This top is cute, but if you have boobies, it offers zero support.

I liked the style and print and ordered the right size but it was a odd fit it was too big at the straps but didn't cover my bust on the sides

Fit and finish were good. The fabric lost significant color after about 7 months use (1 -2 hours/week max).

Love the pattern and style, BUT the soft bra fits wrong. Very hard to pinpoint exactly why it feels so wrong. I think it is just to large all around. I almost sent it back because of this.

I like this top - it fits well - I do a water exercise program several days a week - wish the suit lasted longer

I like the quick-drying fabric and colors. I wish tankini tops came in size 2. I am wearing the size 4, but it is a bit big and I would be happier with a smaller size. I am 5'3", 100 lbs.

I have bought 5 or 6 of these tanks is over the years! Love the fabric and color. Not as sculptured as my others. Not enough to return it but preferred the cut of previous ones!

I've been buying this same llbean suit for many years. This year fit and quality are off. I had to send for a different size because of the new sizing is cut smaller. Additionally, the fabric is of lower thinner quality.

I own an LLBEAN tankini in size medium I bought several years ago.which I wear and like. I ordered 2 more in large for a more roomy fit around the rib age. Both are tighter than the size medium. I can wear them but disappointed they are not larger than the medium. I have not gained weight.

The top is very nice.Great color, because your designers usually don't make very much in the warmer red hues for any of your clothing. So that was refreshing to see.
But the real question is: why did your designers fail to make a matching bottom. See photo above. The black bottom does not go with the top at all. In fact none of the bottoms go with the suit top. (OK, I get it that they are called "separates", but that seems to be because the designers failed to think color matching through even slightly. "Plum wine wave" does not go with any of the skirted bottoms, altho' "Hot Coral" was recommended by your staff person. It makes a person look like a giant skirted pumpkin, and doesn't go with any of the actual stripes in the top. Few women want their butt to look bigger than their top. I ended up having to get the "Shaping Swimwear, High-Waist Brief" in "royal plum", which nearly goes with the top, but I would definitely have preferred a skirted bottom. Women of a certain age and shape generally don't want to show the top of their thighs. And face it - this suit is not really something a young woman of say 18-30 age would wear.

I searched for a long time to find a tank top style tankini but this one is a little disappointing. I wore it to my local pool and the bottom edge of the top immediately floated up. The rib cage and waist are too loose, not form fitting at all. Because it is now worn, my only option is to take it in. Hope that works on my next visit to the pool. I would not buy again.

I love the fit of this top. I have this one, and another that I ordered before. It fits great....it's got a little flow (but not too much) and isn't too fitted. Unfortunately, neither one that I have has held it's color for too long. This one is already fading. I wear it twice a week for water aerobics. Although I like the fit and style, I won't be reordering.

Fabric is comfortable and of good quality and the top fits perfectly, but for some reason this is just not one of my favorite purchases from LLB. It seems to hold a lot of water and the weight of the water makes it stretch in length when getting out of the pool. It's too much for my deep water interval fitness class and takes longer to dry than my other sheath style suits. I also bought LLB swim shorts to wear with it and they are so filled with water when I get out of the pool that they stretch to mid-thigh. I'm not sure I understand what's going on with that fabric. When it's dry it's very comfortable.

Ordered according to the sizing chart and it was absolutely huge. Not even possible to wear this. Returned.
It did look like it would be nice IF it fit, though. Fully lined, however, not just the bra portion, so it does seem a bit bulky.

Purchased a 14 Long in the Freeport store. Great fit for my torso at 5'6" 170 lb. .and nice fabric. However, shelf bra with small cups provides inadequate support and cup coverage. Next size up too big. I note most reviews are by mature customers. Would like to see better structure for bust sides and band support. Underwire would be Great! Given the demographic and need for active wear support, would love to see swimwear options with sport bra -like functionality built in.

I love the look and fit of this exotic palm print swim top in cool jade, offers a very modest fit with scoop neckline and wide comfy straps. I'm giving only 3 stars as the inside foam bra pads are not removable but are sewn in, which makes for a soggy top and doesn't dry fast. I thought to cut the bra and pads out and wear my own unpadded bras, but that may affect the fit.

I like the style and colorful print of the tankini top. I bought the rustic blue vintage floral and love the splash of bright coral with the blue. However, since the top does not come in petite sizes, I would like to have adjustable straps so that it fit better. I also wish that the cups were better constructed and had more support. The quality of the material is very good and better than that of the other catalog company. The other company does carry petites and has adjustable straps. I will have to try to shorten the straps myself. I wish L.L. Bean would update the design to include adjustable straps. That would be a big help for those of us who normally wear petite size. I prefer L.L. Bean but am torn between L.L. Bean's fine quality and style and the other company's better fit.

The suit is comfortable except the tags. They scratch my side. I'm disappointed because I love the color and the suit is great otherwise

I liked the teal color, but this top made me look thicker through the middle than most swimsuits do. And it has very little support, too. Very plain-looking styling. I'd say it runs a little large. I returned it.

Bust needs different support...perhaps an underwire. Struggle to remove due to the powerful lycra mesh net liner at the bra level. Also power net compression does nothing to enhance the bust. Back to the one piece tank for me.

I would have loved this flattering tankini, which disguised my rather large tummy nicely. However, it was so difficult to get on, and so hard to get off I was concerned I'd have to seek help. Usually a size 10 works well on me, but perhaps a size 12 would have been easier?
