There is a substantial amount of spandex in these shirts. I expected more of a cotton feel. Instead, it felt heavy and synthetic.

Compared to the previous version of the pima cotton t-shirt, which had a "regular" fit and which I have purchased several times, this new version was tight - especially in the shoulders and upper arms. My wife says that is the style nowadays - put a little Lycra in it so it will stretch, and then make it tight. But for me, I really like the way the previous version fit, so I gave this one to my teenage son and ordered a new one in the next size up. It hasn't arrived yet. Hopefully, it will be closer to my expectations.

The shirt is as advertised but the material, even though lightweight, is a bit on the flimsy side. At best, it's a three season shirt. I think the shirt is over-priced at $30.00. Drop the price and perhaps I'll order another to wear in the summer. The price is the reason for my three star rating and why I would not recommend to a friend. Traveller 65

Looking for new slightly fitted or slim t-shirts and this one looks and fits great except for the rumpled and wavy top shoulder seams. I washed these in cold and low heat like I do all of my shirts, Kinda disappointed.

I've always bought my T-shirts at L.L. Bean, but this one was a disappointment. I was surprised that the material was much thinner than a 100% cotton shirt, and maybe that's why I didn't like it.

Horrible fit - just tons of fabric flowing and maybe only buy if you have a really large waist and are worried about coverage

Not cut the same as other LL Bean shirts. Medium was borderline small for me.

I recently purchased another of these shirts in XXL, having purchased 3 last year. It was 2 inches longer and much looser. I washed it assuming it would shrink some, which it didn't (a good thing if it was the correct size). It was disappointing since the shirts are perfect for very hot weather. Since it's washed, I can't return it.

Perfect blend. Fits well but the collar was stretched out after one washing.

Bought a few of these to be a staple in my closet. The fabric is nice and the fit is flattering. Sadly, after 6 months to a year the collar wears out and looks bad.

The label says slightly fitted, my arms are normal size and I was stretching the fabric

I had high hopes for this Pima cotton shirt but it failed on all counts. The fabric was thin and felt cheap, not soft like fine cotton. The shirt was not not full cut. It was skimpy in the chest and arms causing pulling across the chest. I definitely would not recommend this product. I ordered three and had to send them all back.

I liked the concept of stretch and initial it was easier to put on and off. Over several uses I found the hems on the sleeves and bottom curled up easily and had to uncurl them. Also, the neck stretched out and stayed mostly that way until washed. I had bought 4 colors all at the same time and all had the same problems.

Comfortable slightly stretchy fabric, but collar is limp. I basically put on LLB color tee shirts more morning than not. Their traditional and less expensive cotton shirts far exceed this product for my needs. I'll continue to by the plain, color cotton shirts but can't recommend the stretch shirts.

Very expensive for Tee Shirt that's collar is wrinkled and bottom of tee rolls up. Should have returned. Finding more and more LL Bean clothing is poorly made and expensive. Last items I will buy from LL Bean

After just one wash the collar became "bacon neck" with multiple ripples. Looks very cheap. So sad, since the rest of the shirt is quite excellent with smooth fabric and good fit. The collar and the rest of the shirt are of two differing qualities. Therefore not worth the price.

Flimsy material. Sleeve's too short. Not as strong as normal t shirts.

The material is nice and soft. It is well made and should not have any problems like seams coming apart. My issue is it shrinks, and when I say shrinks, it really shrinks. Because of how LL Beans shirts fit, usually true to size, I purchased a medium. As instructed I washed it in cold water and dried on low before the first time I wore it. I could see where it had shrunk a little already. After the second wash it has shrunk so badly that it is smaller then a small. My recommendation is to buy at least one size up.

On 5/17/2024 I purchased two Comfort Stretch Pima soft vee neck tee shirts.one in coal, one in dark indigo heather. The heather shirt neck is all stretched out, looks terrible. The coal is mildly stretched out.

Low quality in material for $49.95, if the cost was lower it might be worth the cost.

These shirts are not the same quality I've expected from LL Bean over the years. I washed the shirt exactly as instructed on the label. It shrunk quite a bit and the collar is wavy. I thought that maybe I got a bad shirt. When I asked for a return, they sent me another shirt instead. That one turned out just like the first. I wish they'd just give me my money back. Don't buy this.
