The fabric an vest itself is nice, but it is very long.

Very much dislike prominent patch on left chest advertising LL Bean. Could not get beyond that feature.

I'm 5'1" and 125 lbs, ordered petite small and it was way too big, so I returned it and found a different vest locally.

It's not very flattering on. I'm 5'3'' 110 lbs and the XS is gigantic. I don't like how it looks at all but I guess I can wear it somwhere...maybe.

Material quality is very good, however, the pocket on the front stands out too muchkind of screaming out. "this is a pocket, please take what I have in it!" I sent it back.

I have two that I bought when there was only a small logo on the left hip - love them. Wanted more colors but not with the large odd colored chest logo.

This vest is soft and warm but it is not flattering. Removing the chest patch pocket helps a lot, so it doesn't look like a uniform identity badge. The old, shorter style, with the princess seams, was much more attractive. The slit pockets are deeper on the new vest; and are perfect for carrying a cell phone.

When you look at this vest all you see is a ridiculous solid pocket in the oddest place. Llbean should either eliminate or blend with same color/fabric as vest. Runs extremely large!

I bought this because I thought it would be the same "sweater" fabric as the sweater fleece sweater I bought last year but it is quite a bit heavier. Not what I need, sending it back. I'd love a vest in the lighter weight.

It started to pill after a few washes. So I sent it back.

I received a vest that had clearly been worn. No tags whatsoever and hair on the vest. Seriously LL Bean?! Where's quality control?

Why do company's think it's a great idea to change a style when the original style works best?? I have one of these vests from years ago that I LOVE!! The new style vest has an ugly useless pocket on the front and extra material in the back that does not sit flat but flares out. Not at all pleasant looking.

I have one from an earlier purchase and I love it. Thought I'd buy another, but geez, why do you change the design. The pocket is beyond ugly.

I bought this a while back and everytime i wear it i need to shave it from all the pilling. Unsightly, and also pet hair really sticks to it and difficult to remove with roller, or brush. iI have purchased many items not recently but years ago when my dad was alive and now I am very disappointed in this product and i am returning it.

I purchased this vest on December 13 and was told that it was guaranteed to be delivered Christmas Eve. Well it's December 26 and my daughter in law did not receive her gift yet. This is absolutely unacceptable LL Bean! You just lost a customer!

This would be an awesome vest if it did not have that silly pocket on the chest! The pocket fabric cheapens the look of the entire vest. Have been patiently waiting for more womens tall sizes or regular sizes that were longer. Now I am patiently waiting for LL Bean to realize that not everyone wants pockets all over their garments. And especially not contrasting color pockets!

I wish there was no pocket, or at least one in the same color as the vest. Then, I will order this vest. The pocket is very ugly in my opinion.

I wanted to love this vest, especially since it came in petite. But, like so much Bean stuff, the logo was too prominent. And the pocket is hideous. Returned it.

I used to be delighted with the high quality and excellent customer service of L.L. Bean, but sadly, the quality has deteriorated. This is yet another example of buying something at LL Bean and returning it (which was NOT the case years ago). This vest came zipped up, and I was able to unzip it. But when I tried it on, I could not make the zipper go back up. Tried for awhile and finally got some help from my spouse, and we were able to get it zipped and back in the package to return. I'm 5'1", and if I had managed to zip it up to the top, the collar would have come up over the bottom of my chin. Just so sad to see a great company go downhill. If better quality means higher prices, please do so and return to your old standards.

What is with this pocket and logo on the left breast?? I assume LLB took the men's design and simply tweaked it for women -- but this pocket is a total fail. If you have any kind of curves, the pocket is useless, and worse than that, uncomfortable and awkward and just plain ugly.

Not what I wanted. I wanted sweater weight, not an actual sweater.

Does not fit. It has to go back for a bigger size.
