I love these UPF 50 sun shirts. They're great for anything outdoors as they dry fast and keep me protected from the sun.

I have 5 of these in different colors because they are the best! They are lightweight, therefore cool for those sunny days. The best feature is the thumbhole so that the back of your hand is protected from the sun too! I horseback ride in these and they have held up to some pretty hard wear and tear. I hope they continue making these for years to come because I will keep buying them! Thanks for a great product LL Bean!

This shirt is perfect for biking or any sport when you are in the sun for many hours. the sleeves are long and have a thumb cut-out which keeps the sleeve covering all of your arm and even your hand. It is soft and does not stick to the body with sweat.

I love it! Took it on a vacation to the Oregon coast, where high temps were in the 50s. It was perfect to wear! Lightweight, comfortable, washes easily. I like the thumb holes, which enables sleeves to cover the backs of my hands.

This is the first crewneck Sun Smart Tee I have bought in petite and I couldn't be happier. I own three others in regular and they are best for winter under a long sweater or just to wear to bed. Petite sizing has made all the difference to me I will be taking mine with me on a trip in the fall. I'm writing this review for two reasons: the first is to let everyone know how happy I am with the soft, light-weight, wrinkle free material, the fit, and the beautiful purple color; and the second reason is to request more petite sizes in any color, especially light gray. Thank you for this terrific shirt, LL Bean . I'm hopeful that you'll offer more petite options in the future.

Soft material, very comfy with light weight material. Love the option to pull the sleeves over your hand with the thumb hole and that I don't need to douse myself with sunscreen.

This shirt is everything I had hoped it would be. I have a strong sensitivity to direct sunlight, which makes it difficult for me to enjoy the great outdoors. Wearing this shirt, I can now enjoy every season of the year. Also sensitive to heat, I was concerned that it would insulate too much. But, the opposite is true! My body heat escapes readily, and I can feel breezes moving through the fabric readily. Overall, I actually feel cooler and more comfortable in this than I would in a light summer top!

Got two of these shirts for a trip to Europe and they were everything they were described to be -- soft, comfortable and quick dry. What I particularly like is that the fabric looks like cotton. It's not shiny and slippery like some of the cheap, quick-dry fabrics. My only complaint is that "mineral red" is not red at all, but salmon pink.

I needed a shirt for hiking that would protect my arms and hands from the sun. This shirt is perfect. The fabric is so soft, it breathes if there is a breeze, and I love the thumb holes and that it covers the back of my hands where I am getting brown spots from sun damage. I have been comfortable at temperatures between 60 degrees and 75 degrees. I'm hoping it won't be too warm as the temperatures climb this summer, but it felt like 75 is the warmest I can stand in this shirt.

Perfect fit, comfy lightweight enough for warm weather while giving sun protection.

I wore this in Trinidad on a River Tour and my skin was happy to be protected. No sunburn for me!

Love the feel of this fabric! It's cooling, but not clingy or staticky like other wicking fabrics can be. Cannot wait to buy more in other colors!

I love these shirts. Have one in blue & one in gray. They are a super layering shirt for winter. I wear them several times a week. They fit well. They are made well. The colors I have work well with other shirts I wear. They aren't hot if wearing alone in spring or fall. They are soft & comfortable. A nice addition when a flannel shirt alone isn't enough.

Great color, fits well. Good value. The material is soft and comfortable unlike many sunscreen shirts. Washed well & line dried quickly.

I ordered this shirt on sale adding it on to get free shipping. It's so comfy and soft. It's warm enough on cool'sh days and will be great for layering, because it's ultra thin. I just ordered 2 more. Also, love the color--got the pink/lilac tone, and ordered teal and light blue. Traveling soon and these will be a great addition. Haven't noticed pilling, but I've only washed about three times (and dried in dryer--doesn't shrink).

I love the Sun Smart tees, and fabric, both men's and women's. I wear them year round--they are wonderfully cool and wicking in summer and a perfect base layer in cooler weather. Super for travel and camping as they are "stink free" and dry faster than any other garment if hand washed or swum in. I had to go up a full size in this one, however.

This shirt is great for the sun as well as an early morning walk.
