Does the trick. I was looking for a low key camera bag to use for quick shoots and hide my gear when needed. I wish they made a District 6, just to add a few more things in there as the District 8 is too much visually to keep a low visual key in cities. My 5th Mystery Ranch bag, hard to imagine buying bags from anywhere else. Quality is solid, price is you get what you pay for, buy once cry once

I got this for my wife after getting her a District 2 for around town. The 2 is identical but smaller. This 4 was the perfect size, and it had everything she wanted -- a plethora of pockets, comfortable strap, convenient access to all of the pockets, and a simple but classy look that she can adorn with one of her Celtic brooches. Of her multitude of bags, she says this is her favorite. I can even design a small leather patch for it and stitch it on if she tires of the brooch.

I bought this for everyday use and it is great. Fits exactly what you need: keys, headphones, wallet, even Red Bull. Highly recommended.

Just the right amount of pockets, well organized. Useful. Well-sized. Excellent construction. Easy access to what I need. Great fit with a nice adjustable strap. Very happy with District 4.

The District 4 bag is exactly what I needed to replace my old crossbody bag. The size is perfect for me, fitting a wallet, sunglasses, keys, hand sanitizer, and a few odds and ends. The key ring is a perfect feature, making sure I can always find my keys quickly. Also, the phone slot in the back of the bag is so convenient, especially when I'm running through the airport or navigating the grocery store and need my phone easily available. The size is not overly small, but just small enough that I'm not keeping random stuff in there. Very comfortable to wear. The black color is darker than in photos. It is pure black as opposed to a more deep charcoal seen in photos.

I bought this bag about a month ago and it's been working out great. It has enough room for everyday items. The quick adjustable strap makes adjusting from a shoulder bag to a cross chest bag every easy. I do wish that you could use the full interior width. The ability to expand the opening (depth) is great but it does limit the use of the full width of the bag (left to right). If the expandable side fabric was all the way out to the ends you could fit longer items, example a long wallet. I had to purchase a new wallet because the one I had fit but was very tight the measurements stated it would fit when I measured the wallet but losing about an inch due to the expandable fabric it just would not fit comforably. Overall, I really like the feel and fit of this bag and would recommend it to anyone who would need a good versatile bag.

I think the bag from Mystery Ranch is excellent, but it would be even better if they widened the shoulder strap or added a cushioned sleeve to the sling. This would help prevent discomfort when carrying a heavy load as a cross-body/shoulder bag.

Bought the District 4 after agonizing over the D4 vs the D2. Happy that I opted up to the 4 and would recommend the same. Slide mechanism works fantastically well. Well engineered, plenty of organizer pouches and works well in the accordion opening. Only suggestion would be to increase the strap size and/or make it more substantial.

I have worn this thing every day since I bought it over 2 months ago and I can't express how much I like it. The pockets are all in the right place, and this thing is built like a tank.

Great MR quality - again. Ruggedly built. Very thoughtful design on the interior and exterior of the bag.

I bought 2 of these because I wanted one for my wife. We use them when we want to carry a few items when we don't need to use a backpack. The bag has well designed features that my wife & I both really like like the pockets and key holder. I don't really like carrying my keys in my pockets. I like the double zippers on the bag. The strap has a disconnect which comes in handy. The District 4 is a great product and I'm going to order a District 8 too when they become available. Thanks Mystery Ranch!

Well made, good material. I can fit all my essentials while keeping my pockets empty! Solid key clip also!

Bought for my wife, loves it for sight seeing trips, Zoo walks and daily use

Nicely made, but to small for my needs. The strap is way to wimpy as well. Plan on purchasing the 8 in the future.

This is my first Mystery Ranch bag. I bought it to replace my Carhartt waist pack. It appears to be well constructed, love the orange on the inside. The strap is just too narrow to be worn comfortably for me, and given the way I wanted to mostly wear the bag, lower on the hip, the thumb lock was behind my shoulder which means I have to adjust the bag to adjust the bag. Just not the efficiency of movement I would prefer. While the sections are great it would be nice to have at least one with a closure. I could have fixed this with some Velcro but not my first choice. Partner liked the bag so I won't be retuning it.

I bought this bag and regret spending my hard earned money on it !!

Overall it worked, a bit tight for my uses but the color was the weirdest blue I have ever seen.
