Over the years I have purchased many of these great shirts. Sadly I am noticing that be sizing is not consistent. This was smaller than shirts I bought a few years ago. It went back.

This is a beautiful looking tee and well made but the medium runs a bit tight in the arms and body, and is very short. If I lift up my arms you can see my waist. I usually wear a medium in most tops. I don't know if a large will address the issue of the length.

The fabric and indigo color were nice. The fit didn't work for me. The shirt is short and boxy and became even shorter after washing and drying. Tall size is not available for this style.

Ordered and loved the Pima cotton tanks and short sleeved V neck tops and love their fit and colors. Ordered Medium Petite. However, the long sleeve top was much smaller-length, sleeves and overall fit. Washed all in cool wash and cold rinse. Would suggest ordering 1 size larger for the long sleeve top.

I have purchased LLBean Pima cotton tees for many, many years. In my experience the quality has declined in three ways. The shirts are getting shorter (I can imagine what a company would save by reducing even an inch or two of fabric on each tee sold), in my most recent purchase I see a difference in the heft/weight of the Pima jersey being used - it is definitely lighter and more see through, finally I washed my two new long sleeve Pima's according to directions and they did shrink ...from the bottom up. In my personal experience, as time goes on, the Pima tees always end up looking like a square box. In this last purchase I ordered a size medium hoping the tees would be longer but they were not.

It shrunk up to nothing. I've only worn it twice and cannot wear it anymore. By the charts, I should take a size Medium. I bought a size Large.

I want to love the three shirts I ordered. They fit fine, the colors are bold and beautiful, and the fabric is so soft and rich. However, they are cut VERY short - and I'm not a tall person. I already had tags off and washed a couple of them because I bought the short sleeve versions and they fit fine. I expected these to be the same, but they are not. So disappointed that I spent so much money on something I don't feel good about wearing.

These shirts - I bought three - are very different from the ones I have enjoyed for many years and I don't like them. They are shiny, not as soft and giving and the fit is smaller. I'd return them if I hadn't thrown away all the packaging just assuming they would be like my old ones.

I received two as a Christmas gift. The first couple times I wore them they fit perfectly. The colors were great and the material was not super thin. Now that they have been washed as per your instructions a number of times they are are at least 1 inch too short in the sleeves and way too short in the length. I have similar shirts from other companies that do not shrink like these have. Thankfully I wanted them for layering purposes, so I can still wear them under my flannels, but the can no longer be worn alone which is a shame, as the are pretty nice shirts otherwise.

Fix the shrinkage issue LL Bean! So many loyal customers have been complaining for years about the short length and arm lengths after washing according to your instructions! I came back to see if things have changed and they have not! I will not buy again until I see this issue fixed!

I bought this shirt in beach glass. It is a beautiful color and I love the soft, smooth feel of the Supima cotton. I really wish I could keep it, but it is cut very tight and narrow for someone who has a Rubenesque figure. I wish LL Bean designers would design the plus size tops to be A-shaped or more like the men's XXXL regular, so that plus size women have more room for our bellies and hips. My husband wears an XXXL in regular and his t-shirts fit me better than the LL Bean plus sizes. I may have to start wearing men's t-shirts.
Also, the description of this shirt says it's crewneck, but the one I received is not a crewneck. It is very wide like a boat neck shirt and shows my bra straps. Something I usually try to avoid.
I hope the designers of LL Bean women's plus size clothes will read this and design their plus sizes better for Rubenesque women. Thanks!

I've purchased many women's pima cotton long-sleeve crewneck tees over the years and one thing that has never changed--they are always too short (sleeves and overall length). It's unfortunate that they aren't offered in tall sizes.

I bought 2 of these tees. I have bought many cotton tees in the same size from LLBean over the years. These are made of thinner material and not from the same pattern. These are too tight, especially after washing according to directtions. I plan to return them both.

This is going back. I bought these years ago and wanted some new ones however the quality is not the same. The weight of the fabric is much thinner (only good for layering) and it is short in the torso. Not at all what I expected.

I liked the quality of this shirt and it fit nicely on my torso. However I do not recommend as the cut is terrible. The sleeves and the bottom need to be longer for it to fit well. I typically buy everything else in M as well so the sizing appears correct.

This item was a bit tight after being washed in cold water and line dried. Sleeves could be more roomy

The soft pima cotton is really nice, but unfortunately the shirt has some fit and laundering problems. I found the sleeves way too narrow especially at the wrist area, which made it difficult to push them up when desired. The length shrunk considerably in a warm dryer and I don't think an expensive tee shirt should have to be handled so delicately that it can't be put in a dryer. The medium would probably be too boxy in the torso and still too tight in the sleeves, given the way the small (my usual size) fits.

The material is very comfortable however after the first washes following the label, the shirts are now too short. Unable to wear.

I machine wash and air dry but the shirts, all of them and I bought 6, lose their shape by shrinking in length and widening in width. I will not buy this product again.
