It really is rainproof, unlike my rain resistant wind breaker jackets. I upped one size so I could wear a heavy sweater under it and the fall and spring cool days.

Lightweight rain jacket. Ordered my usual size and it fits perfectly. So far it has kept me dry. It will go with me on my cruise to the British Isles. It should layer beautifully with long sleeve tshirts.

I love this rain jacket!! We just went through TS Debby & I had to be out in it some of the time. This jacket kept me dry and comfortable.

This is a replacement of a similiar LL Bean rain jacket in which the fabric was peeling and which was purchased in 2016. I had mo hope it would be replaced. I requested it be looked at. AND THEY REPLACED IT AT NO COST TO ME. First I love the jacket. But more important to me was the way it was resolved.

The trail Model Rain Jacket replaced my old Bean Raincoat. I am so glad I found the jacket.

I really love the fit of this jacket. I needed the 1X so if I wanted to wear a large sweater under this I could and the sizing is great. The only thing I wish was that there was a mesh lining. My old Bean rain jacket from 100 years ago had a different lining. I find this one to feel a little odd on bare arms. No matter, I am very happy with this and would buy another. I got it in both the red and the blue and have kept the blue. Nice color. Red was nice too just preferred the blue.

It is comfortable and stylish. I bought extra large so that it would fit over a coat.

Had a prior one of these for about 10 years but was wearing at neckline. Bought this one for overseas trip. Great fit, packs well and great in rain. Also used as outer layer over sweatshirt when cool outgreat at blocking wind especially while on the seas.

I've already worn my new rain jacket. The hood covers my head and kept the rain out of my face. It repelled the rain great. I like the length of it and I can layer it over warmer clothing this fall.

I like the fit and the length. Its not too short or too long. It's comfortable for a rain jacket. It's perfect for when you need a nice casual look. I purchased one in navy a couple years back and now just purchased it in black too.

I hiked wearing this rain jacket for 2hours. It was raining, cold and windy day. The jacket kept me dry, warm and not sweaty because it's breathable. It also fits beautifully.

This size 1X rain jacket is just right for summer. I wore it on a trip to Norway a couple of weeks ago, and it was perfect. As a long-time LL bean customer, I say "Keep expanding your women's plus size clothing and wide/WW shoes, please".

This jacket feels great - well made but light and breathable. The teal/green color is bright and cheery which is just what I'll need on rainy days. For a petite size the arms are slightly longer than I'd prefer, just before the knuckles but that's not a huge issue.

Just the kind of rain jacket I was looking for! Wish it came in Petite size though.

This is my favorite raincoat! I had one years ago and never replaced it. My husband bought this for me for a birthday gift!! I love it!!

This is the perfect rain jacket. The color is beautiful, and the jacket is well made. It has the look of quality. This jacket is longer than my other L.L.Bean rain jackets and there is plenty of room for an under layer without having a "to big" look. The chest pocket is great for your phone and there are multiple places to adjust for a perfect fit. Recently had the opportunity to wear it out in a down pour. It kept me completely dry. Love the adjustable hood. I do have to comment on the length of the sleeves. They are very long for petite sizing. I still gave this jacket five stars.

I'm very happy with this jacket! I am petite so I first tried a kid's jacket to save money. I later found this jacket in-store on a sale rack and decided to try it on. The fit and style were great so I returned the kid's jacket and kept this. Worn it several times in conditions from mist to downpours and it kept me dry each time. I wore it for limited periods (a few hours at a time) in the rain so I cannot say if it would be enough during a longer heavy rain situation. Worth the purchase for me as I'll use it for years! I'm 5' tall, 110lbs and the XXS Petite fits well with enough room to layer a fleece underneath for cooler weather.
