I'm typically a 4x but the 3x fit me well.

I use this pair weekly and they look and feel just as nice as the first time I put them on.

Used these as a base layer in cold weather. Super soft & comfortable. Kept me warm all day and never felt sweaty or scratchy. Love the color!

I've been looking for merino leggings for travel. Some were too thin of material or too small, but these were just right!

I'm 5'4". If you carry most of your weight in the lower stomach & backside, these leggings fit great. Reviews mentioned they're too long, but if you have thick thighs and wide calves the length is in your favor. I don't feel like I'm stressing any of the seams. I haven't been able to find 100% merino for women in my size until now and was just planning to buy from a big & tall men's website. Merino is an investment--if you take care of it, it'll take care of you. Be sure to store your woolens with some lavender or cedar because pure merino is a moth's favorite snack.

These wool bottoms are so wonderful. They are comfortable and high quality. I am over the moon with these bottoms. I have ordered several pairs because these are truly my favorite. They are expensive, but think of them as an investment. Thank you Smartwool for offering plus size wool products!

When I opened the package I knew these were going to be my favorite new base layer. They are soft and so flattering, especially as a plus size girl, I always worried tight pants will stick to the wrong places, but these fit so nicely. I think they will be durable, but wool is always a little risky, time will tell. Worn under an outerlayer I think they will be great, but its going to be hard to not want to just wear them around the house/base lodge this winter too.

First Smartwool base layer my wife has ever used. Bought for fishing in Alaska. She can't believe how comfortable that thin layer of ultrasoft wool is.

Bought this for an upcoming motorcycle trip to Alaska. I have not used them yet so I can't say how warm they will be but after trying them on, I was pleasantly surprised to feel how comfortable and soft they were. I will have to update my review after I take my trip, for the warmth factor. I wasn't sure about the size that I needed, and went one size down. It was good that I did because I have plenty of room.

I have a pair of minus 32 base layer pants that have thick ankle openings. These Smartwool pants do not. We are experiencing a prolonged arctic blast in Michigan's UP and my other base layers weren't cutting it. I got these Smartwool bottoms a couple weeks ago and am very happy with them. As stated I love the single layer ankle and the waist (which is a bit big for me) is a set-on waist. Not a elasticized waist. Even though it's big on me it is a more comfortable waist style. I wear these under a pair of fleece lined tech pants from LLBean and the combo has kept me comfortable while outside feeding wildlife which typically takes me an hour or so. I am so happy I am coming back for a top!

Love these. My last pair lasted me 5 years until I wore them thread bare. They fit curves well and are true to size. They are warm and comfortable and stink less than other brands when sweating.

So much better than the cheaper knock offs. The difference was noticeable while commuting to work. Layers well. I'm an official convert.

I've never been able to find wool thermal leggings in anything beyond an XL. My last pair were Smartwool, but men's and 3/4 length, so they always felt like tight pantyhose, that of course left a 3" gap between my socks and the end of the legs. But at the time, that was the biggest size I could find, and significantly better than nothing at -20 and below.
Oh my goodness, these! Have a wee bit of extra room in the belly and hips, they feel like comfortable tights/slim pajama pants. I'm so excited to be able to be fully covered and not restricted in my movements this winter!

I live in Alaska's Arctic and need good winter clothing. Smartwool is always my "go to"! When I wear Smartwool I am never too hot, not too cold. Smartwool is the only socks, base layers, and tops that I wear.

So comfy! I bought these one size up so they would be looser and more pajama-like for sleeping in. If I lose weight, they are made in such a way that it should be easy to put a drawstring in and make them joggers. Thanks for making plus sizes, and please add more!

Love these, especially that they come in plus sizes! I've been getting my wool leggings from wool& and the smart wool ones were almost half the price!

I bought the base layer pants and top for a winter trip to Germany. I wanted something warm, flattering and easy to wear. These are great! So often plus sizes are unflattering but I liked that I felt comfortable enough in these to wear out and about without looking like I am wearing pajamas. I am 5'10, 245 lbs and usually wear a 16/1x. I ordered a 1x in these.
