Exactly what i wanted.anotherhigh quality LLBean productand i love the unusual color which brightens up the darker rain days.

This is a very light, packable rain jacket. Fits nicely. My teenage daughter transitioned from an LL Bean children's 3-1 rain shell/fleece to this jacket and we added a light "puffy" jacket as the warmth layer.

Exactly what I was looking for. Wish it was a little more tappered in the waist but certainly not a deal breaker.

In addition to repelling rain, it functioned well as a windbreaker. I was able to wear a shirt and light layer underneath and still have ease of movement.

This was a perfect rain jacket for our trip. Have to drive and was not too warm. Highly recommend.

Love this rain jacket! You'll be singing in the rain wearing this coat. The fit is perfect both in the body and with Velcro straps to tighten the sleeves. Sits just below the waist so it covers you from the rain and is comfortable when driving too. Lightweight and the hood is perfect size as well.

I ordered this rain jacket for a trip. It's light weight and folds into a pocket. It doesn't take up much space. I was able to comfortably put a light weight fleece under the jacket (for reference I ordered size small 5'5"/123 lbs.). I haven't worn the jacket in the rain yet, so I can't comment on how rain repellent it is.

Lightweight. Great travel jacket. Perfect for rainy or misty days. Fit is true to size but can add an extra layer underneath for more warmth.

My Trail Model Rain Jacket was a perfect travel companion. It held up to all-day rain and strong winds in Iceland! Folded up to easily pack. Looked sporty among the other travelers geared up for hikes, viewing waterfalls and going to dinner.

Love the color (clover) , the roominess, and the fact that it does its job of keeping me dry. Also it's lightweight. Two minor negatives: I had to put a clip on the back of the hood to keep it from slipping down over my eyes and the sleeves were too long - it was a petite so I guess some short people have long arms.

Other rain jackets claim to be waterproof, but they are only rain resistant. This is the real deal. It stands up to rain.

Perfect weight for light rain or if you are expecting rain. It is very comfortable without the stiffness of raincoats designed for heavy rain.

This rain jacket fits very well and is a good value. It hasn't started raining yet but I'm sure it will be useful this fall and winter.

This is a good light weight coat that is water proof. It also packs down to a very small size for putting into a back pack or tote while sightseeing. I also love the color in lavendar.

I was looking for a waterproof top layer jacket. This is perfect. I did order a size larger as I find the LL Bean sleeves to be cut a bit small. I wanted to wear my LL Bean cashmere sweater under it. and it all fits! so comfy and folds up small for packing.

Bought this rain jacket because I was going on a cruise to Alaska and had noted that it was raining daily. Best jacket I could have had on the trip. Not only was it comfortable but it kept me warm and dry in the rain. Jacket has hood so I did not need to take an umbrella, leaving my hands free for other things. I was able to wear a short sleeved top and a vest and was still comfortable. I bought an extra large so I could possibly use this in the winter with a sweater underneath. Also because of the velcro tabs I did not have to worry about zipping the jacket closed. The velcro did its job by closing itself.

The Women's Trail Model Rain Jacket offers great rain and wind protection. This is my second purchase of the rain jacket. I've traveled with it on many trips and know its reliability.

I received a replacement (free!!) for a ten year old rain jacket whose lining had failed long ago. I have noticed the L.L.Bean guarantee, but I had never actually believed that a company would follow through on a promise such as this. I made a call, and the gracious customer service person assured me that L.L. Bean would love to send me a replacement, no matter that 10 years had passed. I am in florida, I thought maybe the heat was at fault. This model had proved problematic for others before, I was told. Having myself gained weight, I was also able to size up, and I have now received a lovely green rain jacket, with new upgrades. Xtra large Regular jacket, I am 5'5" and weigh 153 pounds. It provides total protection from water intrusion at neck and wrist, while remaining comfortable. 2 outside pockets and 2 mesh inside pockets look very convenient for long walks in the rain.
