I've been ordering this item for many years but on my last order the product had a few changes that don't work for me. The cotton material is more billowy, sort of like a thin flannel, than the traditional feel of your cotton for T-shirts. Also the sizing seems to have changed and the sleeves are too long. This new batch is just too billowy and long! I guess I will use my last order of these as "sleepers" this winter, but that was not my intention. I did notice that all of these that I have ordered previously were made in China but this new order was made in Vietnam.
I'm attaching an example pic of my previously ordered Ts (on the left), and one from my most recent order (right side). See the difference in size.
When are you going back to your standard long sleeve cotton T that I have loved so much over the years???

This is supposed to be 100% cotton, but after a few washes the fabric is getting fuzzy and scratchy like a synthetic shirt. I only bought this this shirt style because the previous cotton shirt style I purchased and wanted to reorder is no longer available.

I love the color and quality of these long sleeve T-shirts and I like it that they are made of stretchy material. What I do not like is that they are not true to size. The sleeves are huge and droopy and the shoulder area is larger than a regular XL. I look like a bag of rags in this shirt.

I have bought Unshrinkable Tees for years, both long and short sleeves. The two long sleeve Tees I bought in December are a HUGE disappointment. The new stretchy fabric is less comfortable and creates a lot of static. The tag says 100% cotton but it doesn't have the look or feel of cotton. If you are a long term fan of these Tees, be prepared to be disappointed and save your packing slip for a returns.

Bought large based on size guide, but it is too big and boxy, not comfortable when wearing under sweater.

Loose, oversize fit through the body and arms and a tiny, tiny neck opening. If I move my head at all it digs into my throat... but with extra tent-like "I should have gone a size down" amount of fabric everywhere else. Unwearable.

Ive owned 10 to 12 of these over the past several years and they always fit perfectly. Unfortunately the last two are considerably larger, and no longer fit well. Apparently the supplier must have changed. Whatever the reason, I will not likely order again because of the fit.

Shirt fit quite well overall but I found the ends of the sleeves uncomfortably tight, and the collar was also tight. Ended up returning.

I have a 44" chest. These large-size Tshirts were supposed to fit 42-44. Way too BIG

Ordered Large Long following sizing chart for my height. At 6'2" this was mid thigh for me, way too long. I returned the shirt and selected an exchange for a Large Regular which was processed on 1-17. I'm being sent a gift card instead which is yet to arrive 2 weeks later.

This is a nice classic heavy t shirt whose sleeve and body length is closer to a Tall size than Regular size. I liked the relaxed fit but felt like I was wearing a night shirt or shroud instead of a t-shirt.

These are NOT unshrinkable! Just bought new one and compared to last years. Lost at least an inch in length!

Nice material but the fit was wrong, the upper arm area looked ready for a body builder.

I have 7 of these long sleeve T-shirts. This new shirt is mis-sized - fits like a large not medium. The fabric is lighter weight and a inferior grade. I have been in the the garment industry for 40 years (now retired) Your merchandising team apparently changed suppliers to seek a lower price. It was a mistake and will result in lost sales.

Not heavy enough to wear without layers and not light enough to wear without. The breast pocket was nice but unnecessary and not functional. It missed the mark as a sweatshirt.

I've been buying Bean clothing, including long sleeve T-Shirts for years and years. Fit was fine. But this item is ill-fitting. The sleeves are voluminous -- poofy (like in the Seinfeld episode), and it appears the shoulders are too roomy as well. (I fall well within the Medium, Regular size. 40 inch chest.)

I've been buying these for years and have a bunch of them. Last order I got three different colors. The material in the black shirt seems thinner/cheaper than normal. Hoping this is a fluke and not a trend.

Returned. I tried one of these because they stopped carrying the slightly fitted ones, which are my favorites. This fit like a tent. Shoulders were a slim fit, not to roomy, and then I could have fit two of me in the bottom. Flares out like a tent (almost like a woman's shirt), makes me look 20 pounds heavier and pear shaped. Also didn't care for the hemming at the wrists, pretty tight, which gave the sleeves an extra puffy look. Not a good fit at all. If you are bigger around the middle than at the shoulders, this is probably a great fit. The material is nice, comfy and soft, but I couldn't get past the fit. If they don't bring back the slightly fitted tees, I'll have to look elsewhere.

I thought this would be a good casual long-sleeve Tee, but the fit is a little off. The bottom of the arm holes are about halfway down the body of the shirt which then movement when worn is awkward at best and not very comfortable.

Purchased these carefree tees in the past. They were always so soft, not this time. Very rough feeling, seems fabric has changed. Disappointing

I ordered the size I would normally order for a regular short sleeve t-shirt. I was way too large.

I have been purchasing these (with pockets) for a number of years. But last couple purchases I note that the quality has taken a downturn and the color offerings are, at best, bland, at this point. Note also, LL Bean, the wrist band should not be the same diameter as the shirt - that defeats the purpose of it. Another suggestion about the wrist band: make the shirts so that the wrist band actually remains attached to the shirt. These are a couple of quality issues that I am noting
