From a couple of reviews of this tee I was half expecting it to feel "synthetic" and to cause me to break out in a sweat upon donning the shirt. In fact, the material feels quite nice, the shirt is cut generously and true to size and is quite comfortable for all day wear. I did find that my one dark olive shirt, (I'm awaiting fulfillment of a second via backorder), seemed to have a few areas where, for lack of a better term, the material was either pulled, pilled or otherwise blemished. No holes or threads exposed, but perhaps an issue down the road. Hopefully not. I'll agree with a recent review that more color choices would be nice...particularly in the deeper reds and dark hunter or forest greens. Overall, I'm quite pleased with these, especially when purchased at a nice discount during the occasional sale supplemented with my L.L. Bean Visa coupons.

I absolutely love these shirts. I must have at least 20 of them. I have noticed 2 things that might help others. Some complain about the sauna effect, for me this is overcome by washing in cold water and not using water softner either in the wash or in the dryer. Now I have said this in the past and continue to state, PLEASE have more greens, I look good in blue but green is my favorite color and you hardly have any at all.

This are the best tees I have ever owned and the only ones I wear after discovering them. My only complaint is that the collars wear out and become ragged long before the rest of the tee does. Actually, I have never had one wear out except for the collar.

Have been wearing these shirts for years, both short and long sleeve. Still give them 5 stars for all the usual reasons, but it seems that the choice of colors keeps diminishing.

Great tee shirt. Flat seams, ultra soft feel and a great fit, I have two other like it. Unfortunately I mistook it for ones I had purchased a year ago(CRS)that had a more textured feel. It is 'only' the fact that I mistakenly thought it was a different shirt that I am sending it back.

These tees are remarkable. They wash great with no fading or shrinking. They are comfortable and hold their shape.

These shirts are perfect to size. The shirts come out of the washer and drier wrinkle free. Been wearing them for years.

Have used these shirts for quite awhile. They actually do resist shrinking and fading.mthey are slightly more heavy thank a standard tee. One recommendation I would make is to always order the tall. I find it tucks in quite a bit deeper and eliminates the dreaded creep up.

My husband just spilled soy sauce all over this shirt and when he wiped it up with a napkin it literally DISAPPEARED! Not a spot left . We didn't realize the shirt was stain resistant and were truly stunned. We looked up the shirt and item number and found this page. Amazing technology! And comfortable, soft shirt too!

The Carefree Unshrinkable Tee is very comfortable and fit great. I have thinking of more shirts.

The Tall version of these Tee Shirts is perfect for those like me that have grown wider around the middle and the reg Tee rides up around your midsection when lifting your arms. I know I should loose the weight, but until then... Otherwwise these are GREAT shirts, LOVE the material!

Used to buy xxxxx xxx T's - good shirts, but they do shrink some (everybodys shrink some)-- I probably over dry stuff, but these "unshrinkable" t's really are unshrinkable - I'd like to know how they manage it - they are 100% cotton - they're perfect for overweight characters like me, whose shirts shrink, then won't stay tucked in...

I've purchased other t-shirts but keep coming back to these....they hold up and they fit...my favorite. Waiting for LL Bean to offer more colors.

It's a plain white, 100% cotton t-shirt that doesn't shrink. Don't over think it.

I have one large drawer with LLBean short sleeve pocket tees and one large drawer with long sleeve. I wear alone or as undershirt almost every day. With an over shirt the pocket provides a secure place for an iPod or business card holder and short pen. Things stay put when bending over. With over shirt the music player ear bud wire management is great....out of the way and out of harm's way. Great on crowded train and bus or working in the yard and shop. No accidents. While I wish for a pocket deep enough to take standard index cards I realize this might not be popular with a larger audience. For years I've bulk trimmed 3/4" off my note cards and all's well. I consider these shirts as essential gear and yes...I'm an functional wear gear head but still have sense for style and color. New Olive Heather is beautiful color. Can't wait to get this in long sleeve too.

Great fitting shirt comfortable lightweight and breathable

Tee shirts are not very exciting to write about but these do last, fit and wash just fine. My husband has had them before and despite heavy wear and frequent washing they last for years.

My husband needed some new tee shirts desperately. I knew that LL Bean carried the best quality because of all the great shirts he's gotten from there. I wasn't wrong. He wears a XXL Tall and they were a perfect fit. Soft, long enough. They wash well. I washed in cool water and dried on low heat. No shrinkage. The best part is that he really likes them. That's the important thing. Although there are several colors, I wish there were more, I would have gotten all his favorite colors. I highly recommend.

Fabric and construction quality is best on the market. Would request one change: shorten length by approx 2" and maybe add side vents so that the shirt wears better untucked. Otherwise great shirt.

After trying my first Carefree Unshrinkable Tee, I order more. I now have both short and long sleeve. These shirts are by far the most comfortable tee shirts I have ever owned, very soft, yet very durable. And as the name implies, they launder well and don't shrink. I hope L.L. Bean continues to offer these amazing shirts forever.
