I love this sweater and bought a medium a couple of years ago. The medium I just received is much shorter and smaller overall. Will try the large but it may still be too short.

Not sure what's going on with Bean's sizing this last year or so. Every year I purchase a cashmere cardigan from them, and this year's was a full size smaller than previous ones, yet I purchased my usual Large. Same with this classic crew neck. Large fits like a medium all over. Narrow in body, and sleeves on the short side. Material's lovely, and has a little give, so I force stretched the sweater as much as possible, and can wear it as a somewhat fitted sweater now. Not the look I wanted, but I love the fabric and pretty mint green color. I refuse to purchase an XL in tops just to appease Bean's small sizing lately, when at other retailers I still often take a Meduim.

I love these slub rollnecks and have several in different colors. Just be aware, if you have purchased these in the past the sizing has changed. A Large is no longer quite as large as it was last season, the fit more snug and the sleeves not as long. I have ordered two more, but have sized up for the more relaxed fit I prefer.

Very nice midweight sweater; a bit on the baggy side but that's what I wanted!

Pretty color green, soft with a nice fit. I expect to wear it often when the weather warms up.

i am 5'4" tall and 132 lbs. I bought a medium and it just fits. If you want a roomier fit go up a size. The color is nice and the weight is perfect for spring. After washing, the hem stretched out a bit and the arms feel tighter. I did not put the sweater in the dryer.

I find it very comfortable and a good weight for milder weather. I have not washed it yet so don't have any feed back on that. I thought the sewing of the Ragland seams could have been a little better but looks ok on. I was a sweater finisher for a number of years so am probably a bit picky. Like the color.

Fit was true to size for me. Nice lighter weight sweater.

This sweater is super comfy and can be worn casually or at work. The only thing I don't like is the bottom hem is getting loose as I wear it. It causes the bottom to be too loose

The slub rollneck I recently purchased earns high marks. It is soft, very comfortable and the sizing is accurate. I would like to see llbean offer more tops with high hip length for those who are short in height. I would purchase this item again.

This is a nice enough sweater but not as easy-care as I would have hoped. I chose its an "everyday" grab-and-go item (its not at all dressy) but I did not focus on the care. Its washable but not really suitable for the dryer, yet another annoying item that has to be dried flat. So it has shrunk out of size but I'm hopeful that, with another washing, I can lay it out and block it back into size. Not what I needed.

This is a very pretty sweater in the soft lilac color. Unfortunately, I find it scratchy and uncomfortable. I hope, after a few washes, it softens up. I like it and am going to keep it in spite of the way it feels.

This sweater is great! Not as heavy/thick as the cable knit (thank goodness) but very cozy and warm! Able to do housework in it all day and not break a sweat. I just wish the cuffs didn't stretch out so much when I pushed them up my arms to wash dishes. Aside from that small issue I love the sweater. The fit is true to size, and the purple color is very pretty!

IMO this sweater is nicely simple, rather form-fitting and lightweight cotton rag material. It'll be easy to dress up a bit with dark jeans and jewelry. However I actually purchased it for casual wear working in both the in- and outdoors.

I like this basic, washable sweater in navy. Fits well. I would have gone back for more if they had better, more saturated colors. I don't do pastels.

Looks more expensive than it was. I've worn it alone or with a tee underneath. Sizing on target. Love it!

I purchased this in a small, which is my usual LL Bean size. It fits well and is comfortable. I did find the need to wear a camisole underneath as it is a little thin

Runs small but a very nice quality sweater for sure

The color is just lovely and, like many of you, I had to wait quite a while before it was available for reorder. I have this sweater in the mint and ivory colors and just love this relaxed style. (Don't care for a "close" fit - too uncomfortable for me.) The mint and ivory sweaters were made in China and this lavender one is made in Jordan. It is a little bigger/looser than the Chinese-made ones. Haven't washed it yet and it may tighten-up a bit, which I wouldn't mind. However, I'm sure I will wear it often almost year-round since I'm in the South and our winters are typically quite mild.

I actually love this sweater and the only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that I wish every piece of clothing I own was easy care. If things are too difficult to wash, they end up sitting dirty and unworn until I can find the energy to deal with them. And it's not THAT bad. I think it's gentle cycle or something, I just don't have much that has to be washed that way. But I got this in two colors, so at least I can wear the second one while I'm waiting to wash! I really hope it holds up!

Nice lightweight cotton sweater that could easily be worn during any season.

I bought this sweater in Navy and liked it so much that I ordered a second one in Natural. The sweater is nice for our mild NC fall/winters because it is fairly lightweight but still feels cozy. The Natural color has a definite yellow tinge - kinda like a creamy yellow. Check yours out when you get it though - my first one had a problem at the neck where it was not stitched together properly.
