Not suitable for petites. Too long in the torso. Was very surprised that LL Bean charges $6.50 to exchange a purchase for different size.. Doubtful I will shop here again.

Fit is good but color washed out almost immediately.

I neglected to note when purchasing that this did not come with adjustable straps. I have a short torso and it is too short - I'm constantly tugging it up at the top and down at the bottom. And the bra assumes my bust is about three inches lower than it is. Fortunately, I only wear it to swim laps or with my family in my condo's pool, so it doesn't matter too much. Otherwise, I like it.

This bathing suit gave me a wedgie and didn't compliment my body like the other LL bean one piece suit. Both were long torso and size 12. I had to return it.

Well made! Beautiful. Fit through torso not as advertised. A bit short to cover cheeks. I believe mine was miss sized. Otherwise, great quality

I recently purchased this swim suit. My body type is more apple than pear so I do not have particularly large thighs but my waist is bigger. This suit fits well in the chest and waist. It especially helps to camouflage my waist and I think it looks good on me. However, the leg openings don't even begin to fit snugly enough around the tops of my thighs. It's as if the elastic is overly relaxed. I've worn this suit and rinsed it so I'm not sure I should return it but I can't wear it again with the leg openings so loose.

This is a nice suit. Good fabric, nicely made, beautiful blue. Because of my shape I got one size up (12) from the size I normally wear (10) for a person 5'2" 135 lbs and the 12 is quite snug. I am VERY busty, and the cups aren't adequate. I will keep it as I can sew the front chest area to take care of the gap. I got it on a good sale. I would NOT have kept it if the price were the full price.

This is a very beautiful suit with a very odd fitting. I bought it on sale but unfortunately it's going right back. I bought a size that I would normally buy in bathing suits. The bottom was too small and the top part was way too large. It's a very odd fitting suit. To bad because it's beautiful.

I love this suit. Hate that the elastic around the legs is not snug. I am not able to wear it because of that. Not sure if I can return it, but am going to try. I have only tried it on once.

a pretty suit in black and white. thought the top was flattering cut with ample cup for 38d. i ordered long torso and the leg openings seem to be cut too large. always felt riding up and not covering well. doesn't seem long torso on me. whenever i thought to wear for swim, always changed into more comfortable suit. no sense keeping if not wearing.

I have enjoyed this bathing suit in black, which I bought a couple of years ago. Thought I'd get another one while the style was available. I have a long torso and so need a "long" bathing suit. This seems markedly shorter than my previous black one (or maybe the elastic around the legs is larger?) but even trying it on without moving much in it, it was creeping up uncomfortably on my "cheeks," so I had to send it back.

I really like the lines of the suit. It's well made. Great colors...but way too much fabric for me to wear in a hot "beach" environment. I didn't realize the suit had a tummy control feature to it. It was very slimming but felt restrictive and hot. Had to return this one.

It's a bit low cut and the straps bubble up in the water. Not the quality I expect from LL Bean

I've worn this swimsuit only once and am disappointed. It is too loose on the bottom so I'm thinking to add some elastic in the back. I should not have to do this to a brand new swimsuit. Also, the bodice would fit better if the criss-cross pieces were sewn together.

I really liked this suit for the color & style but the straps fit towards the outside of my shoulders & I didn't think they would stay up when swimming. I returned the bathing suit.

I rated this low only because it was not a good fit for a smaller figure. It was too big in the top and didn't come in any smaller size. I had to exchange it for another design which meant paying for return shipping which is a pain. Pretty suit. Wish it came in smaller size.

The top was just too unconstructed for me. Ordered 14 to be large enough in the bust and it felt too unsupportive for comfort and the straps too loose. Perhaps if it had adjustable straps it would have fit better. This suit probably works best for a lean taller person.

Every time I buy an LL Bean bathing suit I have to take it to a seamstress to make it fit my size and bust. I won't do that anymore.

I'm short-waisted and was very excited to see the reviews for this swimsuit, many of which said it ran short through the torso. This is true. It fit well in that regard. It is also flattering from the waist down. However, it swam (no pun intended) on top. The cups were much too large and there was a lot of extra fabric. I wear a 36C bra, and I couldn't wear this. It will have to go back.

I am 5'1" tall and 150 pounds. This swimsuit was very slimming, but the shoulder straps fell off my shoulders and were very uncomfortable. I had to return it. It could be that I bought the wrong size -- or that it is too short-waisted or that the straps are set too widely apart. Cannot say. Customer service was very helpful about the return. I appreciated that.

The regular size was shorter than expected. I am only 5'3" tall and it was short in the torso. I love the pattern and the colors, but I have to return it and try the long size.

I can usually fit into a 6 or a 8. I received the size 8 and it was way to tight and small. Now, I'm waiting for a exchange and am told it will be 2-3 weeks. This is UNACCEPTABLE for summer time. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
