These shirts are high quality, although, I have not washed them yet. The problem is their sizing. I wear an XL in every brand of clothing- except L.L. Bean. Ordering an XL, the shirts were humongous, so I had to return them for L size. I'm not sure why their sizing is so different than all other brands.

I ordered a medium to wear as an oversized shirt with leggings (female, 5'5", 140lbs). It fits perfectly and is very soft. The sleeves were baggy at first but most definitely shrunk to fit me perfectly in the arms.

Not for me. The shirt itself was too big and the sleeves were a little short which mixed me getting a smaller size. The return was easy!!

The bright color did not bleed on first wash. It stayed the same size, but I took a star off because, the material below the collar stated to wrinkle up a little after just 1 wash.

I would have given this tee shirt five stars, but the sizing is so huge. I ordered the small but had to give it away to a relative who is normally a medium. L.L. Bean should specify "oversized" on items that are not traditional fit. The quality of the tee is fine.

Lovely color! Since I can't find a short-sleeve or long-sleeve t-shirt with a crew neck in LLBean women's sizes (the necks labeled as 'crew' in women's are too wide to be crew - men's t-shirts have the authentic crew neck), I'm reduced to buying men's small and drying them on high heat. The length shrinks just a bit, leaving the shirt kind of a tunic length, which is fine with me!

Comfortable, high-quality fabric.
Initially ordered a large regular because the L.L. Bean person on the phone suggested that size based on my dress shirt measurements: 15 1/2" neck, 35" sleeve. That shirt fit reasonably well, with the sleeves being barely long enough. After washing, however, the sleeves shrank 1 inch and were too short. I exchanged it for a large tall, which, after washing, shrank 1 inch and again, fits reasonably well, with the sleeves being barely long enough. It's acceptable and the fabric tends to stretch with wearing, but an additional half inch in the sleeve would be better. For a large tall size, it's interesting that the sleeves are still a little short. I think you should make them longer.
Returning and exchanging it were easy and the shipping was free because of the L.L. Bean credit card.

Great quality - 'thick' cotton material - good fit - no shrink - color retained - very little wrinkling when removed from dryer promptly. Thank you for 'building' this fine long sleeve tee shirt.

This is a soft, slightly stretchy T. I like the color. I'm 6'8" and the Large Tall fits pretty well, though I wish the sleeves were an inch longer for my 37" sleeve length. As usual, I don't expect any shrinkage or pilling, as with my dozens of other LL Bean Ts and polos.

I recently bought two M-reg size Unshrinakble T-shirts. One fits fine, however the other is cut much tighter in the sleeves, but not quite to the point that I am sending it back.

I own at least a dozen various types of Bean shirts - tees, overshirts, flannels, chambrays, etc. and I am a medium in every single men's shirt except this one. Not only did it shrink, but it isn't stretchy so you can't stretch it back out. Sure, you can pull on it some, but it won't stay there. Within a few minutes it has sprung back to shrunken and too small. I tried hanging to dry and stretching it then, but no go. This just isn't normal t-shirt material. Not that it isn't nice, it's good quality, but I don't have any others tees that shrink like this and then refuse to stretch back out. I suppose I'll try a Large since I really need this color to go with my teal-colored Bean shirts. But shirts that shrink like this should be sized to allow it. And probably not be called unshrinkable.

This shirt is made of a thicker cotton and is well-made.. I purchased it in Large-Tall size to be a sleep shirt, and it fits me like a tunic since I'm a 5'7" woman. I was hoping for the cuffs and neck to be a bit looser,. I can't push up the sleeves at all and the neckline chokes me sometimes. I wonder how it fits a large, tall man!

It is a great product but the sleeves were at least an inch too short. Not made for skinny tall men.

These are excellent t-shirts, but they run large and are blocky in cut (I am 5' 9", 160 lb and normally take a large, but I had to re-order mediums). I wear them as undershirts in cold weather so I'd like to have a slightly more trim cut.

Initially the fit was very good. Material is perfect against skin. Neck fit good, and sleeve length was also excellent. Then drying shrunk the sleeves a bit. So beware when it says unshrinkable. Not totally true. I rewashed and stretched the sleeves, letting dry naturally, and it is better. My arm length is one reason I order tall.

I bought two of these at the same time (different colors). They're very nice in all areas (fabric, color, style, feel, etc), but one is much longer than the other in the body. So much so that it's awkward to wear it untucked.

I wear these shirts as outerwear. Finally ordered replacements for the couple of shirts I've worn weekly for 7-8 months of the year for the last seven years. The old ones are still wearable for chores around the house. The new shirts seem to be just as well made. They have been through a half dozen washings each and have not shrunk, have kept their shape and color. I'm pleased so far. I ordered xl. I'm 5'11", 220 lbs.

It's supposed to be tall, and indeed the length of the shirt is for a tall person, but the arms are shorter than I expected. Very comfortable.
