Fabric was great as always. The petite was not. Both the sleeves and the length was about 2 inches longer than my other Bean petites

When brand new, these Pima tees are wonderful. However, after careful washing on delicate cycle with cold water & drying on low heat until damp dry, they always shrink in length. After laundering 8 to 10 times & losing their shape, I donate them to charity. I continue to buy two to four of these tees every year because I haven't found better quality 100% cotton ones in colors I need. Oh, well.

I received this item. The color was beautiful. The material was very soft. The Size was not true to size. It ran very tight. So I ordered the next size up. I hope it is just as nice.

Had to return because the sleeves were too tight. I'm a petite 90 lb woman and I don't know what they were thinking when they made it. I've bought a lot of clothes from LLBean over the years and it's not usually a problem. Pretty color. Well made. Fit well everywhere else.

I love LL Bean quality, but I have to say I purchased several of these in different colors and they are awesome til you wash them. All of them are now 3/4 length sleeves and almost cropped length on me. Perhaps I should have bought a tall, if it's even available? The material is soft and comfy, but why do they shrink so much when washed in cold water? I will have to return these and seek an alternate option. Mind you, I am only 5'7", so I am average height, not tall. I wish these would have worked out for the better :(

I love the fabric. Soft and substantial, not clingy at all. But I am 5'6" and the shirt length is just too short and the sleeves are at least an inch and a half above my wrist bone (after washing). LL Bean needs to make longer length shirts (low hip) and sleeves or to offer tall sizes in shirts (although I'm not really THAT tall and I would hate having to pay $5 more). I'm returning it.

The shirt is super soft and comfy, but when I followed washing/drying instructions, it still shrank about an inch and a half or so. If it shrinks any more, it will be too short to wear. Very, very disappointing. Also, the women's sizes have such limited color choices compared to the misses, which isn't fair.

Over the years I have bought a number of Bean's all-cotton crew and turtleneck shirts. Lately the fabric weight seems to have diminished. I want a cotton shirt that does not require multiple layers to provide coverage and warmth. Bean used to offer such a shirt. No more. My latest purchase is a butter yellow cotton crewneck. I wear a Bean tank undershirt, then the new crewneck, and a cotton sweater to feel comfortable. Why does Bean skimp on the weight of its tee shirt fabric?..."Layering" lets retailers sell more "upper body" items while using flimsier materials in each one. Quality is slipping. Really beef up the weight of your cotton tee shirt fabric and I'll be a happy L.L. Bean customer again.

I ordered this T in two colors. The first one was fine, very ccmfortable, especially for a stouter figure. The second was fine fit wise, but the left seam had a 5" gap in it. I sewed it shut, but it isn't a pretty seam. Other than that, it's a t-shirt.

Nice shirt, but thinner cotton and tighter fit than ones previously purchased

I have worn these shirts for years and I love the pima cotton. I was VERY disappointed when LLBean discontinued the v-neck style of this shirt! I hope they will bring it back. Many of my shirts that I have worn for years are beginning to wear-out and I need to replace them. I would order them in many colors IF they bring back the v-neck style. Otherwise, I will be forced to seek out v-neck styles (in long sleeves) from another company. Please, please! bring back the v-neck! (that is why I only gave the rating an "average" for the crewneck).

LOVE this shirt! The colors are great and the fit is wonderful BUT once I washed and dried them, the length shrunk about 1-2 inches......They are still super comfortable but too short for my preference....Regardless, will always remain a HUGE fan of LLBean

I love LL Bean's Pima Cotton long sleeved tees and have ordered several through the years. Since they were on sale I ordered two black tees in medium. I am so disappointed in my purchase. One tee fits perfectly, but the other one is so baggy, too large through the shoulders and a little too short. I have no idea why there is such a discrepancy in these two black tees that are exactly alike and the same size. I will return the one, but will not reorder it. This must be a fluke because LL Bean's clothes have always fit me. However, this spring I will buy more pima cotton tees for they launder beautifully and hold up for a long time.

