The untucked length works great for my 5'7" husband and at 145# and 32" waist he is not a big guy but at his age, to crib the words of the John Mayer lyric, gravity is working against him so the traditional fit works too to provide the room he needs. He chose the Baked Clay Geo and both color and pattern work well. This is a much lighter weight than the Twill untucked camp shirt (which he also bought and likes) but a more substantial weight than the linen blend untucked shirt (which he thought too light and sent back). This launders well and using cold gentle wash and low dryer until barely damp then hanging to dry the rest of the way it also did not need ironing.

Nice looking shirt. Rugged, stretch fabric. Neat appearance.
Fit was good for me at a medium in shoulders and chest. However the shirt is cut to be a better fit for a more stout person than myself; (5 11, 175, 34 waist) so I am returning. Availability of a a slimmer cut would also be welcome. Otherwise a nice shirt.

You'll need an iron to smooth out the body and sleeve hems.

LOVED the shirt. I was hoping this untucked version would work for my LT husband. However, it did not and went back. Why can't you make these nice patterns for the tall crowd?

To look your best, this shirt should be touched up with an iron when removed from the dryer.

These shirts originally came out with a blend of cotton, tencel (whatever that is?) and linen. Great shirts. Loved them. While I thought it was the "tencel" that made the shirt great, apparently it was the linen that did it. Because now linen has been dropped and these new versions, well, they went from great to just ho-hum. They come out of the dryer wrinkled while the others were ready to wear. Please go back to the original fabrics.

This shirt would be greatly improved with a button down collar. The present collar gets curled and doesn't look neat.

This shirt in a traditional fit runs large. The belly portion is cut for a pot belly and in my case is very baggy and not a good fit at all. Also plan on using an iron to take out wrinkles after removing from the dryer. The fit on different LL Bean shirt is all over the place depending on the shirt. Other large traditional fits are a perfect fit, this shirt looks like a tent. Will be returning

Very nice shirt but...
Extra large usually fits fine, even a bit small. This shirt was WAY too big. Returned.

Stays very wrinkled coming out of the wash. I had to iron it every time it came out of the wash

Good fabric, nicely made, good fit. But should have a straight hem bottom. This feels short and looks like it need to be tucked which was not the pitch.

If you need more room than "RELAXED FIT" then this shirt if for you. Understand that a "CAMP" shirt is somewhat loose fitting to begin with and the material is somewhat thicker than I prefer for a summertime shirt. Very comfortable and does show some wrinkles. Like the color and the pattern.

Nice shirt, but bigger than traditional fit. I'm a big guy, and this shirt is still too big around the middle for me.

this is a nice shirt, very soft and comfortable. for me though it's too much maintenance. I feel like I have to iron it every time I wear it. I'd rather go with a wrinkle free option I can wear, wash, repeat.

I never wore this shirt. After washing one time, it came out so wrinkled that I realized I would have to iron the shirt every time I wore it, and I don't want to do that. So, I returned it.

This shirt is well made, nice material, washes well and looks great. So why not a five star review? Well, it just doesn't fit me well. I've put on a few pounds over the past year, and LL bean's traditional cut is usually a real good fit for me, but this has a much bigger waist than their traditional cut shirts usually have. Also, it's cut shorter so it can be worn untucked, but I'm 6'2" and it keeps pulling out. The large waist issue could be dealt with better if I could keep it tucked inthe way I usually wear my shirts. I wish LL Bean made a tall, slightly tapered version of this shirt, and it would get five stars from me

Fits reasonably well, as one of the seemingly few short-sleeve shirts still sold by L.L. Bean that doesn't have super-short sleeves and tight shoulders.

A lot heavier weight than I expected, but major issue for me is how narrow it is in the shoulders

Sleeves are too short. No idea why Bean shirts all have such short-short sleeves, and this was one of the longer ones. Fabric was less than desirable with junk added to the cotton, otherwise fit was okay. Returning.
