I have five or six of these and after a few washings the collars get wrinkly out of shape. Not LL Bean quality

I have been purchasing these shirts for years. However, lately I have had to return them twice over the past 6 mos because even though I wear a reg medium the current batch is 2 inches longer and about 2 inches wider. Too large. Too bad I can't shrink them down. I tried a small and it is too small so I am left without being able to replace my existing reg medium shirts. Inconsistent sizing from foreign manufacturers.

The shirt fit well and was well made, but the fabric coating to make it wrinkle free also made it nonabsorbent. I wore it while working out and the sweat beaded up on the inside of the shirt. Cold, wet and clinging as I moved - very uncomfortable. Shirt is OK for casual wear, but not good for exercise or physical work.

I ordered a T-shirt with a pocket, but to my disappointment the one sent lacked one. I had specifically asked for a pocketed T-shirt (and would prefer it to be a V-neck) but LL Beans apparently no longer consider customer satisfaction important. This was not an unreasonable request. They have all sorts of quirky products in their repertoire.

I ordered this T shirt in a medium based on the fact that a) that's what was indicated by LL Bean's sizing chart and b) all my other T shirts are either a medium or a large. When it arrived, the T shirt was absolutely huge -- at least one size bigger than any LARGE shirt I already own. After discussing this by phone with a nice customer service person, I returned it with a letter explaining the problem and requesting that I not be charged for the return shipping if in fact there was some sizing error with this particular shirt. In fact I was charged for shipping both ways, with no further acknowledgment of the problem. Not a lot of money was involved, but it's a very disappointing experience. It's hard for me to see how the company will continue to compete with the big online retailers.

Nice material and color choices, but cut way too large. I wear a medium in every T shirt I own, from a variety of makers, but this one swims on me. Even if it did shrink, it could never shrink enough to fit properly.

For M size, too large bulky thought that as cotton shirt would shrink some, not the case. very dissapointing.I was looking for a more tighter fit, not a construction workers fit.

T-shirt was not supposed to shrink and I washed and dried directed on label. I wasted my money on both the dock shorts and t-shirts.

Apparently LL Bean no longer makes tee shirts in shorter lengths. Both your medium-regular (and medium-long) are too long to wear not tucked in for me. (I'm 5' 8" tall) I'm wearing an old LL Bean tee that is fine. Why no medium-short?

Non-absorbent cotton leaves my sweat uncomfortably collecting in my skin. So disappointing and uncomfortable. Awful, actually. Do not buy!!!!!

Whole reason I purchased it was because it was unshrinkable, but it still shrunk. Very disappointed.

I bought this and a long sleeve version based on the many positive reviews. Maybe if you wear a small size, they are okay. They certainly seem like well made shirts of nice material, but I felt like I was being strangled. I have never tried a shirt with such a constricting neck. Now I have to pay $6.50 to return it for the privilege of just trying on one of their poorly cut shirts. It doesn't make me want to order from LL Bean again.

I bought 4 shirts each a different color. After 1 or 2 washes the color washed out on 3 of them in exactly the same spot. The dye job was very poor. I would not buy this product again.

Purchased 2 size L-Regular in different colors. They are clearly 2 different lengths right out of the package. The green one fits well, but the purple is clearly 2 inches shorter. Wanted to order more in other colors, but cannot trust the quality control so returned them both and will look elsewhere.

I have purchased several of these T-shirts and none of them fit the same and are DEFINITELY NOT stain resistant!

Quality has gone down on the Men's Carefree Unshrinkable Tee with pocket. After a couple washings the neckline starts to stretch out and it starts tattering. Soon afterwards the hemline and sleeve edges start tattering. It's like they are using very old or very poor quality material. These used to be great T-shirts, but no longer. Hope they will improve quality. For now, we'll buy elsewhere.

These shirts have some type of moisture repellent that traps sweat inside the shirt. Doesn't go away after 4 or 5 washings. Unfortunately, I purchased 7 of them. I'm giving mine to Goodwill.

I don't normally leave reviews, but after buying 10 of these tshirts and wearing them for 6 months or so, I feel it necessary to write this. After about 6 months the collars are beginning to fade noticably, which for a $25 dollar T-shirt is terrible However my biggest concern with this shirt is if you sweat in it in hot weather there is ZERO absorption of water. I can literally take a glass of water and pour it on the shirt and it beads off! The reason I buy all cotton tshirts is because they breathe and absorb moisture and then dry quickly. If you are hoping for that, stay away from these, they say 100% cotton, but I never have had a 100% cotton tshirt behave like a synthetic before I bought these. Your sweat gets stuck between your back and the shirt and is the worst sticky feeling I have ever had in a tshirt. I will be returning all of them.
Disappointed,

These aren't the same t-shirts my husband has been wearing for years. They are making them a lot smaller. I ordered 2 and one of them was a size smaller. Customer service was nice enough to send another shirt but the same thing happened again to small. The medium is like a small size. Now I have to pack up 2 shirts to mail back. I don't know if it is worth the effort. Next time I will buy them in a store to check sizing.

This shirt seemed great in all ways until I washed it. After one wash and wear, the neck stretched out as badly as the Jockey shirts I have been wearing for years. Very disappointing.

I ordered 6 white t-shirts.They are a off white with yellow. They look terrible. Like a old sweaty white shirt. I'm very disappointed. White should be white.
