This Jacket fills my need for a jacket with some lightweight insulation for cool mornings & evenings... and against the strong winds that blow thru a person in our warmer seasons. I find too it is perfect for the grocery store which is always a bit cold! The beige color is perfect for spring and goes with any color. The zipper glides smoothly, the two outside pockets snap shut keeping keys inside when shopping. If needed I can wear a sweater under the jacket. I am at the age when I am shrinking a bit... the petite fits well, with the arm lengths being exactly right, and small of my back is covered. This jacket lives up to LL Bean standard for craftmanship.

Absolutely love this Jacket. I ordered the small petite. I am 5', 116 pounds. Normally I wear an xs but wanted room to layer over sweaters and such. Sleeves have plenty of room for layering. The weight of the jacket is perfect, not to much but still warm. I live in the south. Right now we have nights that get into the 30s while days get back up into the 60s. For this type of weather the jacket is perfect. It's pockets are a good size too. Yes, I would have liked an interior pocket, but the two that it has works holding my cell phone and small wallet when running in a store. It has already received a few compliments from my co workers, which is always a plus.

I bought a 2x in the sienna brick color. I am dark blonde and the color looks amazing! 5'6", 260lbs, hourglass shape, plus sized 2x gave enough room to zip comfortably and not feel sausaged into it! I use these reviews often to purchase, so I figured I would pay it forward and bravely add photos and actual body stats. Cute with jeans or leggings, love the outdoorsy vibe and the classic vintage logo.

Very nice looking jacket. I love the color and it fits well, except it feels a little tight putting the second arm in. Once on, though, it doesn't feel too small. I am 5'6"/125lbs and ordered a medium regular.

Absolutely LOVE this jacket! It's perfect outer layer for living in North Carolina during the winter, it's all about layering up here during our coldest months. This jacket keeps me warm on the coldest of mornings when walking my dog or playing outside with my kids. I can layer up underneath of it with a sweatshirt & t-shirt or still stay warm with a basic long sleeve-shirt underneath. Very happy with this jacket! A staple piece for sure for any southern's winter wardrobe.

I needed it a good jacket for spring and fall and warmer winter days. On 0 degree days I wear my Down Bean Coat.

Lightweight, but still warm enough to get me through Mid-Atlantic winter weather. This jacket is fitted, but not tight and the length of the sleeves are perfect. Love the gunmetal color too.

I got this and loved it so much that I ordered one just like it in the men's for my Dad. L.L.Bean has such nice quality clothes and this coat is very nice. It helps keep you warm and I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good winter coat. I ordered a a size larger than what I usually wear just because I wanted it to be roomier if I need it to be and it fits great.

Nice quality medium weight jacket. Two hand warmer pockets are adequate. It would be perfect if there was an inside pocket.

I like the weight of the jacket and how it fits - perfect for a petite size. I am not crazy about the logo on the front in case I want to dress up the jacket a little bit. The color is nice. I like how the zipper works every time - not like some jackets that you have to pull or start over when zipping.

I love this jacket...it's exactly what I was looking for. Not so heavy that you feel weighted down but an excellent jacket when worn with a long sleeve t-shirt and flannel under it. I don't sweat to death when I'm out shoveling or going from the house to driving in the car. It's waterproof and just enough to keep me warm when I need to out and about.

This is a very warm and flattering jacket. I went up a size to allow room for sweatshirts/sweaters. Not too puffy like some. Perfect for southern Alabama weather!
