the two daily depending on my pant color, although both shoes go well with any pant selection (jeans, dress slacks, even shorts). These shoes are the most versatile, comfortable, and classically stylish all-purpose shoes that I own hands down. They are like my Shohei Ohtani of shoes. I have even worn them golfing in an emergency, and they did okay there too. These shoes have enabled me to dial back my shoe count from 10 different pairs to 5, due to the fact that they are so versatile & cozy. Over all shoe wear tear; I find that the leather holds up perfect, though not immune to tough scrapes. The heel wear and tear has been very good, and I typically would go through a pair of Nike's or Vans in 6 months. (outside corners are my main wear point, and these have done very well!) You do need to keep the white rubber cleaned every couple months or so to your liking, but the magic eraser is perfect for a deep clean. I have not treated the leather to this point, but will for sure condition them before winter. After over a year, I still have people asking me if they are new shoes. (Keep in mind I wear them 5-6 days out of the week) Definitely a high price point, but I guarantee once the one's I have wear down I will be buying another pair. So if you're looking for the perfect shoe to replace a sneaker and a casual dress shoe, this one is both. You just have to try them. Break in period you can expect about 1-2 weeks of daily wear and then you will be in the sweet spot. But honestly, these felt amazing from day one out of the box and didn't need much adjusting. Give them a test drive for yourself.

My husband is loyal to the AE brand because of the quality and comfort of their products. I purchased these shoes online knowing that if he had any issues with the style or fit AE would favorably address them. Needless to say, he was not disappointed.

Was looking for a pair of black sneakers after loving the brown. I particularly like the alpha lace ups, great fit and the two tone trim is a classy look, got compliments on them first time wearing them out. I went down 1/2 size and I'm glad I did.

This is an expensive sneaker but is high-quality, typical of Allen Edmonds shoes. It looks very nice, is comfortable, and will likely hold up well to wear and tear. I would buy it again.

These are stylish, comfortable sneakers. I've been wearing Allen Edmond's dress shoes and boots for 20 years. First sneakers, and glad I purchased them. Like them with blue jeans, or dress pants. My wife likes them also.

I bought the shoe for a large "whiteout party" around a large pool. The shoes were very comfortable and blended well with white pants and shirt. Attractive design too.

I loved these shoes right out of the box. Very nice material and well-made--as you would expect for AE shoes. They also look really smart. My main complaint after about 5 wears is that the shoes are not maintaining their silhouette. Granted, my feet are a bit narrow and this sometimes means shoes crease in odd ways around the toe box. The shape returns (mostly) when I put shoe trees in them after wearing, but my feet aren't as robust as the shoe trees, so the kind of collapse again next time I wear them. I would still recommend them and do like how they look and feel.

I bought these sneakers earlier this year and have been getting compliments ever since.Love them from the start very comfortable,stylish and roomy.Can be worn with anything.However a few weeks ago both sneakers started developing air pockets or bubbles in the outsole of the shoes.Still wears them but whenever I go out there's a very uncomfortable feeling every time my feet hits the ground.

The shoe looks great and is a perfect addition to a business casual wardrobe. However make no mistake, the shoe feels / wears more like a dress shoe than a sneaker.

Been buying AE for years. These are not true to their normal last sizing. Wore them thinking they might stretch a bit but now just getting dusty
