These are cut small, I returned both of the ones I bought. The colors and the fabric were nice though. Just be careful when you order.

I ordered five t-shirts from LL Bean. All in black, all in the same size. Clearly, the search was on for "the" t-shirt for all so that I could buy ahead. Sadly, all five are going back for the exact same reason: even with a petite, these are just so unflattering because of the length. Matronly, frumpy, dumpy, etc., - all things that may be true about me (I think not, but maybe they are), but these tees just make it so much worse. Here's the deal LL Bean: We petites need shorter tees. There is nothing modern or flattering about these fits. And of the five, this was one of the two the least flattering, tied with the elbow-length tee. There are only TWO LL Bean tees that I've been able to find that look good. The Saturday tees and the organic v-necks. All others, just no. These tees are a couple of inches longer than the Saturday tees. Note how many petites say in the reviews that the Saturday tees are the perfect length. LL Bean, we wrote that for a reason. That reason is for the LL Bean buyers to find that length for us. If you don't want to do that, then please, at least give us more Saturday tees in more colors. I know that some LL Bean shoppers want those to be longer, but in the name of all that is not frumpy, please leave petites with at least one tee that we can wear without looking more matronly, dumpy, frumpy than needed. Women are judged enough in this world, and ageism is on top of that. Clothes can and do make a difference. Please LL Bean, help those of us who are smaller than average size look as good as possible, too.

I recently ordered several Women's Pima Cotton Long-sleeve tees, with varied results. I loved and kept the navy blue, but sent back the black. It was made incorrectly, with a very short bodice section. Things like this have happened before with LL Bean products. Very disappointing to have to send back so many items. Unfortunately as a Petite customer, I am forced to ordering online, as the stores don't have a vary large petite section.

I normally love the quality of LL Bean, and I wanted just a plain black long-sleeve tee. When this arrived, it fit fine. But after just ONE washing, it is now too short to wear. I think it shrunk at least two inches. If I sit down, it no longer even covers the top of my jeans. I wish there was a longer option available.

Nice soft fabric, but the shoulders are super narrow and the sleeves are short. I normally wear small but this was too small. Ironically, the other 2 small items in my order were HUGE. It's sad how inconsistent LLBean's sizing has become.

I'm short (5'1"). I bought size 1x. Normally, plus size clothes fit me very long in the torso and almost all my shirt sleeves fall longer than my fingertips, but this shirt is VERY short. The sleeves stop two inches BEFORE my wrist. And the torso length shows 1 inch of my stomach. As a short person, I *never* have this problem, not even with petite clothes. Something is definitely wrong with the length of this shirt.

I Purchased a total of four of these T-shirts, some long sleeve some three-quarter length sleeve some white, and some with color. As much as I love the fabric, these shirts shrink. They shrink enough to make the shoulders and arm length perfect but the length of the shirt hits just at the bottom of my belly button which is about 2 inches too short. You need to know this before purchasing.

Sleeves are excessively tight on these shirts. Prior year shirts are not so tight. Will not buy again.

I am 5 ft 4, 120 pounds. I'm fit but not an athlete. The sleeves on the pima cotton long sleeve tees are much too tight for my upper arms. Unless you have thin biceps I suggest you order one of the other styles. The material and construction is nice.

I love the material, feel and colors of these shirts. But, the body length shrinks making them a return! I am under 5' and under 120 lbs. so the sizing is OFF. Oddly the sleeve length stays true. I purchased 3 different colors, all with the same results.

I usually am pleased with LLBean clothing. However, the sleeves on this tee are VERY small! I have skinny arms and the sleeves are tight on me.

I ordered these to wear under winter clothes and was expecting a trim but comfortable fit in my usual size (XS). Sadly the shirts are too small, too short, and too tight. The lower arm of the sleeve is like putting on leggings, and the high neck cut isn't flattering. Since they run short, the shirt tag (on the lower side of the shirt) digs into my side. I needed them for a trip so I kept them, but I regret not sending them back immediately. They are going into the charity bag.

After ten years of buying pima tees, this is the first that doesn't fit well. It is more than an inch narrower from armhole to armhole across the upper chest. I hope this was a one-time error and not a permanent change.

How about some better colors, Cobalt blue or a Violet Navy blue or a beehive yellow gold.

Different in sizing , odd- with the same style shirt. I bought a short sleeved shirt. Thinking the long sleeve shirt would fit the same. Same size and all . Nope!! I put the shirt on at home, did not fit right. Fitting is not consistent at LLBean.

The shirt is almost too short, and I'm 5' 5". The material is not as soft and stretchy as I was hoping.

I've purchased many of these shirts and the issue is they don't fit the same, even though I'm purchasing the medium size. The chest and sleeves fit fine on one shirt and the next one they are too tight in the chest, too short in the sleeves. Where is your quality control? It's certainly lacking! And returning the shirt is a pain. It takes so long to reach you, get checked in and replacements sent. It's faster to drive to the closest LL Bean store, that isn't that close, return the shirts and get the credit. And then to order new ones online, since the store never carries these shirts. Please do better, LL Bean or you've lost a long-time customer. You need someone checking the shirts and ensuring their consistency.

The fabric is very nice and the shoulders and body are reasonably well-fitting. However the sleeves were about 1" too short. I am 5' 6" tall and ordered regular fit so it was disappointing

I read the reviews on shrinkage and ordered a size up. However the body of of the shirt still shrank up to an unwearable lenght. I recommend ordering a size up and long if you normally order regular lenght. Fabric is very nice, but fit is completely off.

I bought the gorgeous dusty purple in PS, my usual LL Bean Tee size. I'm 5'1, 124lbs, 34B. It smelled awful, so I washed in cold, and tumble dried low, and it still shrank a full 2 inches in length, and 1 in width! Off to my local store tomorrow to return. Either size up, or never wash it!

I like the color but it was just too tight. I have found LL Bean sizes are all over the place.
