It is pretty much what I was looking for--lightweight, nylon, nice pockets, velcro closures to help keep sleeves tighter at wrist, good color. I wish the hood were detachable because I don't use the hood. I've looked everywhere for the wind breakers of former years and this is the closest one I've found.

I bought 3 to compare features. There are no armpit vents and I'm a warm hiker. Pockets all zip, good hood and adjustable velcro closures on wrist and for flap over zipper where I prefer snaps. Single layer, light weight good looking.

The fit is fine. My complaint is that I purchased this model because it says it "folds into it's own pocket." That was great. After receiving it I couldn't figure out how to fold it!! It did not come with any instructions. I took it too the L.L.Bean store and they really didn't know either. One sales person ended up just stuffing it into the pocket! I still would like an instruction page to do it correctly. Please help

I loved the color and fit of the jacket but unfortunately it did not keep me dry. It was returned.

Love the color and fit but wish the fabric didn't crinkle all the time. Provides good protection from rain. Feels better if you wear a long sleeve shirt or sweater under it.

The fit of this jacket is smaller than expected . I purchased same jacket a number of years ago, it was much too large after weight loss. I ordered this jacket one size smaller and it fits but without much extra room. I love the color, the pickets, and the Velcro as well as zipper closures. The green color is very pretty.

I purchased this jacket for a trip to Ecuador. It was packable, lightweight and waterproof. The zipper would catch on the inside lining sometimes.

Jacket is not totally waterproof. Purchased jacket for a trip to Ireland. Rain soaked thru both sleeve cuffs. Jacket is light weight and packed well.

I owned the "same" jacket when I was 35# heavier - obviously it's now MUCH to large awa showing wear. I first ordered my new jacket 2 sizes smaller, it was too tight. I exchanged it for one size smaller & while it fits there's no extra room. My point - sizing has changed over time for the same article. Otherwise it's fine, & as noted a very pretty color!

This is the third time I've bought this jacket over the past 15 years or so. In this new one, there's no elastic at the sleeves, which means I have to adjust the velcro every time I put it on/take it off. The sleeves are quite long. And there's no snap at front bottom anymore - just velcro at the very bottom. Disappointing. But the colors are nice.

Love this jacket - the color and performance are top notch. I would have given 5 stars but it was a little tight around my hips.

I bought this coat to take a bike and barge cruise in the netherlands in April 2023. It really worked out well and kept me dry. The hood fit over the bike helmet which was perfect. Love the fit. The only drawback was that it did not have zippers under the armpits. I never thought I wish I had zippers there but for this bike trip I really wished I had them. It is also nice and compact so was able to easy to carry on the bike when not needed. It was also big enough that I was able to put a lot of layers underneath included a LLBean fleece jacket.

This is a great jacket for warm, rainy weather wear. I found the fit true to size and I appreciated the Velcro around the cuffs to make them more snug. The only thing that I wish this jacket had is a drawstring or the like to make the hood a bit smaller when in use; as it is now, if I put up the hood, it covers half my face. But otherwise, this is very nice jacket.

I got this jacket in the burgundy color and it's beautiful. The fit is so nice too with a bit of shape to it so it's very feminine looking. I am normally as size small in clothes but bought the medium so I could layer underneath. Fits perfect without looking too big so I would say if you are undecided go with the larger size. The inside is a little plastic feeling and I worry it's going to be very hot in the summer here in florida against bare skin. The one thing I wish it had were elastic cuffs. I hate the Velcro at the cuffs. If you pinch it tight to keep out wind and rain it's then hard to get on and off over your hands. I'm thinking of bringing it to a tailor and having the Velcro replaced with elastic since the sleeves are a little long for me anyway. I'm 5'2" and 120#.

This is a lovely raincoat. The light blue color is very stylish and looks exactly like it does on the website. They are right when they describe it as lightweight, it is and it's very breathable. I have noticed I am slightly moist in the shoulders and arms when walking outside. I don't know if it's sweat or rain slightly sweeping in. I had a LL Bean raincoat from a decade ago and it wasn't breathable and I would definitely wet from sweat, so is this an improved version of this, since raincoats are a material to prevent water entry, or does reducing something to make it breathable allow for a little moister to enter? Either way, I do love this coat and I wear it frequently because the slight moister isn't a dealbreaker.

I am enjoying this jacket. It is waterPROOF, folds into its own pocket, is very lightweight, and is roomy enough for a fleece and light sweater underneath. I ordered the 2XL to get the sleeves wide enough, but the sides fall straight, so it looks trim. I like that the cuffs velcro shut.

Very rain repellant (water just beads off) but the sleeves seem oddly long (and I have somewhat long arms). This will pack easily for travel, which is why I purchased it.

Very flexible jacket with a pocket up high that I needed to hold my iPhone. Zips on pockets very easy to use and helpful. I do wish that the inner sleeves were lined or not so rubbery as I need to use long sleeved shirts of sweatshirts to preven my arms from getting sticky.

Liked the color, and general style of this jacket. I do feel that it's a more fitted style, and would recommend that you size up if you want to layer in cooler weather. I'm returning the jacket because they used vecro to close the placket over the zipper. I find that velco can get stuck on unintended things and damage them.

I don't know why LL Bean makes the upper sleeves so tight in their coats. . In plus sizes, it is especially important to keep size in mind. I'll have to return this very pretty jacket and remember never to.purchase a LL Bean coat or jacket.

I got this jacket as a replacement for my old trail model rain jacket whose lining was flaking off. My old jacket was my normal XS, but in this jacket I had to go down to XS petite as both the sleeves and the body were unusually long. Glad I was able to try this on in a store so I ended up with the right size! I hope the lining is sturdier in this new version.

Fit is comfortable and there is room for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath. The Moonlight Blue color is nice. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet so don't know how it will perform in wet weather, thus the 4 stars. Love that it folds down compactly into its own pocket, which will be great for travel. Arrived quickly, like all my L.L. Bean orders.

I love the rain jacket, but I was surprised at the material. I was expecting more of a cloth-like material, but it doesn't trouble me to be more of a "slicker." I'm still getting use to the Velcro closure over the zipper. It holds tightly, so don't try to get out of it in a quiet space!

This is a cute jacket and I loved the color! However, the sleeves are weirdly long. The petite version is much better, sleeve-wise, but the jacket was then too short for my taste (I'm only 5'4" but I have a very long torso). On the plus side, it was roomy through the chest without looking bulky, which is a problem I often have with jackets. It's very lightweight/packable, so if you could get the fit right I imagine it would be great for travel.
