Light weight and warmth combined. I own 3 styles. I now buy them for gifts for family.

I bought this for my 91 year old Dad, for his birthday. He needed another warm layer other than long johns to stay warm here in northern Wisconsin. At first he was reluctant, as it was a new material he wasn't familiar with. But now he wears it nearly everyday, he says it's warm, light, doesn't chafe his neck, and he doesn't have to tuck it into his pants at the waist. Win Win for both of us! I may buy him another one for Christmas!

The name is a good indication: lightweight warm that serves as a mid-layer or an outer-layer depending on conditions. And it works well in either role.

Love these pullovers! Comfortable, warm but lightweight. Can even look a bit 'dressed'. Toss in the washer and dryer...good to go! Would NOT describe as 'slightly fitted'

While it is light is still a good protection against wind and mild cold. Not if the cold is more than that. I would also call it "dressy" meaning that is not excessively informal
