Great light/medium weight 2nd layer for around the house, the screened in porch, or running out to the mailbox. Just the right length and handy pockets. I wear it over yoga pants and leggings, or as a lightweight morning top over my pj's.

I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this sweater is! It was perfect right out of the package and seems to get softer and softer after every wash. I'm not sure what kind of magic LL Bean puts into these sweaters but they are amazing! I have one in charcoal and one in lilac. I need one in every color now!

This cardigan is well made, cozy and became my daughter's favorite's cardigan. The details in the back help to have a perfect fit and flare. It is great for fall and cold summer nights. It falls to mid thigh, so it is a bit long but that is the style and it looks good. I specifically purchased it because it is UPF 50.

This is so soft and comfy; yet still looks really good on! The fabric is incredibly soft on the inside, especially where it caresses your skin. And the drape of the fabric along with the slouchy pockets gives it a very stylish, flattering fit. This is the third of these cardigans I have bought - one last year and two this year when they brought them back. I have found them all to be ultra soft and have not noticed any change in the fabric as noted by another reviewer. I'm 5'4" and currently 135 lbs. and found the size medium to be a good fit. Highly recommend this cardigan. I'd buy another if its ever offered in more colors like brown, navy or beige.

I bought two of these last year for around the house as light coverups, so, when I saw the new muted purple heather ("my color") this past spring, I had to get it. The cut of this item is perfect---comfortable and flattering. There's quite a bit of stretch, but the fabric never stretches out, just bounces right back. After washing and line-drying, it looks brand-new. It provides some warmth, although it's no match to a plush robe or a high-pile fleece in the area of body-heat retention. Still, I'm finding that these SoftFlex cardigans look good, feel good, and come in handy.

I bought two of these in different colors and as soon as I opened the package, I knew they would be my new favorite sweater. It's hard for me to NOT wear them every day! The autumn weather has settled in here in the Pac NW and these sweaters are perfect for this kind of weather. They are snuggly and warm! I will probably buy another in another color. Thank you LL Bean for making clothes to fit my larger, curvy body!!!

Good fit as I ordered medium petite. Liked it as soon as I put it on as it's soft, comfortable and a bit slimming. I purchased a gray one and a blueish green one. Very nice.

Nothing special. Thinner than I thought. I kept it just because I needed something like this. Will probably keep looking for something that is thicker and warmer.

I would give this cardigan a 5 but there is a round sticker (1"D) -- bearing L.L. Bean's logo and name -- that won't come off. Otherwise, just what I was looking for, soft and comfortable.

Nice jacket. I like the gray color and the weight is good. I'd purchase again.

This item is close to what I was looking for; it is soft & fits fine. I wanted a bit heavier material yet this is ok.

This is a nice and soft layer for fall and winter. The only thing I wish they'd change is the rubber or plastic logo patch on the lower outside

Fantastic garment. Soft and comfortable. Would give it 5 stars if it was a little roomier.

This will be great for the fall as a lightweight second layer. The back of the collar does not stand up on your neck- scrunches down and feels annoying - thus 4 stars and not 5. I usually am somewhere between L and XL- glad I got the XL.

The sweater is very comfortable but runs a little small.

Love this sweater, especially for travel but the pockets sag and then the overall look is tacky. The fabric has worn great with many washings, fits true to size, love the length. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this in a review.

Nice and cozy as well as lightweight. Am wearing it right now over a nightgown to get the mail. I will keep it in my car for colder restaurants and chillier than expected days. LOVE the pockets!

Generally very comfy and nice pockets. I wish the fabric in the sleeves (above the wrists) had more give.

This cardi is the perfect length, and the fabric is great. However, it is Not a "most generous fit" as described. This is true to size. I am 5'2", 120lbs. I usually wear a small in TTS styles. The small fit perfectly, but the front barely meets together. It did look more tailored than the medium. I bought both a small and a medium after reading other reviews knowing that one would be returned. I wanted to be able to wrap it in the front if I get cold. I kept the medium. Also, a True Black would be preferred, and look a bit dressier. It is so hard to find a long black cardigan in a dressier fabric. If you want a generous fit, I recommend going a size up

Soft, cozy and warm. I like the design of this sweater, but it is definitely long. Might be best on someone tall but not too broad in the shoulders.

Loved it but runs small. Soft comfy fit. Wish it worked for me.

Pros: Soft, comfortable Cons: Saggy pockets ruin the look, too long if you aren't tall. I wear it around the house for warmth so it's fine for the purpose.

Yummy fabric! So comfortable to wear as an extra layer around the house. Pockets do droop terribly, definitely a design flaw. I corrected the problem by sewing large buttons at the top opening.
