This is my second Riding Jacket by LL, (had too many desserts needed size up). This is such a nice jacket with improvements over my older one. The length is nice, the metal (not nylon) zipper quality and gives option to snap or zip or both. The lining is warm and feels good wearing. The lines of the jacket give a slender illusion on. The collar turns up for any chill you wish to reduce. Side pockets on seam are deeply cut so my keys won't fall out. I bought the Black as Navy sold out in my size. However I'm very happy with the color. My other one is Navy, these two colors run dark so not a big difference between. I highly recommend this jacket. The diamond quilting is attractive and gives the jacket a classic look.

I'm usually a 10/12. I'm tall and busty so a good fit is an arduous task. This medium fit like a gem and the long sleeves accommodated me as i previously stated im tall. I'm waiting for them to replenish stock i need another one !!!

I ordered the petite based on other comments. Color and fit are perfect. Not too heavy or bulky but very nice and warm. Just got for Cmas but feeling it's a "go to" for my wardrobe.

I purchased this jacket hoping to find a lightweight, feminine fitting jacket that I could wear for casual attire around town or for outings. Love the fit and comfort. Surprised at how it breaks the wind and keeps me warm during a Colorado winter afternoon. Can easily layer and looks super cute with the equestrian vest from LL Bean. Will be a great travel jacket that I can layer up, if needed. I usually wear a Large or XL and the XL is great for a light layer underneath without being bulky.

This is a great item, I love it and the color is awesome cyennan. Fit is a little snug an inch more would have made it a better fit for me. I like it so much I'm keeping it.

My mom gave this to me as a gift years ago in the (now retired?) tan color, and I wear it every single day all fall long, no matter the weather. She has it in green and we twin whenever we're together because she also wears it all the time. It is feminine and extremely useful. The other colors are gorgeous and now that I see them I'm wanting another one... Definitely a closet staple!

This jacket is cute. It can be dressed up and dressed down. It does run a little big but I was glad because it left the perfect amount room for a thick sweater. I am a little curvy and I have a shorter torso then most so the jacket is sort of the length of a peacoat on me which I LOVE. And it is very flattering on my figure. The jacket is warm enough for 30 degree weather and even comfortable for 60 degree weather. Very timeless and perfect for most occasions.

This jacket has all the extras I was missing in a similar jacket I own. The longer length is flattering, adjustable snaps at waist are slimming, snap and zipper front adds warmth. Jacket is super lightweight and doesn't add bulk. I disagree with reviews of poor quality. The extra details this jacket offers extend from collar to cuffs , inside and out. Worth very penny - especially on sale!

I purchased this coat last year in olive and I loved it so much I ordered another one this year in black. It is warm without being bulky. The fabric is water and wind resistant, and the style is very flattering. I'm not thin so I hate big fluffy coats. This one keeps me comfortable without the unattractive poofiness. I love the plaid trim that you see at the cuffs if you roll them over. It is easily washable and wears very well. I definitely recommend this coat to anyone looking to be stylishly warm.

I bought the green, wasn't sure about that, blue is my go to color. But the green is very stylish and a great fall color. This jacket is made very very well the inside seams are completely finished off so it looks great even thrown over the back of a chair. It also has a smooth acetate lining, I dislike getting my sweaters getting caught on the lining of jackets and always look for this kind of lining, perfect. The lining is also a nice plaid pattern that will match with just about any solid color scarf or glove. The arms were a bit long but I just rolled up the sleeves and that nice lining pattern shows. The styling is very feminine, there are adjustable snaps in the back.

This coat is well made and stylish. It's great for travel as it is lightweight but still warm. I looked at a number of coats before selecting this one. Just what I needed!

This is a great jacket. Ordered the Petite Large for layering room. The cuffs can be folded back (love that feature with no crazy elastic at the wrist.) The option of zip or snap adds versatility. The style would make a great vest, too (hint!). Have it in three colors now, so that says something about it.

I really like this jacket. I had to replace my Patagonia bulky winter jacket which I had for a few years and didn't wear well for the money. I wanted something less bulky, warm, and better quality. Temperature was in the 30's with a windchill that was in the 20's yesterday. This jacket kept me warm. I am not sure how it'll do when temp dips into the single digits. I have a vest from the Signature line that I had gotten from LLBean last year that I can layer underneath this jacket to add warmth if needed. The vest is also very thin and so it won't add bulk. I also like how the pockets are positioned on this jacket. It is slanted and so it's not awkward when I put my hands in jacket pockets.

I bought this jacket in black light weight very comfortable to wear while driving love it!

I bought this as a fall jacket and I am loving my purchase. It's very warm and I am even wearing it in the cold northern Maine weather now until I transition to my winter jacket. It runs a little big but I prefer that as it allows me to layer underneath.

Great for in between seasons. Slightly gathered on back makes it very flattering. Love the black color and plaid sleeve , that makes it look like a Burberry jacket.

Love the way this light weight jacket fits so easily over layers. Beautiful orange color for fall with just the right amount of warmth.

Lighter weight than I expected, but it is fairly warm. I had to order a heavier coat now that the temps are in the 20s. Very nice, flattering fit.

I tried this on in the store and had to have it even though I was there for a parka. (I got both, we were in Maine what better souvenirs?) I have noticed with LL Bean coats I have to get petites even though with their other clothes I don't. I got a size larger than normal so that I could comfortably wear bulky sweaters under it but it still looks great thanks to the tabs to cinch it up in the back. I love it.
