The jacket will do well in the fall and winter. However, it is too light for winter use.

An excellent light weight jacket but the sleeves are way to long for me.

This is a very good jacket. My wife thinks it looks good on me. It seems well made. It fits well. My only problem with it is the inside pocket. The zipper for the inside pocket is parallel to the left side zipper at about chest level. The pocket is deep enough but the opening is a little small, so I have to put my billfold in first and then my cellphone. When I have my billfold and cellphone in the pocket, the left side of the jacket sags a little bit. If the pocket was a more conventional inside pocket, this would not happen. Anyway, this is a nice jacket. I shopped a long time before I bought it and I don't regret buying it.

The 3 season jacket is a decent add to my coat collection for those cool days when a heavier jacket isn't needed. The quality is good but it is not what it use to be from say 5 years back. There are a few nits to note. First, the cuffs are a bit loose for general wear. If you have heavier clothing underneath or longer sleeves this may not be an issue, but this reviewer found it not the best fit. Second, and this is aesthetics; why so many bright tags and logos letting the world know the jacket is from LL Bean. It's not needed. Keep it clean and simple otherwise offer the wearer a discount to be a walking billboard.

Purchased the Large Tall and it fits nicely (I'm 6'6" 210lbs). I was afraid the fleece lining would make this jacket heavier but it's a nice light weight.

As advertised, did NOT NEED a logo tag on every zipper. Made it look like it had blotches. I cut them off.

This jacket was lighter than I expected, but it does well as a windbreaker. The fit is a little tight around the chest; watch size closely.

It's a lot thinner than I expected. Quality and details are fine. Inside zip pocket needs more depth and a better location.

Used for golf as a layer on a cold windy day. Kept the wind out. Loose fitting enough to swing a golf club but a little short and tended to ride up in the back. I"m 6" tall and could have used a "Tall" which was not available.

I like it its very light and easy to wear, I bought it to replace another one that was insulated with Thinsulate, it was very warm. This one is lined with fleece that's not as warm, but I still like it, my wife told me to send it back, but I decided to keep it, but I won't buy another one online.

Overall nice Jacket. Maybe it could be a big warmer, but it's OK. I like that it's not one of those "collar up" jackets, which I don't prefer at all.

Great coat. I just wish it had a collar to turn up in the wind

Nice well made jacket, but too many LL Bean tags. I took them off.

This is really a two season jacket (Spring / Summer). It is definitely not insulated for Fall in the North East. This is more like an outer shell layer for the Fall season. Great color way combination thought!

The cuffs are too loose to hold the sleeve at the wrist where it belongs, causing the sleeve to fall to midpalm and make the entire jacket look sloppy and ill conceived. Otherwise, this is a quality product, exactly what I was looking for in a lightweight, 3 season jacket.

First, the good. I like the overall look of the jacket, especially the baseball collar, which I would like to see on more jackets and pullovers, rather than the currently fashionable stand-up collars. The shell material is comfortable and seems fairly rugged. Good cuffs and waist. The cut is straight and doesn't make you look like the Michelin man any more than you already do. The two provisos: 1. The soft lining is confined to the torso. That means no insulation in the arms or pockets, which is a big mistake in my book. I suspect that LLBean was trying to cut costs, and it comes at a price in terms of the jacket's comfort and warmth. 2. These jackets are sized small-- definitely order a size up from what you normally wear. I usually wear a large, but thank goodness I read other reviews and ordered an XL.

The jacket is light and warm. It is excellent quality. Perfect for traveling. With 4 L. L. Bean logos on the front and sides and1 inside on the back no one wonders where it came from. Perhaps 2 L.L.Bean logos on the front and sides would suffice.

The jacket was good quality the only problem there was no sleeve lining. During 55 deg. day in the sun your arms would sweat. In the evening same temperature your arms would freeze.

Great design, texture, and style. I wish it was slightly more tapered and fitted. A little large in the sleeves and cuffs.

Nicely made. The sleeves are longer than I'm accustomed to in size LL B's large.

The jacket is excellent. The reason for only four stars is the addition of too many logos.
