Fit is good, as expected. The front zipper closure is not as smooth as I'd like, it gets caught in extra fabric and/or the Velcro closure that goes over the final zipped up front is cumbersome as well. The jacket is great for rain and shields well. I own a previous LL Bean Rain jacket and love it, I find myself going back to it instead of using the new one.

Nice jacket, definitely waterproof. But agree with others-it's tight in the shoulders. Also would be nice if the sleeves had elastic on the cuffs in addition to the Velcro adjustment.

I bought this rain jacket for a trip to Ecuador. It held up nicely in afternoon downpours with a light fleece under it.

Love the softness, fit, comfort and packability. I had hoped to find that the hood rolled into the collar, but cannot find that anywhere these days. Everything else about the jacket is just right.

Jacket is very nice but I don't like the deep hood. Can't seem to see my surroundings.

I like the style. The material is a little too noisy. It is very crinkly.

I needed to order a second jacket in a size up because I felt the first one was too short and sleeves felt too tight to wear a sweater under it. Other than that, I absolutely love the jacket! It has a place for everything. The sleeves have velcro around the wrist. The size I have now is longer. It looks well made. Hope to enjoy it for years to come. ( I do find that a lot of L.L. Bean's tops are shorter than I prefer.)

It seems to be a beautiful, wind proof rainjacket. I haven't worn it much yet this fall, but am looking forward to wearing it for many years to come.

I wore this on a trip to Alaska. Worked great in the rain. If it's chilly, wear layers. My only complaint was the hood being a little big.

Liked the jacket, due miss the fact the zipper doesn't open up from the bottom. So that mobility/driving can be made easier.

Bought this rain jacket for my grandaughter who is at Amherst College, she comes from Puerto Rico and had no cold weather rainy gear for the North East. She is loving it.

This replaces my 10-year old LL Bean rain jacket. Fit is as expected, I like a bit of room so that I can wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath in the colder seasons. The navy color was a lot darker than I expected, it almost looked black on first glance, but it is indeed a very dark navy.

This is a very nice jacket..well made, nice color. I purchased the Regular Medium. The sleeves were 3-4 inches too long and there was no way to be able to make them attractive. I'm exchanging it for a PM to see if that works for me.

This is a replacement Rain Jacket that I had for 10 -15 years. I was pleased to have a zippered pocket on the chest for my lip gloss & small ID/credit card Holder, works well when we are riding on my husband's LT motorcycle. The packable pocket was another new feature that my first did not have, although most of the time I will continue rolling the coat up into its hood. I store a foldable hat in one of the inside mesh pockets to keep the hood from falling down into my eyes when walking around in the rain. Those tall inside mesh pockets are very handy to stash other items into rather than carry a purse when out sightseeing. My only tiny negative is that I wish the arms still had one half of the back cuff elasticized as well as the adjustable strip in the front; my arms are too short & too skinny for just the Velcro adjustment. So thankful that LLBean carried it in Petite Sizes. I pair this jacket with Full zip rain pants that you once offered but was unable to find them when I purchased the jacket.

I travel a lot and found that this jacket was perfect for me. It is light weight, fits into my handbag or a small space in my suitcase, and fits almost exactly as the specifications outline. However, I found that the distance of the hood from the neck were too long and required adjustment. The color was amazing.

Nice and light, close fitting. Does make a bit of a rustling sound. Actually haven't worn it in rain yet, so can't say how it does.

This is actually my 2nd jacket. The first lasted many years and held up well until it started peeling at the neckline, which caused it to leak when it rained. You sent a replacement (Men's Med. because the women's colors weren't great) which I use when I sail in the rain. It, too, has been excellent in a downpour in our hot climate, but now it, too, is peeling at the neck and the label, which is taped in, is peeling off, as well.This jacket is not nearly as old as my last one was and it isn't worn terribly often because we don't get a lot of rain here. I love that I can roll it up and stash it in my sailing bag and it is otherwise in good shape. Help!

It works well in the rain but is very thin. I gave this jacket 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price. I had jackets many years ago exactly like this for 1/4 of the price, maybe even less. Prices have gone up but it is still overpriced.

It is a petite size but the sleeves are quite long.

This is my second LLBean raincoat. I believe the material is a little thinner than the first, but it's fine. Pretty color, too (although not as pretty as my periwinkle one)!

The fabric is great and it is certainly waterproof. I do like the plentiful pockets. As for fit, I am 5'9", 140 lbs, the sleeve length is perfect and it fits well across the shoulders but is a bit baggy otherwise. The fit is not as depicted on your model, it's much looser. This is OK for over a heavy sweater but too loose over a lighter shirt.

I purchased this to replace one that I had purchased almost 3 years ago that had a manufacturers defect. The new jacket, although the same size, seems to be cut narrower in the body which I find disappointing. I was also disappointed that I could not purchase the same color which was a granite/gray. Overall quality is good.
