These are my heavier weight leggings but they still breathe and keep pretty dry even when I'm exerting myself on the skin track up a mountain.

Reading through the comments saying that a size M fit better for those who typically get a size S persuaded me to buy the Medium size but they were too loose for me. The Small size fitted tightly around the waist at first, but they were perfect after a few wears.

Absolutely love! Super warm and comfy. Had to add a little extra stitch to the waist band as the thread was loose but not a big deal.

20 degrees????? No it's not! 10 degrees?? No way! With the Intraknit 250 thermal bottoms, what cold? I've skied in 20-10 degree weather with wind chill and I'm kept toasty warm. The bottoms are a little long but I am 5 2" but that's not a big deal to me at all. Love the articulation at the knees, no bunching or rolling down. I'm so excited to try these in even colder weather. Not to purchase the top.

These leggings are the BEST quality on the market for winter wear. Believe me I have tried ALL of the top notch brands. None come close. I am 5'2", 108 pounds, and the Small fits perfectly. They fit my body so wonderfully. And I like the nice snug waist band. I wish I had saved myself a lot of time and expense and come to you first. It would be great to see them in a gray and an olive green :)

I am 5'3" 91 lbs with slim body shape mid-aged lady. This pair of base layer bottom fits me perfectly. It's not tight but it's not baggy at all. I can't comment on quality or durability since I haven't had chance to use it yet. I hope it will keep me warm and breathable without giving me any itching issue. Cross my fingers.

I like my new navy 100% wool tights. I intend to keep my bottom half toasty warm in the mountains with these articulated leggings. I like how they match the intranet hoodie I bought. A nice pair indeed.

I wear this item as part of layering against the cold. The moisture wicking function is evident. I am petite, but I bought the Large assuming it would provide some leeway in washing shrinkage. I think the product is culturally sized based on where it is produced, because the Large just fits me. I wouldn't have been able to layer if I'd bought any smaller size. I haven't yet washed it, so I hope no shrinkage occurs.

These are great base layer pants. They look more like traditional base layers then leggings. Have worn for walking outside and skiing. Kept me warm.

Warm and comfortable. I layer these under rain pants in the cool weather and stay comfortable and dry all day. Great addition to my outdoor closet.

Funky sizing. The legs are a little long for a medium and the waist way too wide and tighter than the leg is at or the leggings. I kept them as they will b good on really cold days and like the color but I'm hoping smart wool will look into their sizing.

They're too short. I need to return them. I need a size small but they are not long enough.

These fit exactly based on the size guide. Don't know how people give one-star reviews for "bad fit" when they just don't measure themselves.

They are super warm and cozy. I did think the sizing was a little wonky (went up a size from what I normally wear) and the knee zones don't line up with my knees. Overall still love them though.

The material is thick and good quality. There are lots of extra design features like a different loose weave fabric at the knees ( I'm assuming it's there to stave off knee snag). Also reinforced fabric at the outer thigh. And the wider waist band is welcome. When it arrives the fabrics will be itchy. At least it was for me. I have washed them several times since I got them and they seem to be softening with each wash. I wore them outside with an outer layer at 10 degrees F and the cold got through. They are good, but not enough for extreme cold in their own.

These pants work beautifully for layering. Very comfortable too. I would advise that they run small and seem to have a short stride. I'm 5'7 and 140 pounds and the medium is barely adequate.

I had to return the product for a large, but in reality these pants will be fantastic under a pair of ski shells on those bitter cold days.

Not only were these way too small. I sent them back for a refund over a month ago and after multiple attempts to get a refund. 38 business days later and they still have no answer as to when I will get a refund. They supposedly have a satisfaction guarantee, submitted a request and have heard nothing for that department either. Seriously disappointed. I have worn smartwool baselayers, socks, gloves and beanies for years and never realized what terrible service they had.
