I am somewhat surprised to see so many good reviews. I bought three of these tee shirts and all three were stained shortly thereafter. I have several of the Unshrinkable Tees from LLBean and they are great and do not stain easily. I recommend you buy the Unshrinkable Tee instead.

This shirt is just okay. It is a medium weight shirt, which is what I was looking for, and is hard to find now that everything is mostly light weight and more slinky feeling. But for the size (L), the shirt was a little shorter than my other large t shirts in my closet, and the sleeves are a little wider, so the sizing is not standard, and the length is a little annoying. I don't normally need to buy tall shirts, as I am 6'1". Also, the whole shirt was crooked. I was adding a custom design to the front, and it was impossible to get it lined up evenly because the neck was not in the middle of the shirt, and the bottom of the shirt pulls to the left. It wasn't horrible. If we weren't adding a design to the center we might not have noticed. So it isn't an awful shirt. It is over all just okay, which I feel like is not up to LL Bean's past standards, and for the price it should have been better. But in the post covid world most things are not up to previous standards.

The shirt is good quality but runs very small, my husband had the same size from a few years ago and it was much larger. Item has been returned due to sizing.

Heavier than usual material; feels rougher than usual tee shirt. Best use as outer ware, especially considering higher cost.

Ordered a fitted shirt a few years back and it was great. This shirt is bulky and almost starchy/too stiff
Seems like it will last awhile though. Will see how it is after a few washes.

A nice T, but stain resistance isn't a strong suit.

Most medium shirts fit me just fine, but this was too long in the body and in the sleeves. I had to have them shortened to fit properly.

I'm normally a size large in the shoulders and height, and slender. This shirt is advertised as "fitted" and reviews said it was "tight". So, large should have been perfect. This shirt could have easily fit two of me inside. It would be like wearing a tent. I just wish shirts sizes could accurately describe the fit for body type.

I actually bought the green color which looks a whole lot lighter green on the site than it is in person. Fits okay I guess, but be sure and wash in cold water and dry on low temp if you dry it.

Very comfortable and well made, but sizing is way, way off. I bought 3 XXL shirts. At 250 pounds I expected a tighter fit than this. Shoulders and chest fit well, but shirt balloons at waist. I have a 38 inch waist, and all of these shirts look like they came from a big and tall section as they would fit someone with a much larger waist. Unusually long too. I double checked my order and I did not order "tall". Even so, it hangs a good 8 inches below my belt line. I'll keep these as they are comfortable and can be tucked in, but considering ordering a size smaller and seeing if those fit better. These, as is, do not look good with shorts when worn untucked.

This was ok. Not as nice as the basic LL Bean T. Fabric weight a bit light for my taste, and run a little small.

I purchased and received two of these today, ordered for a friend. Once I opened the package I noticed the clear plastic bag was marked Regular/Large (which is what I ordered) but inside the collar they were labeled "slightly fitted", which won't work. Backtracking, I discovered the note concerning "slightly fitted" on the website only appears by clicking on size & fit in the product details. It would be helpful if that note appeared when selecting the size, or listed in the description header or with the photos. Most everything I've ever ordered lists upfront if the fit is regular, tall, traditional fit, relaxed fit, slightly fitted, etc., etc. and didn't require clicking size & fit details to discover that.

It's unfortunate the unshrinkable t doesn't come slightly fitted, which would be ideal. The neck on this is too small and the stitching breaks easily when trying to take off. Otherwise the fit is great for a slim build.

If the Lakewashed T had the same cut as the Unshrinkable T, then it would be just about perfect because I love the colors. Unfortunately, I really don't like the cut: too tight from the shoulders on down. I'm 5'7", about 145lbs, wearing a small. I'll be sticking with the Unshrinkable T and donating the Lakewashed to charity.

on a hot night, sleeping in this tee shirt is uncomfortable as the neck is too high. i keep trying to find an LLBean tshirt that is comfortable around the next, but no luck. i will have to try elsewhere.
PS...not comfortable on a hot day either, but fine in the dead of winter.

I ordered size medium, as I wear between medium and large and this was described as loose through the chest. When I got the shirt and put it on, the fit was pretty good: snug through shoulders, chest and waist, though the shoulder seam rode a bit in toward the neck. However, the front collar rubbed up against my windpipe - very annoying. Add to that, the color was off: not a vibrant spring green, but a dull gray green. Finally, the fabric finish was uncomfortably hard and synthetic-feeling.

Very comfortable and true to size, but the lakewashed organic tee doesn't seem to hold it's color. I've bought several this year and they all look like the color has been bleached out in some areas. I don't have this issue with any other garments that I've purchased.

No where in the description does it mention that this is a fitted t-shirt. It is fitted and I like my t shirts on the loose side. Also the material is thin, made in China. L.L. Bean's quality has been going downhill for years. Last year I bought a short sleeve shirt and the material was so thin you could see through it. Watch out if the word has "light" in the description. After more than twenty five years of purchasing from Beanie I'm done. I send more orders back than I keep and it doesn't look like Bean is going to step up and offer their customers consistent quality clothes. Shirt TC 506828.

I bought this Organic Lake Washed T-shirt, in hopes that it would fit the same as previous versions. But sadly, it did not. It's about two inches longer than the previous version that I own. Not only that, but I washed it as soon as I received it, and when I went to try it on, I noticed that the collar is already detaching from the rest of the shirt. It's sad, because I love the feel of the material.

Was looking for a replacement for the Pima T shirt, which apparently Bean no longer makes :(. This material is not as soft or comfortable as the Pima. So disappointed, my search continues....

I have an athletic build and usually order medium sized shirts which fit me fine most of the time. The cut of this shirt is a bit boxy and long despite being labeled as slightly fitted. For someone my height, the length of the shirt is too long and the sleeves are too long. A proper T-shirt sleeve should end mid tricep and not within a few inches of your elbow. Chest fit fine. If you are built like me, I recommend the signature fitted T-shirt. It fits much better.
