This is neither warm like a sweater nor cuddly like a sweatshirt. It fits snugly and is just not very flattering. I should have returned it, but I had hopes...

THIN material, requires an undershirt. See-through. Beautiful, rich black color. Thin arms. I'm glad I sized up.

Nice sweater but it shrank after I washed and dried it according to directions on the tag. Now is too small forme

Nice light weight sweater for spring and fall with plenty of room, but sleeves and body could be 1-2" longer. I am 5'4" 105 lbs. and bought XS. Did not wash yet but after wearing twice it stretched out at the bottom. Would not purchase again.

Beautiful organic sweater. Very disappointed that a small hole developed after 4 - 3 washings in the arm pit seam. I am small and I bought a large.

This is a nice top, blue color very nice, but a bit on the short side. I liked it enough to order another in the sage color, exactly the same size. The sage one arrived and looked even shorter, so I measured and it's two inches shorter than the blue one. The green color is great so I will keep it and use with a vest. But I am disappointed at the inconsistency in length between the two. There's no reason that the garment length should vary between colors.

I love the color and the style, even though it is described as being light weight. I was surprised that it was this light weight. I have not washed it yet but will need to hand wash as it just doesn't look like the usual ll beam quality. It also runs a bit small. I ordered XL looking for roomy comfort, and it fits but not roomy.

I bought this sweatshirt in yellow. Loved the lemonade color (good for a cloudy day ;). This garment is nice, soft, lightweight fabric (some would say very lightweight and too sheer for them); I didn't take issue with that. However, I found the shape to be too boxy and did nothing for my hourglass frame; it just hung on me. I prefer a shaped fit. Furthermore, at 5'7", I felt it was a bit too short at 23.5". I suppose tops have now gone shorter due to the longer rise in jeans. The trends are never ending... A top at at least 24" to 25" in length is more flattering on me. I returned this item. Moral of the story: Read the reviews!

The sleeves are too short and it looks a little more casual than I was hoping for. I was hoping I could pull this off at work but it's a little too casual.

I like this sweater however it is shorter in the body and wider than I expected. It is very cozy but not overly flattering.

Fabric is nice and lightweight but the sweater washes very poorly, stretches out of shape, and wrinkles easily. For the cost and LL Bean's reputation I would have expected better quality.

There is definitely a range for LL Bean sweaters when a description says the fit is "slightly fitted". This sweater, while I like the midweight feel, is not slightly fitted. There's no 'fit' about it. It's a box. It is not attractive on me whatsoever. I ordered another sweater at the same time which was also "slightly fitted" (same size), and you can see how much extra material there is on the sweater underneath (the greenish-blue sweater is what I'm reviewing here), a good inch on either side. If I go down a smaller size, it probably won't have the arm length or waist length I need. Disappointed in the fit.

I really wanted to like this lovely sweater but after wearing and laundering it (following instructions explicitly) several times, I have given it away. The fabric is much too thin and sags when worn. And it sags in all the wrong places and directions.

fit fine but the mix of the way the grain runs is not good. It wrinkles.

I love the design, the fabric and the color is exceptional! But it is way too wide. This sweater is sized as Slightly Fitted but I would categorize it as Relaxed. I've been ordering Small for years and I've noticed that LLBean's XS seems to be getting larger and wider. Same with XS Petite. Please make items for smaller people! Thank you.

It shrunk and became misshapen. The blue color is uneven throughout the shirt and I'm constantly thinking I have a stain on it. I don't think it was worth the price. It's super comfortable though and the fabric is of high quality. Maybe another color besides blue would have been aa better choice.

I'm 5'1" and generally order petite but I ordered the XS in the regular and was shocked when I pulled it out of the bag. The bottom of the shirt BARELY touched the top of my mid-rise jeans. I was thinking this could be a layering piece, but geez! It would definitely need to be layered if I didn't want my back and waist getting exposed to the cold while sitting or making the slightest bend. I have no idea if the sleeves were too long or how the shirt fit (other than being very boxy) because it went back in the bag the moment I held it up in the mirror and saw what was going on. A very rare miss for me at the LLB.

Purchased in black. Loved the weight and texture - not too thick. However, the cut was just not right on me.

Very cute and fit great across the shoulders/body, but was weirdly short. Almost cropped.

Too expensive for the quality of this sweater. Very thin and concerned about how it will wash. Returned.

Not true to size. Medium felt like a small. Very short and sleeves only came to my mid forearm.

I really love a good slub knit top or sweater and I really love lemon yellow, so I was very excited to get this. However, it was a bit of a let down. First, the fit is extremely boxy and even though I sized down for a slimmer fit, it was just very wide on the torso, huge in the shoulders (to the point that it looked like I was wearing my husband's sweater) and the arms were also pretty long. The yellow color was a little brighter in person, but still pretty. But the slub knit was a lot of slub against a background of very thin fabric, so when I had it on, you could see the slubs as almost random stripes against the contrast of the thinner fabric. It was really weird looking. If this is a look you're after, then you might enjoy it. It just wasn't what I was expecting at all.

I purchased this sweater in both the sage green and blush colors. I expected this sweater to be similar in weight to the Midweight Cotton Slub Rollneck Pullover, which I love, but with a sweatshirt styled neckline. However, this sweater is actually an extremely thin, fine cotton knit. It is so sheer that you could easily see through the sweater in the blush color, you would need to wear something under it. Definitely not a year round weight for most people. I also found the fit boxy and the neckline a little lower than a typical crewneck.
