The perfect T! Soft on the shoulder, not clingy but not over sized. Washes and dries beautifully. I bought the other colors I liked this one so much. Now I need it in white or ivory!!

Very soft and comfortable. Pretty color and light fabric..love the beautiful detailing on the soulders, very unusual and classy. I would buy more of these.

These tops are great for working out in. They wear well and keep me cool in cycling class. They run a little big. I'm usually PL, but PM fits better in this shirt.

I love this shirt. I bought several colors. It is easily causal or dressed up a bit. Machine washable then tumble dry on low just a few minutes then hang immediately on a drip dry hanger for wash and wear ease.

I was so sad when L.L. Bean restyled its original Trail Tee (renaming it Streamside), which used to be a step above the average, plain tee, by offering an angled ruching detail below the shoulders. When I saw this new style, I jumped. Here, the ruching is on top of the shoulders (more like accordion gathering than a gentle ruching), and the cap sleeves are shorter, but this is still a super cute tee, with that little added something that keeps it from being a just a boxy old tee. Instead of a slubbed 96% polyester (which pills and requires using a sweater stone), this cotton blend has a nice weight that feels silky and drapes beautifully. It's perfect in hot weather! I've worn and washed these tops several times and there has been no pilling. I wash in cold, shake out, and drape over a drying rack with no wrinkles. I'm surprised other reviewers are calling the fabric sheer. I didn't find that to be the case with Carbon Navy, Light Gray Heather, Nautical Aqua, Muted Purple, or Rose Wash. I do agree that this top runs large. I ordered down one size, and it was body skimming without being too snug or too baggy. Do note that if you buy the long sleeve version of the Beyond Soft tee, it has no special details (no ruching), and the sleeves run snug in the upper arms.

I'm between an XL and a 1X; the XL is comfortably loose on me. I'm short, and the XL Petite is just the right length (I'm 5'1") to keep my belly covered in all positions. As others have noted, this is dressier than just a t-shirt (and I'm a couple decades and many pounds away from walking around in a tank top in public). I absolutely love the soft, lightweight fabric (I'm in the permanent hot flash stage of life). Lightweight, loose, doesn't hug my middle-aged belly. I've purchased all colors which look good on me: carbon navy (multiple shirts), light gray heather, midnight black (several), and lilac.

Comfortable. Washes well. I hang to dry to prevent shrinkage.

This blouse ran a little larger than I expected. I normally wear a large and had to exchange for a medium. The colors are so pretty and material cool and soft for easy comfort in the heat of summer. Definitely recommend and would purchase again.

This free flowing cap sleeve t-shirt is incredibly soft. I also like the gathered detail on the shoulders. It's well made and very comfortable.

I bought one of these last year and loved it. Love the one I got this year too. Probably I would give it a 4.5 because it can only be dried at no heat. That doesn't make sense to me so I just line dry. They run a bit large but that suits me fine. I like loose clothing during the hot months.

A slightly longer t-shirt then most. It's got wonderful stretch & give. It fits well, (ordered large I'm 5-3/165 lbs). I wear it with leggings and straight pants. Very comfortable and washes well, not wrinkly at all. (Dry on low, promptly removed from dryer).

Soft, easy fitting sleeveless tee, with just enough of a cap sleeve. The shirring on the shoulder gives it a bit of interest.

Awesome design. This is the best T shirt I have purchased in a long, long time. Love the shorter sleeves and the top of the shoulders. The light weight is perfect for summer in the South. Home run for LLBean and me.

It's a good-looking top, as comfortable as a tee shirt but much nicer-looking. I'm 5'8", 140 lbs. First ordered size large and decided medium was a better fit. I may get another!

Great summer go to top. Versatile & comfy. I dress it up with a scarf for dinner. Drapes nicely. I love it. Bought in teal, also.
