Very cute! Reminds me of our 1980's ski jackets. I'm 5'4" and 160#. I got a large. It's maybe a little snug in the shoulders when I raise my arms. I debated going up a size and decided to keep the large.

I love almost everything about this jacket. The only thing I don't love is the cuff of the sleeves. It's like an elastic band type cuff. I'd prefer it to have a standard cuff, but it's not a deal breaker.

Really solid jacket! I took one star off because it is tight in the chest/upper arm area. Anyone with broad shoulders may find this a little constricting. But otherwise it is very comfortable. Lightweight, but very warm. The pockets are perfectly placed and nice and deep.

I'm 5'9 about 145 pounds and I purchased medium. There is not much room to layer, but it's very comfortable and I love that the collar stands up. So far worn in about 45 degrees with a flannel under and was plenty warm. Would recommend for midweight jacket, not for true winter tho.

Not very attractive but it is meant to keep me warm. Time will tell it does not feel like it will. Check back later.'

First, I absolutely love the colors in the brown, which made me determined to make some version of it work. I also love the light weight and the colorblock look. I ordered my usual size and the fit was just exactly right with a thin tee under it. It looked fantastic, but it left no margin for layering. So I tried the same color in the hooded version one size up. The look wasn't quite as sharp, but for a transitional piece like this I decided that layering flexibility won out over aesthetics, so I am keeping the larger one. Overall I am very satisfied

I love the color and style of this jacket! I have the kelp & navy color. But I wouldn't necessarily call it a puffer jacket. It's very thin and light weight. More of a fall/early spring jacket. I will mention that it's a bit snug across my shoulder blades. I normally wear a PXS in LLBEAN which always fits me perfectly. I tried one size up but felt it was too big on me so I kept the smaller size.

Super cute retro style and colors (cream with the orange/blue/yellow accents) and great weight for spring or early fall. As with a lot of Bean outerwear, this runs one size large. I'm generally a size small (4-6/lean/small busted/muscular) and take an XS in this. One star off for the prominent chest logo patch -- I really wish bean would stop it with this -- it's so huge and colorful that it is distracting (at least place it at the bottom right hem or something rather tan the chest). but I love the jacket so i'm dealing with it.

I love the color combination and the old school style. Unfortunately the fit of the jacket is very off. I ordered an XL and it's very tight all over, but especially in the shoulders and upper arm areas. I have another of their 40 degree puffer jacket same size / cut and this jacket just doesn't fit the same as my other puffer. The snap pockets are OK I thought that detail was pretty old school too so I can live with them, but no interior pocket totally stinks. I think every coat should come with them especially in the age of smart phones. I decided to keep the jacket despite the fit because I just love the old school styling and lately it seems so hard to find a straight up navy blue jacket.

This jacket is perfect for north Florida winters. It is warm in 30 degrees and windy weather. It is nice and thin, rather than being bulky. I got a Large, which I wear in most things and it's a little big at the bottom around my hips. Since we don't wear a lot of layers here, maybe I could have gone a size down to get a slimmer fit.

It runs large ... I ordered according to their size chart and the XS is STILL large with a sweatshirt underneath it. Exchanging (even though they are charging me $6.50 to do this) for an XXS. Also - the red is not red in person but more of a burnt orange. STILL a very cool looking jacket! Lightweight and definitely not a puffer.

The jacket fits fine. It does not seem like it will be very warm, quite a bit thinner than I thought it would be. Disappointed there isn't one secure pocket to put keys, etc. in. When a car key these days is $600 to replace (plus the inconvenience of being stranded somewhere), I need one pocket where there isn't a risk of losing them. One small inside pocket would have been nice.

I would suggest sizing down. Once you find the best fit, the jacket fits nice. It is a box-ier cut so makes you look larger when oversized.

I love the design of this jacket. It's a perfect lightweight jacket, not meant for cold winters. This is my first time buying an LLBean jacket and I bought a medium, but this medium was wayyy too loose. I'm hoping a size small will work better. I like my tops and jackets to be fitted, so a Medium may be just perfect for others who layer or like more breathing room.

I don't think it should be called a "puffer" coat. I assumed this was a thicker winter coat but its very thin. No puff to it. It's ok for a mild winter day in Wisconsin. Love the colors of the beige coat. Fits true to size or maybe a little big.

Got this in Natural/marine blue Size Large. Fits perfectly, and will be great for southern winters. Ease of movement with enough room to wear long sleeves underneath and thin enough to layer a bulkier coat over it. I'm a little disappointed with the colors of the stripes. Blue isn't as bright as pictured and the middle color is a rust color rather than bright red. Overall I like it! Tried to upload a photo but the site won't let me.

The colors are great but it was tight across the shoulders and wide at the bottom. I wanted to love it but it was also too thin to be my winter coat. Returning was easy.

Color is great. Almost warm enough and sleeves too long.

Runs large. I am 5'3" 115# and the xs was boxy. I exchanged for a petite xs which fit better. Also it's pretty thin. Sufficient for a California winter but that's about it in terms of warmth. Very cute, I get lots of compliments.

The colors are amazing, feels great. Lighter material. It's a little tight in the shoulders for me. I can't wear a sweatshirt under it.

The jacket is so very cute! Kind of a 70's throwback look which I love. I am a true medium in tops and jackets and this one is a bit big on me but if you wear bulky sweatshirts and sweaters under it, it works out well. I will probably run to a local LL Bean store to try on the small before I cut the tags off my medium I ordered.

Although this runs a tad small, I really do like it. The arms are a little tight but it does keep me pretty warm. It's also light weight so it doesn't feel heavy while wearing it. Love the color. Overall it's very pretty and I do like it very much.

I normally wear a 2x (22w) in women's plus size and sized up to account for layers. This jacket is SNUG, but I like it too much to return it.

Very stylish. Runs big in body, not in arm length. Ripped the nylon on my first farm chore and sewed it... Barely visible. Warm and lightweight. Would buy a size down if I bought another. Otherwise well made and cozy.

I was so excited to see a coat that was both hip and plus size! It is very flattering except that the arms are too tight on the 2x. I bought a size up 3x and it's too big! Super bummed, because I love it! I would prefer zip pockets but that wasn't a deal breaker...
