I really like this denim shirt. I wanted to replace an old, worn-out denim shirt and found this one to be perfect. Usually I would buy a medium petite but I'm glad I bought a large petite as I like to wear this shirt over other shirts as a light jacket. It is made of a nice medium weight denim and fits me perfectly.

I like my shirts long and unfitted so if the "tall shirt" sleeves are 1/2" longer than needed it doesn't matter to me. The shirt is roomy for my bust size--if I choose to button it--I wear most shirts open w/t-shirts. The button holes are tight so the shirt shouldn't "pop open" if one is busty.

I have 2 older denim shirts from LL Bean and I like them but not LOVE them because the sleeves were too short. I ordered the medium denim and the yellow colors in Tall XL and love how they fit in the sleeves and body length. Yes, the button holes are a bit challenging, yes, the pocket edges curled a little after the first wash and dry, but I'll take those negatives for all the positives in fit and comfort. And honestly, I don't really unbutton the shirt except for the top and bottom, and slip it over my head. Is this cheating? Probably, but it works for me. This fits true to size so I can wear a thin (tee or turtleneck) layer underneath and still be comfy. Yay, my wrists will stay warm when the temps drop. Let's hear it for Tall sizes from LL Bean.

I love this classic denim shirt. I ordered a medium, although I usually like a large for layering. The medium is perfect and comfortable. The fabric softened up after a couple washes, minimal if any shrinkage. I love it so much I ordered a second one. I am 5' 3" and weigh 135.

Bought a small petite as I am 5'2'' and 120 lbs. Fits perfectly. I wear it with the sleeves rolled up. It washes well and it the best substitute for a sweatshirt. Goes over a bathing suit just as well as it goes with shorts.

I love this shirt! I ordered a size bigger so it would be a bigshirt. It's soft and comfy and casual.

This is a great denim shirt: A loose fit without being sloppy; two breast pockets; mid-weight denim. I'm in between sizes -- but decided to keep both: one for use as a jacket and one for use as a shirt. Really appreciate the features and quality.

I am happy with this shirt. The petite large was a good fit. Yes, the button holes were tight, and, yes, it had a chemical smell out of the package. The button holes work, and the smell went away when I washed it. The heavier weight of the fabric will help protect my arms when I trim my date palms that have thorns on them.

LOVE this shirt! Especially love that I could get it in tall for my long arms. I had another similar shirt that I wore to death, so it is nice to have a replacement. It's so classic.

Nice weight, good quality denim shirt. I am long waisted so many Bean shirts are way too short for me, happy they offer this in a tall size. Recommend.

This is a really nice shirt and was actually what I had been looking for except for the fact it didn't fit me quite right. It is heavier than I expected as well and I was looking for something more casual for late summer/ early fall.

Looks and fits just like the picture. I am especially pleased with this denim shirt, because the arm length is perfect. My experience with other brands of denim shirts has been that while the fit is great everywhere else, the sleeves always seem to run short, even in Tall sizes. Not with this shirt! I hesitated for that reason, but I am really glad I decided to give this one a try. You won't be disappointed!!

Well made and great staple to any wardrobe. Wanted a shirt I could throw on to combat chilly airconditioning and this shirt is perfect for that.

As with most LL Bean clothing, the fabric and construction of this shirt is good quality. The weight of the fabric makes it more of a shirt jacket, which is what I wanted. The fresh green color is a nice variation on the classic jean jacket. Also, the attention to detail is very good - the buttons are color-coordinated instead of being generic white. Additional buttons come with the shirt as well. I plan to use it spring & autumn, and in summer when I know I'll be blasted by air conditioning.

So pleased with my purchase. Look forward to wearing for many years. It will only get better with time.

Nice, not too heavy, not too flimsy. Use it for jacket, shirt, layering or not. Goes with everything in every season.

I am not tall but ordered this shirt in tall to go over my leggings. It's great. Fabric is good quality. I ordered a medium and the sizing is right on.
