LLBean Women's has been a wonderful clothing source for my "difficult" figure over many years. Most importantly, their array of choices give me the versatility I need plus I can always count on a quality product. I am 5'1", quite short in the torso. "Slim fit" does NOT work on this body type. In Petite Large, this jacket was perfect, classic in style, sleeves just the right length and roomy enough to allow for layers underneath. My Puffers first outing was early March in Montana, visiting family, where the temperature was about 5 degrees + strong wind chill. If Bean would add a hood to this coat, it would be perfect. Even without the hood, I would still highly recommend!

Great jacket, warm but not too heavy and fit is perfect!

I love the jacket. The LLBean quality is great as usual. I really like the grayish color that I chose. My only suggestion is that because it is fitted, I ultimately ordered the next size up so that I can wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath if it's very cold outside. However, the warmth of the jacket is good for most of the outside temperature in Pennsylvania.

True to size. Very stylish. Perfect for spring and fall weather. I receive many compliments on the jacket.

Lightweight but warm. Fits very well, just the right length in the body and arms. I am 5'6" with most of my length through the torso. I also have long arms and most jackets are too short in the arms for me, but this fits exactly right.

I love this jacket! I wanted something I could wear between warm Fall days and cold Winter days when I would wear my down coats. This is perfect. I got a size larger so I could still put a sweater on as well and have enough room to move around in. I have several Bean coats & jackets, & I expect this one will serve me just as well. Highly recommend. Fits perfect.

I love this jacket! I am the very definition of plus size and it fits me no problem! The price is cheaper than any other plus size puffer jackets I could find as well. Comfortable, affordable, and fits true to size for me. Would definitely recommend.

Great lightweight jacket. Gunmetal is more blue than gray. I was hoping for a dark gray. Probably should have gotten black.

So happy that I made this purchase. I live in SC and needed something to keep me warm when it is cold outside. This jacket was made just for this. I purchased the gunmetal gray and I am so happy with the color. It is gray but with a bit of blue so it can look navy depending on what you wear with it. This is exactly what I was expecting. Warm enough to walk the dogs in winter! Not bulky feeling either.

This is a surprisingly lightweight, but very warm jacket. Easy to get into, even with a bad shoulder like I have. I have given away two of my older winter jackets, so this is now my go-to casual jacket. Love it.

I really love this coat! It's a really good mid-weight coat which is perfect for me since I tend to run warm, even in the winter. I can get away with a short-sleeved shirt underneath until about 35 degrees, but even then a light sweatshirt keeps my arms warm. While the collar zips up all the way, it isn't so stiff that it sticks into your neck, either fully zipped or unzipped. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that there isn't a cinch at the bottom hem of the coat. Highly recommend!

Ordered this for travel but have worn it a few times and like how light but yet warm it is. It'll pack well when I am able to go on my trip in March. Right now we are experiencing single digits so it's staying in the closet. Fits well. I never go wrong with Bean outerware.

I wanted a lightweight coat for travel to colder climates and for the occasional cold mornings here in FL. It is just what I was looking for - not bulky but still warm. I bought the medium to be able to wear layers underneath and not have movement of arms restricted. It fits well. If it came in more colors, I would probably buy another at this good price.

The jacket is so light and packable.i wear mine with a thermal or light flannel when walking dog during cold windy days.so great.i have never own an ll bean products except 2 wool sweaters.i love this jacket!!!

I needed a lighter weight jacket for those days in Virginia that are cool but not cold enough for a heavier coat: this one is exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfectly and is just right for multiple seasons. I read previous reviews that said it was not warm enough: that's why it's labeled as a jacket instead of a coat. For size reference, I am 5'7"/175 and purchased XL: it fits well and sleeve length was okay (some LLB items in XL have sleeves that are too long).
