Unfortunately I have found the quality of Bean's t-shirts to be variable depending on the country of manufacture. My most recent purchase was sized smaller in the sleeves than any of my prior purchases. I have moved to another company for my t-shirt purchases recently but tried once again for a specific color. Still disappointed overall so I will not be purchasing Bean t-shirts in the future.

I gave this three stars because of two reasons. 1) These are mid-to-heavy weight t-shirts. I didn't fully realize what mid-to-heavy weight t-shirts meant. 2) The shirts are supposed to be unshrinkable but they shrunk after the first wash about an inch or two smaller across the board. The neck especially became very tight after the second wash.

The material is nice and soft. What my husband doesn't like is that the ribbing on the neckline is very wide. It is too much material around the neck for comfort and how it looks

Shirt is great except for the neck. It is cut really small for an X-Large shirt and is very uncomfortable. Don't think i can order anymore.

Great shirt! My husband has worn these for decades. I gave it 3 stars instead of 5 because we have noticed a weakness where the pocket is sewn on at the top. After some wear a small hold has formed in several of these tees.

I ordered my husband large shirts first and they were too big. Then I got him mediums and they were the right fit. Right when he put it on, he started pulling at the neck and said the hole was too small. I sent the shirts back.

No shrinkage at all and the weight of the shirt is good. However the statement that it is stain resistant is not a true statement. He got food on it, we pretreated stain and the stain did not come out.

Three stars because the pocket eventually shrinks. A 3 x 5 notepad starts out with only the spiral binding showing and 20-washings later, the pocket shrank, and now the tablet rises up an 1-inch above the top of the pocket. My t-shirts were washed many times, and always with DowneyUltraSoft, contrary to the advice on the Bean label that says "Don't use fabric softener" - but not 'why", so I didn't take it seriously.

Shirt is well-made, and it's a good fit. However, the color is not what I had expected.

Great shirt for the price but the only thing I can find wrong is these shirts do not breathe and I feel the seat running down my body. I buy these on a regular basis as they don't shrink and hold their shape great!

Its an ok shirt; nothing special, one thing I've noticed about L.L.Bean MENS t shirts, they shrink in length, this is very annoying.

Two holes in the fabric near the collar. Otherwise okay. First time I have received a defective item from LLBean. Will not deter me from future purchases.

Beautiful blue color, but it is permanently ruined. Some oil-based food stain got on the front, and even after spot cleaning and soaking it several times, the stains would not budge. I've never seen 100% cotton stain like this. Not carefree at all!

I don't know what process was used on this fabric, but when I sweat outside or exercising it feels like the shirt is made of polyester. Other cotton shirts i have absorb the sweat, but this fabric almost seems to act as a barrier making it very uncomfortable during exertion.

I own about 8 of them over a period in 2020. It's not an inexpensive T-Shirt. Color, comfort and fit are not an issue. What is an issue is that the collar stretches out at the neck, and after a while you look like the guy in the tv commercial with the stretched out neck on the $5 shirt, which this isn't.

We ordered several tee shirts in different colors. Later we were informed that most of them are on back order. We should have been informed when we ordered. Also one one the 3 we got is quite a bit longer than the other 2. Actually we have not yet received the blue shirt pictured

I ordered 2 of these shirts for my husband & son to wear for work. They look great, wash great, & they fit is good. The problem with the shirts is they do not breathe. The guys were these & the sweat just rolls off & the shirt does not breathe. They do not like them for working in, but as a casual every day shirt they would be good just not to work in.

I am a large in every brand I buy but bought a large LL Bean and it is about 20% larger than all other brands I purchase so beware and you should try on before removing tags. I did not follow my own advise and feel I now have a shirt I'll never wear.

For many years I have purchased/worn LL Bean tees for home office and out/about as I live in Las Vegas and work from a home office. LL Bean polos are my go to for dress. Unfortunately for the past 2 years, the tees neck band become wrinkled like a cooked bacon strip. LL Bean replace 3 of my tees, no problem. But now the replacement tees and others that I have purchased recently have the same problem. The tees excluding the neck issue are just great as always. But the bacon strip neck makes them unwearable in public.

The T shirt is great. However I wish quality control had spotted the 1/2 in. tear in the back which had been sewn over.

I've purchased before like t shirts but last one was repaired by someone. Must have been small hole and it was stitch together

I ordered 6 shirts on June 14. I received 5. Where is my coral gold colored shirt? How can I be happy with a purchase when it takes over a month (so far) to receive it!
