Purchased Power Gym leggings online and they arrived smelling like a damp warehouse!! Can't get rid of the smell

Recently ordered a pair of power leggings in the ditsy star print. I was so disappointed in the quality and will be returning them. They were see-through when I was just standing up, so I wouldn't want to even attempt a squat in them. I have bought several pairs over the last few years and never had any problems before. There is also now a scratchy label at the back which makes them feel a lot cheaper. I have reached out to customer service about a few other issues with my last order and have only been told that nothing has changed but that the issue will be raised with manufacturing. This is my second attempt at a review as apparently my first review did not meet guidelines

I'm quite curvy with large bum and thighs but small waist and these gape at the waist and the drawstring just makes a muffin top. I've tried the high waisted version too and I don't like the waistband material. I love the super sculpt yoga leggings because they create a smooth waist and don't gape but apparently they are discontinuing them!!!

Black power leggings seem to be thinner and poorer quality that other, patterned fabrics. I wore for the first time and did burpees in the gym, the leggings were ruined; the fabric frayed and pulled all down the front of the thigh, they look like they've been worn 100 times already. Really disappointing.

Loved these leggings for running as they had an internal drawstring (which I needed to knot) Spent 30 frustrating minutes after my run as unable to undo the knot in the drawstring. In the end had to rip them to get them off. I feel like they haven't been tested properly-a drawstring needs to do up but also UNDO. An expensive mistake sadly.

Was reluctant to spend so much on some leggings but thought I would treat myself as reviews seemed really good. The pair I had ripped near the bottom when I was putting them on. Really disappointed.

I wanted these leggings in black as I've had a pair that have lasted ages. They're a great fit and the fabric is lovely. However, I bought them on sale in the dark grey colour which was a mistake. These show up the sweat in areas I'd rather not see while working out. I will be keeping them for very gentle exercise or walking but nothing that stimulates the sweat glands! Great leggings but be mindful of the colour!

I have these in Camo and they are excellent. These however are see through when you bend over!! Not for Leg day that's for sure!!!! I mean they fit great and look good on - but not for training!!

It is with great sadness that I am returning these, but they are extremely see through and very shiny. Otherwise, the sizing is right and the stiches are nice on the lower back and bum (although the one diagonal on the thigh does not sit nicely on a leg that is not already super ripped). They def need lots of cotton in the material.

I bought these after hearing such great things but sadly they are see through ! I wouldn't be able to wear them to the gym at all such a shame for the price

Unfortunately I have to send these back. I wore them once and a hole appeared on the seem on the leg. Would have loved to keep them. I have many pairs of these from here and this is the first time this has happened.

The stitching was unravelling on the inside seam of one leg and the rest of the stitching in the same place looks very insecure like the seam will completely unravel very quickly. Such a shame as I own a few pairs of these and this has happened over time but not on a brand new pair.

Waist rolled when I bent to touch my toes. A larger size would not have fit properly around the hips, buttocks, and thighs. Perhaps not suited for more "mature bodies". I noticed all the models are young and super fit. A mature lady needs compression in the legs and hugging comfort at the waist. I guess this isn't possible. Will not recommend to friends, especially since this item is pricey.

Within first wear threads on waist started coming loose/undone tTHEN the threads at the end of the legs started fraying AND then the threads between the legs started also fraying. All these problems within one wear led to it being instantly returned. Horrible quality for the price.

Only wore it twice and the stitching came off, very disappointed.

I bought these in black, it seems the back part is lower waisted than the front. They constantly roll down. I've worn them once , washed accordingly and have noticed my seem in the front crouch area coming apart already . If I'm going to spend that much money on leggings I'll just stick to lulu's.

Loved these at first. I'm very petite and they fit perfectly, unlike cheaper alternatives. However, after a few washes they have become baggy behind the knee and around the ankle and the stitching has become bobbly. I followed the washing instructions and even researched how often to wash and how to dry so I am really disappointed.

Hello SB. I recently bought my first pair 7/8 power gym leggings. Was very excited. I'm wearing them 3rd time , haven't done any strenuous workout yet so haven't washed them yet, but they are unstitched:( they rip on the stitch on my right hip. Size is good but i thought they were supposed to be good quality? Can you please advice what to do. I'm afraid they will rip in washing machine :(

The quality of the leggings seems to have markedly reduced- one wash at 30 and they have bobbles on them. Very disappointed and I will be returning.

I bought these leggings as friends had recommended. Had to return as I am a size 16 and XL was to small for me. Difficult to pull up. Lovely leggings though.

The black material used on the Power Gym leggings is different to the other colours. I loved the Navy pair i bought at the end of the summer, so i bought forest green and black without hesitation a few weeks ago. The Forest green feel and fit just like my Navy pair. However, the black colour are substandard. The material is more synthetic, less flexible and digs in at the ankles. The feel like a very cheap pair of leggings. SB - given the black must be your most purchased pair, this needs addressing.

Great pattern and fit. I'm 158cm and a UK size 10 and the small fits well
