Love this sweatshirt! This is my 4th one - this time a gift for Mom! It is comfortable enough for hanging around the house, but stylish enough with the quilting, zipper and front pocket, for casual wear going out. I do not wear plain old sweats of ANY type, EVER, so this is the perfect addition to my wardrobe, particularly while we hunker down at home during the pandemic. Get one of these, stay home, and stay safe!!!!! You won't be sorry!

This is my new favorite sweatshirt. It is comfy and warm and the zipper is an easy way to either get extra warmth or let a little heat out. It is stylish too!

Good for many events

Last year I bought the pull over version and then I bought this version. They are warm, cozy and comfortable and I recently bought another quarter-zip one because of how much I love them!

I wanted to have something to wear out side and this is perfect for it.

I remember looking through my grandma's LL Bean catalogues as a kid in the 80s and 90s thinking "One day, I'm going to drive a Jeep Wagoneer and own a Christmas tree farm and dress just like that." I just loved the effortless outdoorsy style; similar to the outdoorsy style favored in the PNW where we live, but timeless in a classy, preppy kind of way. So as I hit my 40th birthday this fall, still without said Jeep Wagoneer and Christmas tree farm (apparently I wanted my life to resemble a Hallmark movie, even before that was a thing) I decided it was time to purchase a few Bean items I had been lusting after for quite some time: the Quilted Quarter Zip in Navy, XL was item number one. The color is deep and dark, and the fabric is luxuriously soft. It's kind of ridiculous. The quilting and leather accents add such class, it won't be mistaken for an "everyday" sweatshirt. It can be dressed up or down accordingly. Out of package, it's much larger and looser than I imagined. Knowing it would shrink based on previous reviews, I was also very careful on its first couple washes. Cold, gentle, hang dry. Doing that, no shrinkage. Wanting to achieve a better, more flattering fit, I finally dried it on medium heat with a few other items, for about 35 minutes, then let it hang to finish drying. That did the trick. But I believe I will need to proceed with caution when drying in the future. Just know this going in, follow the care instructions and use your best judgment, and it will be fine. I have worn and washed it about 5 times, and it is holding up well. No tears or premature wear. My expectations remain high for this garment, and I will be purchasing the same style in more colors.

I love everything I've ever gotten at llbean: robe, jackets/fleeces, sheets. Everything is such great quality which is hard to find these days. This sweatshirt is perfect and I want one of each color. Very cozy and flattering. What I also appreciate is that things rarely go on sale. Obviously the listed prices are where they intend to sell the products versus the strategy of everything on huge all the time so you're frustrated chasing sales all the time. Not here. Perhaps you see 15% off promo, very occasionally. Like an actual normal sale. These garments are well worth the listed price.

I like classics and just love this pullover. It has a traditional but youthful look (I'm 70) and the slightly fitted line is wonderfully flattering. The quilted front and back make it look less like than a sweatshirt and more like a sporty but stylish preppy top. I wear it over a collared polo shirt or tee. I bought 3 for myself and - shhhh! Don't tell her! - 1 as a holiday gift for my best friend. She'll love it, too.

Love these sweatshirts. Have 2 Full zips and 3 quarter zips and will live in them this Fall and Winter. The colors are really appealling and blend well with other things. Fit is perfect for me, pockets are roomy. I usually wear fleece in cool weather but with several dogs, I find these much better as they don't collect dog hair.

This pullover is super cozy. Beautiful color and I get a lot of complements on it, have to have it in another color now too! I normally would purchase a petite small, but based off of some reviews of the top being slightly more fitted than anticipated, I went with a regular small and it's perfect!

I bought this pullover to have for work as I am in and out of the office all day. This has been a great layer for me this fall and I am excited to have this for winter. I am super grateful for a pullover that fits my plus size body well and doesn't look frumpy!!!

The color, an autumn red, is beautiful. It is comfy, warm and roomy enough for a turtleneck underneath which looks very good! I am very pleased with this pullover.

Love that it's both comfy and looks nice. Was a little large at first, but shrank when washed/dried.

This sweater is so comfortable. I am usually a small in clothing but I had to return the Reg SM and get an x-sm. I think if I got the Petite in SM, it would have fit fine. I will be purchasing other colors.

So many brands have engineered the cost out of their products. I'm sure LL Bean is doing that somewhere, but not on this purchase. My wife could not be happier with this gift. Perfect fit, top notch quality; this will last many years and of course looks so nice.

I love this pullover. It's very comfortable but looks neat. It's been washed a lot and still looks great. May need to buy one in another color.

It's very soft. Love the teal color. The quilting adds interest. I also got the grey cowel neck and like it just as much, but the neck is very tight and hard to get on. Have to remember to put it on BEFORE styling my hair.

I am so excited and pleased with the comfort & quality of this shirt. I do think it fits a little more roomy than expecting so am glad I tried on in the store & bought a size smaller. If you're looking to layer it for extra warmth or just prefer a roomie & relaxed fit, order your regular size & you should be happy with the fit.

I love this sweatshirt bc it can be casual or dressed up a little. It's comfortable and soft and has pockets!! Washed well and didn't shrink. Very happy with this purchase and will be buying more colors.

I really love this pullover. I debated on whether to order but so glad I did. It fits really well and love pairing it with a pair of jeans. The leather pull and tag make the top. Thank you LLBean for making a great product.

This is such a polished, beautiful sweatshirt that is perfect when you want to look a bit dressier out on your walks around the neighborhood. And yet it is cozy and substantial. I love it and the sleeves are long enough too.

I bought the deep admiral blue (a beautiful teal in person) as well as the royal plum heather thinking I would send back the color I disliked...joke is on me, I kept both of them. You won't regret getting either of these colors; they are both gorgeous for fall and winter. These sweaters are seriously so soft as well!! Great staple pieces for any wardrobe that can easily be dressed up with fancy flats and a nice pair of jeans or dressed down with tennis shoes. As far as fit: if you want a very fitted look order a size down. I ordered my regular size, small, and it's a great piece for throwing over another sweater or shirt. I've washed both multiple times and have been very happy. No shrinking that I've noticed and no pilling, inside or out!
