I love all things Smartwool. I especially liked this Black Forest print. I would have taken the review down one star because this top runs VERY small (like 2 sizes too small), but I won't because the print was available in plus sizes so I could get a bigger size. And kudos to Smartwool for having the nice prints in the plus sizes. I haven't been a plus size for many years, but previously it was frustrating that manufacturers would only have very basic colors available in plus sizes.

Want to use it as a regular sweater and a base layer so ordered it in a larger size. Very flattering to my full figure. Love the neckline; not too high or tight. Very comfortable fit. Colours are lovely and vibrant.

I got the one with blue and gray stripes and the one with pink/purple mountains. They are both amazing! They're soft and thick and look great under things or by themselves. I am a curvy hourglass shape and these shirts fit perfectly. I have other merino long sleeve tees from woolx and wool&, and these from Smartwool are by far my favorites! #sweepstakes

I always order these tops in multiples -- in a range of sizes so that I can layer them or wear them on their own.

I wear it like a lightweight sweater. So cozy. I love the color. It's my new favorite item to wear this fall.

Absolutely wonderful! I suffer with horrible, drenching night sweats as a result of autoimmune disease and medication and wearing this to bed has saved me. I wake up feeling dry (well, as dry as I can feel when spending all night sweating bullets) and warm and I no longer get woken up from being a shivering, wet mess in the middle of the night. I can also hang these up to dry during the day and can get away with wearing them to bed for several nights without it getting gross and smelly so I'm not overwhelmed by laundry the way I was when wearing cotton PJs to bed. I've had to shell out a lot of money for products to cope with the symptoms of my autoimmune disease but these are by far the most worth the cost!

I love this as a base layer or for layering under dresses. It's great to have high-quality merino that actually has interesting patterns on it AND a high wool percentage. Snug fit, true to the size chart.

I tried one top, and was so suprised it fit, I have now 5 tops. I doubted the bottom would fit because I am a 4x. I ordered one and again was shocked they fit. I have another on order. I hope to send you a picture from Svalbard, Norway this August 2025. It is above the Artic Circle and I will be on a boat, so it will be cold. Thank you for remembering us larger ladies.

These shirts are so comfortable and warm. The fit is perfect. The colors are pretty. I'm so happy with my purchase.

Great color, light, warm, comfy

I own a couple of these shirts and absolutely love the softness and warmth so I bought this one for my wife. Expensive? yes. But buy once, cry once. But you won't be crying'. If you like to be dry and warm when it's cold, don't skimp. Buy these base layers.

This is the 4th one of these I own and I love all of them. I'm a L most often but I buy XL normally because I like the more relaxed look and I wear a long sleeved T under them. I like them on the outside because the patterns are too nice to hide. Often I wear with a vest. This time I bought 1x because XL wasn't available. They run small so I think I like 1x just as well. Perfect for travel. I've worn them to colder places and they perform beautifully.

Smartwool always makes the best base layers.

So glad smartwool has started to make plus sizes. Us girls need to stay warm too! The only comparison I have is the merino wool long sleeve tops from the big box store that you need a membership for. These are definitely heavier weight than those. Enough room for bust, belly and arms with room to spare and not baggy or snug. I generally don't wear crew neck, but it wasn't too tight. It'll keep the cold breeze from zipping down the neck of my jacket!

Love the softness of these. They are not bulky so good for layering.

Thicker than expected, more like a light sweater than a base layer. Much thicker than the short sleeved base layers. Love the tree print.

Beautiful sweater. Soft and temperature regulating. Well made. My only complaint us it runs small and is not true to size. Accuracy in size is very important to plus size people.
