It's true. It is a light-weight jacket but in Conn. we don't see really cold temps until mid-Dec. so there are 4-5 months between now and Spring to wear this jacket. I got the Sienna Brick because I have a Bean jacket in black and gray isn't my color. I got a large. I'm 5'7", 168 lbs. I could have used 1-2 inches more in the hip area but it zips fine without looking like a sausage. Best thingit was on sale! So I'm happy with my purchase.

I like the weight and fit of the jacket. The LLBean size chart was right on. When I opened the package I thought it was going to be stiff & might not roll up as I intended but I was wrong. It rolls up just I need it to do. The color is quite a change for me bc my other puffer jackets are all black so I think I'm going to like the change.

The color of this jacket , sienna brick, attracted me to this jacket first. Wanted a warm jacket that I could layer under for colder days and this is perfect. I ordered a middle, which fits well, with room underneath for sweaters, sweatshirts or vests

I like clothes with angled shoulders The jacket is of fine workmanship, a good size, a nice color and good quality. It's even better if it's angled.

Great lightweight puffer. Fits true to size. Perfectly warm. I am always a medium in Bean tops and this fits well over a light fleece and also over just a tee.

Really nice jacket - lightweight and warm (for me down to about 20 degrees before adding another layer). Nice looking too. Reasonable price.

Really cute, nice cut. I will say I believe the jackets runs big. 5'1", 127 lb, pear shaped. I normally wear a Med in other popular big brands. I ordered a med petite and it was quite big on me. Sized down to a small bit may have been able to go to an XS.

Absolutely love this jacket! Its lightweight and still very warm! It has little stretchy fabric at wrists that give good fit! Would buy again!!

Great for traveling because it's lightweight & packable. Works well layered with a sweater when you go from warm to cold climates.

Mid-weight jacket. Great for California winters. Fits well( petite large) and I really like the grey color for a nice change(I always seem to order black).

This jacket is just what I wanted. It is a lovely color. It is warm but not hot. It is warmer than a sweater. The fit is just right. I ordered a medium because it is slightly fitted. I wear a small in a relaxed fit.

Absolutely love this jacket! Not bulky yet warm and comfortable. I live in AR so it's not bitterly cold for long periods. This jacket is perfect for southern winters. The color is great too.

This puffer jacket is the BEST jacket I've ever owned. I bought it for my daily walk but I have been wearing it every time I go outside. This jacket is warm enough for my long walks and comfortable for quick trips to the store. This is a jacket that allows plenty of movement driving the car- none of that marshmallow puffiness. It also rolls up easily to stash in my bag at the gym.
