The woman's streamside short sleeve splitneck surpised me. When I took it out of the bag I almost put it back to return. It looked huge. I tried it on and filled it out. If you're well endowed you might want to rethink the split neckline. I only ordered it because it was on the daily markdown. I have one in another color from last season, I never wore. This shirt is roomier but not baggy. The shirt is longer in the back, which is not bad. The sleeves are cuffed which look better than just a plain or capped sleeve. These geometric designs seem to me the thing this year. I'm not big on patterned shirts but it's ok. I gave it 4 stars because I don't care for the white stitching down the middle of the shirt. It's not as bad looking as the small cloth pockets on fleece vests and winter outerwear. I'm buying short sleeve shirts to wear with camp pants and the price was right. On the good side, it's the only LLBean shirt, blouse or dress I've ordered (and returned) with a modest split neck. I'm keeping this shirt and ordering other colors if they are marked down.

The size I have is a medium petite. I am short at 5"0" so it is not too long in length. I love the rolled sleeves and length is long enough to cover 1/2 of my bottom. The big problem is the v neck is very low. I had it shortened in length by sewing it together 1 inch from bottom of v neck!

I really like this shirt, but I did need to modify the v-neck a bit as it came down a bit lower than I would like. I also would have liked a little bit more length - just an inch. Hey, not everything is perfect for everyone and I might even buy more of these next year if I like any new colors.

I like the print and the fit--perfect for hot summer days!

I live in hot, humid Florida and am also a menopausal 53 year old and don't care for cotton tops anymore. I have found that I much prefer technical fabrics that keep one cool. I really liked the look of these tops and the fact that they are pretty stylish looking. They fit true to size. The only thing I wish is that they were just a bit longer in length. I'm tall and have a long torso so it's important to me that my tops are not too short. Otherwise, I am very happy with these and may go back and try a few more colors.

Only complaint was that it was too large. I'm a medium size person, tall, athletic, but ordered a small after reading the reviews that it runs large. Too roomy in the midsection, and loose across the shoulders. I don't want skin tight of course, but it was far from skin tight, just felt and looked way too big. Returned it. Did not exchange it, afraid the xs would be too small! Material was nice, it was pretty, but looked like I was in my big sister's shirt, kind of a bowling shirt fit.

The fabric on this top is very soft and a little heavier than I expected. This past few months I have been losing weight, I purchased a large because I was between a medium and large before losing the weight but now am wearing a medium in most clothes I have recently purchased from LL Bean. I would say this is a generous cut top. If you are between sizes I would say go down a size

I've gotten wonderful shirts from LLBean and this one is, too. Good fit, comfortable, nice print, soft.

This T fits great and looks more put together than a regular T-shirt. I like the v-neck style with cuffed sleeves. However, I got the green/teal print and my husband says the neckline with the bold pattern looks like hospital scrubs. Oh well - I like it and am keeping it. I will say, though, I don't wear this shirt when I know I have video calls at work that day because the pattern is too busy.

Did not have an XL, so I took a chance

The print on the shirt you sent me isn't the one in the picture above, and it was actually a darker color than I thought it would be, but I liked it anyway, and it fits perfectly and is cool for summer. So I already wear it a lot!

I loved the 1st two I bought and added 2 more to my wardrobe. I feel as if wearing a dressed up tee. They are so soft, wash beautifully, and never, never need ironing. I am someone who irons just about everything. I usually wear a large top and 12 bottom, but found the medium a better fit and it's still a little forgiving through the shoulders. I am a very happy shopper and would recommend this top to anyone.

The fabric and style and print are great but I bought a XS Regular and it is much too big!! So much so that I think it might be labeled incorrectly as to size.

I originally bought this shirt in the petite XL. I found the fit across the shoulders to large. I exchanged it for the Reg Large. I love the bright color as my family can easily spot the slow hiker on the trail. The shirt was comfortable on a very hot and humid hike. The shirt washed up nicely. I line dry my tees and this one dried nicely. i bought a second one in the Grey Lilac color. These shirts are really nice enough to wear off trail too.

Nice, lightweight tee. Washes nicely, no need to iron. Generously sized

This top is exactly what it claims to be: soft, quick drying and comfy. I might have been able to wear a medium but I hate things that cling to me. I do wish it weren't quite as long as it is - I'd like it to fall a bit higher on my hips but it's not terribly long. I bought a couple of them for the hot humid weather of summer in New England and I think it will do just fine. Time will tell if they are going to wear well - the material is really really lightweight.

This is a nice upgrade in styling from a t-shirt but just as comfortable. Fit is a touch loose and long, but I like my tops that way. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the V neck is cut quite low. I stitched the two layers together, through the top-stitching of the neck binding, to keep them from splaying open more than I wanted, and now it's very attractive. The fabric seems to be a good quality and has not shown any signs of stretching or twisting over several washings.

I really like this shirt. Have it in turquoise and grey, too! I love a pull on that can be worn with just about anything! Comfortable and looks nice out of the dryer.

It fits a little long and loose but overall pretty good. I have a long torso so I appreciate the extra length. L. L. Bean tops fit me a little loose around the middle. This one is not as bad as some. Sometimes they are too short. I was surprised that this one was just right.

This is my second year ordering this style. The vee neck and cap sleeves are flattering. Normally I order a petite medium, but this shirt is generous, & the vee would have been too low cut for an everyday shirt. Cut is somewhat marginal already for a petite person. The fabric is perfect weight for summer, light enough to be cool, but not too sheer.

I like the shirt very much. The fabric is attractive, and comfortable. I chose the aqua. The fit is flattering. Before purchasing, I wasn't sure whether to get the large or the xl. I have large breasts and I don't like my clothes to be clingy to accentuate that fact. I chose the large and the fit is fine. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars is the seam that runs down the front and the back in the center. The shirt would be much more attractive if it were made without that center seam.

Really lovely shirt--great styling, the print is subtle but dynamic, color (I bought blue) is just right. I would have given it 5 stars except I had to add a hook-and-eye (or snap; I've done this before on LL Bean shirts, and they're worth it) because I am more modest than current styles allow.

It runs a little large for me, but is very pretty. It's not so big that the v-neck exposes too much dcolletage, but the shoulder seams are a bit off my shoulders. Very nice fabric, and a pretty print. Washed up well.

the color is more faded than the photo suggested it would be, but it's comfortable and fits fine.

This shirt fits beautifully but the fabric pulls very quickly. I machine wash and only hang dry.
