The fabric is wonderfully soft for a t shirt! However, the color and fit are odd. I purchased the Cobalt Blue and its really more like a Deep Periwinkle and looks like a bright purple instead of a blue. I order the Petite XL and the bodice is a good fit and has a short waist but the sleeves are ab out 3 inches too long considering it's a petite. I would order again but this will probably become a wear-around-the-house shirt and not one I'd wear out in public because of how long the sleeves are because it looks weird.

These Pima Cotton Tees are my go to shirts and tee shirts, for many uses and occasions. Depending upon the style and use, I wear a L-XL, Regular or Petite, most often a PL. I hope that LL Bean continues to make these shirts forever; multi-purpose, easily washed, last for several years. My criticism here is that the description of the color is just wrong. Periwinkle is a blue, with a touch of purple, making the color a version of purplish blue. This Periwinkle Sky color is a true medium red purple, not a good color for me. Luckily, my niece looks good in purple, and so I gifted it to her. Keep making these in more colors. I would have kept a true Periwinkle Blue.

Love the texture of the tee. Glossy, sleeves a tad too long. Biggest issue length of body. I have a tummy and need shirts a little longer. Thanks.

Love these tees, but hesitate to buy more because of the color selection. I am a "warm" person and prefer to wear warm colors. Please consider including warm Autumn colors. I will be much more apt to buy all of your tee shirt styles. Thanks.

I really like this tee in white but I wish that it would come in tan, ivory, gray and navy. I wear neutrals and this would make wonderful additions to my wardrobe.

Love the quality cotton fabric...own multiple units in black...please rethink your color choices or get some color guidance from a fashion expert... Consider seasonal changes keeping the basics black & white...I think you will double or triple your biz if you do so...Also, based on experience, the tees shrink in length, making them short for anyone 5ft 5" or taller...so having alternative length should be worth a test run...You could send out a questionnaire to all your customers that invest in this fabric asking their opinion as to what they want & your buying office can evaluate the priorities??? Just a thought...

I love these shirts. I wear them every single day, winter and summer, and I even sleep in them. The only problem is that the length is too short, even though I am short waisted and don't dry them in a dryer. If you had a tall size, I would order it. Please make the regular ones longer! Thank you!

I like these shirts and have several of them (both the long-sleeved crew and the tank). The shirts don't last quite as long as they used to. The fabric seems a bit thinner now. Why did you discontinue Petal Pink?! Please bring it back!

This is my favorite shirt, even though it's a little bit short. Why don't you make it in different colors? Few of your plus sized shirts come in pale yellow, mint green or even shell pink. Tall women like colors other than navy and black. I'd love to see you work with a color consultant and select colors that are actually flattering. The dark green isn't a nice color at all. Why not make this in a pretty sage green or a pale gold. Perhaps a shade that resembles the soft shade of pumpkin pie batter before it's baked. Your color palette really lacks imagination.

The slick surface and tight weave made this too warm for me. I have always been an outdoors person, so I get warm quickly when clothing doesn't breathe. It would work for a dressy t-shirt. I embroidered one for the captain's table on a cruise a few years ago. It does get better after several washing but still warm.

I wear them under sweaters. They come in so many colors. I like to travel with them.

These shirts are so soft and launder beautifully. Never had them shrink, but I only put in dryer on low for about 5-6 mins, just to get out any wrinkles. My biggest complaint with the Pima is that any pin (like a flag tac pin, etc.) will leave a hole in the fabric-not happy about that. It's happened on all three Pima shirts I have, but doesn't happen on the regular cotton shirts. However, since I always wear my little flag pin, I try to get it in the same hole each time! So far, so good!

This past year I have replaced many of the crew neck tshirts in my closet, the reasons being either for updated color selection or shrinkage of my old shirts. Tshirts are a staple in my wardrobe, and L.L. Bean, in my opinion, has the best quality on the market at this price level. The L.L. Bean pima cotton tshirts are soft and smooth and look nice alone or under a sweater. The neckband stays neat looking after washing. I am 5' 4" tall, weigh 130 lbs and wear a size small. The fit is perfect. My only suggestion about these shirts is I wish they were about an inch or so longer. I would be happy to pay a little more for a shirt that can be tucked and stay tucked, if I choose to wear it under a sweater. It looks neater. I wash my shirts and then hang to dry. I never put them in the dryer which, for me, is not a problem. However, they still shrink a very small amount (1/4"-1/2") so what starts out as a reasonable but not optimal length becomes less so.....I know it's hard to please everyone with fit, but, for me, a relatively short person, I would prefer a slightly longer length. So L.L.Bean......a little more length next year?

I love this shirt. It doesnt shrink and feels really good when i wear it. However there is one drawback. I have washed this red shirt two times and the red comes off on my underclothes!! Everything is red!! I wish you could somehow fix this.

I like the feel of this material. The only problem I have is w/the neckline. Being older (74+) I usually wear cuddle duds under my tops in the cold weather, but the neckline allows the under garment to peek out at the edges. I'd like something w/a little more of a crew neckline. I had one of LLB's crewneck styles which worked well for this concern, but it doesn't come in petite so the sleeves were way too long.

This used to be a great T-shirt. The cotton is still soft and very high quality. I have purchased at least 5 of these and they have worn well. In years past, I would have given the shirt 5 stars but this time, I'm giving only 4 stars due to the very tight sleeves on the forearm part of the sleeve. I weigh 120 pounds and found the sleeves very tight. Are they trying to save fabric? Don't get why the shirt is made this way! Too bad because it's a wonderful shirt at a great price.

I try to have these long sleeve tops in several colors as I wear almost daily under sweaters and vests here in the NE. I really like this one due to its being tagless....hate that itch at the back of my neck! The sleeve length is perfect for me, not too short. I wash them without any problems and only use a medium dryer for 10 minutes and then hang up to dry the rest of the way. No ironing necessary.

I wish L.L.Bean would offer a wider range of colors, especially in more natural colors and with softer shades. These primary colors are nice, but ordinary. The shirt fits well, the pima cotton is comfortable, and I applaud L.L.Bean for having some clothing available for those of us who are short.

I have purchased several of these shirts during the past few years and would have given them all 5 stars. The fabric on this shirt is just as nice as before, but the sleeves are tighter and feel constricting when arms are bent. The shirt is simply not as comfortable as previous versions.

I appreciate the quality of this shirt. It is made of a nice weight cotton --- not the thin and skimpy kind that you can find elsewhere. Overall, I am happy with the shirt.

Thank you for finally offering Yellow! I like these shirts. The cotton is soft and smooth, drapes nicely and fits perfectly. I just think the bound neckline looks cheap. Much better neck on the Bean's Tee.

I love the material, it is very soft and comfortable. I washed it separately, inside-out in cold water and had no issues with shrinkage as some of the other reviews have noted. I did find that the second time I wore it, the color transferred onto my bra, I was able to get most of it out by washing. I am hoping that after a third wash, I won't have this issue. I really love the shirt but gave it 4 instead of 5 stars due to the color transfer issue.

This shirt holds in shape after washing and fits well. Needs to be ironed if that is something that matters to you.
