I'm not going to lie - I've had some strange fitting things from LL Bean in the past and I have a longer torso, so that made a lot of things too short on me. They've stepped up their game and this fits perfectly. The length, the shoulders, the neck - just perfection. This can be dressed up or dressed down. I got it in the cream but now want every color.

This is a great pullover that feels like a sweatshirt, but looks way better! I like the length, it covers my hips (I'm 5'7"). I got the blue, which I think is a unique colbalt color and looks great with most things! Buy it now!

Wow, this sweatshirt is awesome! I love everything about it. Heavyish, super soft, perfect length in arms and torso, great pocket (kangaroo pocket is roomy but doesn't pooch out and make me look like I'm pregnant) The top seam of the pocket hits the body in a flattering way, like where your waist naturally nips in... I'm 5'8, 135, 34B and my usual Bean size is small - but I went with this in medium and I'm happy I did. I'd say it's true to size but I wanted a little extra room to put a long sleeved layer on underneath. Purchased the blue and it's a beautiful blueish/purplish/iris color. I'll definitely be grabbing this in a different color because I can see this turning into something I'm going to be living in. P.S. There's a well-known outdoor/mountaineering brand that starts with a "P" and ends with "gonia" who currently makes a fairly similar quilted pullover which retails for $149. In my opinion, Bean's rivals theirs in quality... Just sayin'.

I absolutely love this sweatshirt! I just got it and am already seriously considering ordering it in every color. Love this! So soft and comfy.

This quilted sweatshirt is soft, comfortable and provides moderate warmth. I prefer to layer, so I went with a size small. The XS would probably have looked more tailored, but I can't imagine being able to comfortably wear a t-shirt underneath. Having said that, I found the waist on the size small to be too large, so it looks a little sloppy. I usually end up tucking the front of the sweatshirt into my pant waistband to look a bit more polished. I had originally thought to purchase two of these, but I'm kind of glad I stopped with one...the in-between size issue for me prevents me from giving this 5 stars.

I love everything about this 'sweatshirt'. Perfection for my body type would be a bit more fitted through the waist and hips. And, I love the color!

Overall pleased with the purchase as far as quality and fit. One side of the neck doesn't like to sit flat if unzipped and folded down and looks a bit odd if zipped but regardless pleased with the item and not regretting that I bought it

Love the yellow color this came in, and the quilted design. The sizing for LLBean has been inconsistent for me though; two other shirts fit best in a small, but this one I had to exchange for a small petite because the arms and torso were quite a bit longer. I would also say the fit is a little boxy, but it's a sweatshirt so I wasn't expecting it to be flattering necessarily.

For a long while I have been looking for a casual pullover sweater, similar to the cotton knit ones I still have from LL Bean from very long ago. This sweatshirt is quite close. It is light enough to not be bulky, but provides good warmth. The 1/4 zip makes it easy to pull on and off. The light sage color is finally a good green - not harsh or clashing easily with other colors! It even brings out the green in my eyes. The one issue I have is that the top of the zipper on one side doesn't lie flat. Because it's part of a collar, it flairs out. My old cotton sweaters have a quarter opening, but no zipper or collar. But, even with the collar, I bought a second color.

Very nice sweatshirt. I have other LLB quilted sweatshirts, so I thought I would try the quarter-zip. This one is more fitted than the full-zip, in my opinion, but still large enough, in my regular LLB size. Larkspur is a very nice color (similar to periwinkle) that compliments my silver hair. One star off for the LLB logo.

Would prefer it to be looser; collar is slightly too large. Otherwise quite comfortable and warm.

I was impressed with this quarter zip top. It is nice and warm and has a slimmer fit. The kangaroo style pocket is t my favorite but i'm still pleased with the style , fit and quality.

Wanted to love this, but the bottom part is a bit big for my taste. I'm between medium and large with LLB tops, and bought a size large. May try a petite medium next time

I love these shirts. They are very warm, the fit is perfect for me and they wash well. I only gave the shirt four stars because I hated color, muted plum. I retuned it for turquoise. Now, I'm totally satisfied.

I bought the quarter zip and the full zip. I like the quarter zip better. It's less bulky and seemed to fit better- even though both were the same size. Still-I liked the ultrasoft sweats much more!

Sweatshirt is nice. A little bit too much of a synthetic feel and I don't care for the funky colors.

I like wearing this quarter zip pullover with a t shirt underneath it. I chose the color cream, which had a dingy yellow hue. That's why I deducted a star. For some reason, LL Bean items in colors with the names cream, ivory, sailcloth,and stone have this odd yellowness that is kind of off.

Love this quarter zip, a nice sweatshirt that is appropriate for the office. I purchased the lavender and it is a pretty color. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is that it wasn't available in a petite. The sleeves are a bit long and the material at the wrists is heavy. The quality is Bean, i.e., excellent!

I have owned the hooded zip up quilted sweatshirt for years. Same great quality but pulling it over my head wasn't the best idea for me. I exchanged it for for the full zip, love it!

This is the most comfortable pullover. I had two already, but wanted a navy. Perfect fit! I notice this shirt is lighter than my other two; it contains less cotton that earlier versions. Don't wear this if you have a cat that isn't declawed. The quilted portion is too tempting for a loving claw.

Well made as expected, soft and cozy weight. BUT I ordered a tall medium (5'5 145 lbs long waisted) short sleeves almost 2" above wrist and length not tall.

The fabric and color were both good, the top was more fitted than I like. I have 2 other quarter zips from Bean that are more comfortable for me.

Much lighter weight than expected, but great quality.

I loved that the sale product was the color that I wanted. I checked the size guidelines and ordered my usual size. It fit very snuggly. I you are using this for layering, I would probably size up.
