Great little in-between jacket, styling is very cute. Fashionable enough to wear out and about, and functional enough to wear on a walk or snowshoe outing. Winter jackets are rarely flattering on me and usually make me look like a poofy marshmallow, but this jacket is not bulky and the pockets are angled in a surprisingly flattering way at the waist, so it actually looks quite good on. I usually wear a standard small or occasionally XS in LL Bean tops and the XS was a more flattering fit (I tried on both) so it may run just a bit big. I have enough room to wear it with a base layer top and my LL Bean Ragg Wool sweater underneath. I live in New England so this is obviously not a jacket for the very coldest of days when I'll be outside for a while, but it's perfect for the 30s-40s temps that we do get quite often, or on a colder day when I'll be more active (like snowshoeing.) I also like how it's not too bulky to drive in, and I can wear it on errands, running in and out of stores without sweltering, like I would in my heavier winter jacket. It also seems pretty packable for travel. The zipper seems high quality. Even the "high end" outerwear brands sometimes skimp on a quality zipper these days, so thank you LL Bean for making a decent zipper on this. The one improvement I could recommend is maybe having a zipper closure on the pockets to better secure keys, phone, etc. (There is just a single snap holding the pockets shut.) And maybe a hooded version would be nice to offer? I do like the collared style on this though. I know I'm going to get a lot of use out of this little jacket! Great versatile piece!

This jacket is GREAT! I was disappointment when it came because it was so lightweight and thin. But don't let that food you! This jacket is perfectly warm, lightweight, comfortable, and easy to keep clean (& wash). I would ABSOLUTELY order it again. And it's true to size.

Relaxed fit. Very warm even tho it's really thin. I wear a long sleeve under it and it makes me sweat! Great little jacket. Get compliments all the time.

I am 5'6" and 200 pounds. I ordered an XL, and the jacket is roomy enough to wear a sweater under, if desired. Yes, I would recommend this item to a friend. Here in Alaska, it would be a summer jacket... but I just wore it outside on vacation (in December), and it was the perfect weight for all the other states I was in. I would probably consider it more of a spring/fall type weight.

Comfortable and cute- perfectly warm for mild weather- my only wish is that pockets had zippers instead of snaps- I'm 5'8" and around 145 lbs and a size 6-8 in most clothes and the small was a perfect fit

I absolutely love the fit and feel of this jacket! I wear it all fall, winter, and spring. I love the design and the colors in the jacket. I am a true 3X and it zips and fits perfectly. I have worn it in a light rain and have stayed dry. I often wear it out on walks and love the pockets and movement.

I love this jacket! It's really light weight and thin, but keeps you warm considering how light weight it is. I also loved the retro design. It fits a little larger on me so I can wear a bulky sweater under it without and issues.

Warm jacket with great style! I kind of wish the cut was a little bit slimmer. I ordered a medium and it was a little baggy, but overall it's a great jacket that I plan to wear as much as possible! The bagginess means it's good for layering, so that's a plus!

I bought this coat out of desperation, I needed a spring jacket. I went to their flagship store and they had limited quantities of any jackets in sizes other than XS, Small or Petite. Due to not being able to find much variety in a size L I ended up purchasing this coat and have realized how much I like it. It's a great little jacket, perfect for spring, comfortable, and gets so many compliments.

Just the right size and weight for chilly California days and nights. Sporty yet classy enough to wear to all occasions. Why didnt't I buy it sooner???

I moved back north to Pennsylvania a couple of years ago, and I realized that one jacket wasn't going to cut it in the winter. This is good when it's too warm for a heavy jacket and too cool for a light jacket. It's also great for layering--I've worn this over a merino undershirt and a t-shirt and been warm on fairly cold days. There's definitely a seventies ski jacket vibe to this, but I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Another winner from LL Bean!

Received this jacket for my 62nd birthday from my husband. It fits very well other than a little snug in the chest, but not a problem, zips up just fine. I notice several reviewers mention it isn't warm enough, I don't find that a problem, it's plenty warm. As a child of the 70's, I love the retro vibe of this jacket.

I love the looks of this jacket. I bought a Petite Large and it fits perfect. I do wish it had a zippered inside pocket but it is a sharp looking jacket