The petal color is beautiful. However, sizing is a bit difficult for me. Medium is a bit too tight while the large that I ordered is a bit too big. The sleeves are also very long. They come past my knuckles. Others may not have my issues. I would advise my friends about the sizing before recommending. It would be nice if your clothes were made in the U.S.A. Believe it or not I have some LL Bean clothes that are over 10 years old and they still look and fit great. Thank you.

The shirt is nice quality material and long enough, but for a crew neck, it's more of a scoop neck. May return, but like the color (charcoal gray), which is hard to find.

I ordered this top in white to wear with my scrubs at work (I'm a RN). The fabric is really nice, but it is cut a little short in my opinion. I'm 5'8" and not long waisted. The top won't stay tucked in when I bend over, so I find it a little uncomfortable and am constantly retucking it. The sleeves are plenty long, so I'm not sure why it's cut shorter in the length. Disappointed.

I love this tee except I'm tired of cutting the tags out of their shirts. I just bought five new tops and had to sit there and cut all the tags out. As I was sitting there cutting them out I was thinking, "this is ridiculous, I'm not going to keep doing this." LLBean's tee's (and most tops) don't have tags at the back of their shirts but they have one or (usually) two tags on the left side just above the waist. They irritate my side and it's most annoying, constantly pulling at it as it's itching me. These tags cause irritation on my skin. I much prefer totally tag free shirts.

I was hoping for something that had a little more weight to it, it seems thin to me, and tho I'll keep it, I don't know that I'd buy another one. I would love to know why the fabric on women's clothing is so different from men's, why so much thinner? We get cold too...

I purchased 3 Misses size large long sleeve Pima cotton tees. The colbalt one fit well but the petal and the white ones were too tight. I measured each one across the chest at the bottom of the armhole. The cobalt one was 22.75 inches while the petal and the white were 21.75 inches. I'm disappointed in the lack of consistency.

The women's Pima Cotton Tee, Long Sleeve Crewnecks are well constructed and long-lasting but I think they're cut too short. Also, the material is wonderfully soft but very thin so a T-shirt bra is needed with the lighter colors. The Brightwater Blue is a gorgeous, pale Robin's-Egg-Blue color. I cold-water wash and line-dry these shirts. The description says "tumble dry low" but I tried that and the shirt's length shrunk considerably.

I bought these shirts to replace long-sleeve Pima Cotton Tees that I bought from LL Bean years ago. Sadly, those old (favorite) shirts are finally getting holes in them. The "slightly fitted" style is too tight. The only way I can get these shirts to fit me through the shoulders is to order size large, but then the sleeves are way too long. I still have old Bean long sleeve tees, size medium, that fit beautifully. What gives? And the fabric feels thin. Just not up to the quality I've come to expect from LL Bean over the years.

I purchased this exact shirt a month ago and love it, soft and very wearable. Just bought another in the exact same size - XS regular - and it's so short, it's nearly a crop top. Disappointing that it's so inconsistent. I clicked to reorder the one previously purchased and the tags are exactly the same so it makes no sense. But now I will have to pay to return the new shirt and won't be buying again due to the inconsistent sizing. Sad because I loved the first one.

I loved this shirt when I received it. I love the color and softness of the shirt. However when I washed it the length shrunk substantially. I much preferred the unwashed length! I was going to order the same shirt in several colors but not after experiencing the shrinkage.

I usually wear a Petite Medium and bought that size. I found it too short in the body and the sleeves too tight in the arm area below the elbow. I returned the Petite Medium for a regular medium. The length was good but still the sleeves between the elbow and wrist were too snug. I will say the pale pink was a lovely color and the fabric fantastic. Overall had to send it back due to fit. I will mention my arms are not large or muscular. I am 5'2" and weigh 125. I think my arms are normal average size.

I bought several of these tees and loved the colors and the feel of the fabric. I foolishly wore them each once before washing them all at the same time. They all shrank to an alarming degree. I expected the petite small size to fit perfectly. It did, until I washed and dried them according to the directions. The sleeves ended up 2" above my wrists, and the length no longer allowed for tucking into my jeans. Returning them all.
