Great fitting pullover, which is why I gave it 3 stars. However, the issue I have is that the material is not an antimicrobial type of material. Any activity results in a smell that is best described as body odor. LL Bean needs to explore those materials more, as I would prefer that to the existing Fleece materials they rate using.

The sleeves are to long. I have a 32 1/2" sleeve length. This fleece has 35" sleeve length & elastic in the cuffs is huge.

The fit is very odd. The sleeves were extremely long

Great quality pullover, very thick and plush. However, I am 6 ft. tall and it was about two inches too short for my liking so I returned it.

I ordered xxl for a loose fit based on your sizing chart. Sleeve length was not asked. Fits perfect after having five inches of sleeve alteration @$50. My last two Bean pullovers have lasted 10-12 years and I am still wearing them. L.L. Bean stands for quality products and great customer service. Thanks !!

As the title suggests, the pullover is very well made but far too thick for general wear or stuffing into a backpack. L.L. Bean fleece garments that I've purchased in the past aren't so thick and are fine. This one however, is like a heavy fleece blanket sewn into a garment. Nice design, but just too thick.

I have a similar LL Bean fleece pullover that I've had for several years. I wear it when I'm jogging or power walking in the wintertime in the western Maine mountain region. It's lighter weight than the Katahdin, but it's just right if worn with a turtleneck underneath it. I wanted a new replacement that might be slightly warmer on really cold days...The material and workmanship of the Katahdin is excellent, with one exception. The neck is far too big and way out of proportion to the rest of the pullover, which made it unsuitable for cold weather runs and walks. As a result, I had to return it.

Nice heavy fleece however I'd have preferred the trim was the same color as the as the body.

Very soft and a good quality. However, the size is extremely off. I I ordered a large size but it felt like a XL. Sleeves were too long, had to return it. It was made for a big and tall physique.

The fit was spot on. The color was good. The thickness of the material was thinner than most polartech fleece I've purchased as a result the collar was flimsy and was a nuisance. I returned it for that reason.

Difficult to take off. Very nice jacket for those who are very flexible. Had to return it and order a full zipper model.

Soft, warm, comfortable...BUT, the large, floppy, unstructured collar is annoying. I'm constantly trying to flatten it down and get it to stay in place.

I never thought my slender husband would find something too narrow for him, but this was cut too narrow. He also didn't likes the seam across the chest. Very warm, though!

Was hoping this would be reminiscent of the old classic fleece pullovers. The colors offered were the most attractive part. Unfortunately, the fabric feels cheap and does not hold it's shape. The hem is too wide and stuck out like a bell shape. Neck height was nice and the deep zipper would be good for temperature control. Tried the burgundy and the gold and the colors were excellent.

Usually wear XL but this is too big. Paying $6.50 for return is one thing but I have to have a printer to print return label. Guess I've wasted money. Won't buy from Bean again

I got this as a gift. I don't like this type of fleece material. It looks matted. It sheds too. I prefer the classic fleece pullover than this one.

A warm and comfortable garment, but one omission has led me to seek a fleece elsewhere: lack of elastic on the bottom hem. There's elastic on the cuffs but not on the bottom of the garment. As a result, it stretches and never returns to its original fit, so now the bottom of the garment is much too loose and feels awkward. The piling of this fleece is, in my opinion, much warmer and more comfortable than other fleece sweaters I've tried, but unfortunately it's become quite unusable after a month of regular wear.

Perfect for lounging around the house or outside when the weather is not cold. The fleece is only useful in 45+ degrees in wind. The fleece is very thin and does not have a rugged look. The wind goes right through it. Perfect for indoors. I bought it knowing there was no drawstring but realize that it would be very nice to have one. For me - the size is perfect and I like the colors. (Tall/Large)(but I have short legs and a very long torso and arms)

Beautiful colors and trim. I do love it. Two star review because it is the second one I received and the fleece pills up badly along the sides.
