I Had an older light jacket I kept in my SUV, and wanted something newer and lighter. After reading the other reviews on this jacket, plus reading the info that was provided about it, I went ahead and bought it. Was very impressed with how lightweight it is when it arrived. It is a lot lighter than my old one. The first time it rained and I put it on, I was impressed again on how light it felt while wearing it. Temp outside when it was raining was upper 70's, and I was not hot at all wearing this jacket. I highly recommend it.

Great jacket for our climate.
Water repellent and fits over a light fleecy.
Great for travelling.
Would certainly recommend to others

I've been looking for an affordable lightweight waterproof jacket for a while. Not only has it exceeded my wishes, it's surprisingly warm too. I can see next winter wearing a Bean light sweater with this jacket for most of the time.

I bought one of these a while back and decided to get a second because I wore the first very often. I recommend buying this jacket but, the sizes run a bit large where I decided to purchase a small instead of a medium

My normal size is large and I knew this is slightly fitted and it fit but there was not enough room in it so I ordered it in extra large and it is perfect. The look is great and the weight is perfect for the cool mornings.

Just what I needed, a jacket for cool mornings, very light weight, good wind break, good zipper, big pockets. The only negative is that It doesn't have inside pockets.

I have the pullover version of the same jacket and decided to get the full zip version. Two side pockets with a zippered pocket within one the side pockets. The hood is large. Keeps me dry. Lightweight so you don't get hot when it's warm outside.

Great lightweight spring jacket. Got this for an upcoming vacation to Gatlinburg, TN but have been wearing now. good for rain or no rain. LLBean just has really good quality for everything. Never disappointed.

I'm glad you started offering this in a full jacket. I have several of your supplex shorts and like how the material feels and holds up. I'm 6'4", 270, and the slightly fitted is great in the waist, but snug in the chest, shoulders and arms. Overall, I enjoy the jacket and will purchase another in a different color.

Great fitting light jacket. Perfect for cooler, breezy weather here in southern California. Will get more use out of it on return visits to New England.

Throwback layer to the 80's. Just a windbreaker, but that's just what I wanted. Good hood. Good zipper. Kangaroo pockets have no zippers, but that saves you some money. Get used to it and it's fine.

I purchased the navy blue version online. The quality seems excellent and is very stylish. I went with a large and think that is the perfect size for my height and athletic build. If you are my height and thin (160 or below), go to a size medium would be my suggestion, otherwise its best to go to a store if one is near you to be sure.
Don't expect this to keep you warm in cold weather, however. It is what it is...a rain/windbreaker to keep some of the elements off you in the Spring/Summer/early Fall. If you want something warm, look elsewhere or layer underneath.

The Mountain Classic is the perfect weight for a cool summer evening or a cool fall day. I used it this March in Florida for early morning walks on the beach. I like the full zipper style and the fact it packs easily for travel.

Great light rain coat. Fits a little snug through the shoulders, had to go from an XL Tall to a XXL Tall and it fits perfectly. I generally wear an XLT with all LL Bean shirts. The kelp green is a beautiful color and goes very well with dark jeans or navy pants. It's well made and feels very light, but durable. The stitching feels very strong to the touch.

I bought this and the stowaway windbreaker thinking I'd try them both and return one. I kept this one. I like these things more : better fit. Large fits well with just a T shirt but if I want to layer with a flannel or vest no problem. Fabric has a bit of stretch, I like the retro styling with the leather keepers and cord ties. What I would improve : make the hood stowable. I modified mine with some velcro peel and sticks so I can roll the hood into a collar when not in use. Add a zippered pocket to the rear like the stowaway windbreaker or at least an inside security pocket. The zipper pocket on the right hand warmer pocket is nice though. All around happy with this for 3 season hiking.

The original Anorak, updated w a full zipper, more convenient now.
Just needs 'more pockets' outside & inside, to be outstanding.

Comfortable and fits well. Roomy enough for layering. Reasonably priced. Would be nice if there was in interior pocket for cell phone or travel documents.

A bit lighter weight than I expected, although it is a fine windbreaker and rain jacket. the description says you need a light undergarment, when really there is no liner. that means you should have a thicker and warmer layer to make up for it. Still, fits well and is big enough too, a plus!

Lightweight, pairs nicely with a sweater for cool weather. Fits well yet seems to run a little small for an XL.

Very nice, well made, sturdy men's lightweight (unlined) jacket. BUT it runs very small. My husband should be a small but couldn't even zip it up.

So far this jacket has met expectations. The quality is excellent. The jacket runs large. I'm 5'10" at 165-170lbs and ordered the medium. It's roomier than I had hoped. I'd order a small if I were to purchase again.
